She agrees to marry him in a 30-second marriage to adopt five-year-old twins.

Tobin Billings came to Clear Creek, Kansas with his five friends because they were promised three things from the Peashooter Society, a group of older church women who (kind of) ran the town.

One. Business opportunities, one of which turned out to be the livery he bought.

Two. A home, which also came with the livery, but the elderly owner still lived with him.

Three. A wife, even though the six young women had no clue what the Peashooters had offered the men.

Molly had moved to Clear Creek, Kansas, with her two sisters, Maggie and Maisie, mainly so Maisie would have help and company with her new dress shop.

Molly Brenner marries Tobin Billings after his hasty proposal for three reasons.

One. He promised he'd buy her livestock and her own barn if she married him to adopt five-year-old twin boys that were on an orphan train. In desperation, Tobin even offered a peacock, although Molly didn't really care about that.

Two. She'd secretly liked the man who recently came to town with his friends and bought the livery stable.

Three. Those little red-headed orphans made her heart flutter too.

They married in haste. Now, they have to make their marriage work while trying to keep track of kids and pets.

Will the kids’ chaos cause problems? Yes! Will they fall in love? Maybe…

Read all these romance novels set in the fictional Clear Creek, Kansas.

WILL THE KIDS’ CHAOS CAUSE THEM PROBLEMS?

The story is the sixth in a new series and is a spin-off from the Grooms with Honor and Brides with Grit Series. When six of the elderly ladies, better known as the Peashooter Society, get together, it is to come up with a plan. Now it involves getting the six prospected new grooms to meet the six potential new brides. The story is the match between Molly Breener and Tobin Billings.

The beginning starts with the surprise wedding and reception for the town where the Brenner girls married suddenly and even adopted children. The story will mostly focus on the new Billings family and their adjustments. Married in haste, but will they find love in the end?

The plot will have Molly Breener accepting a hasty proposal of marriage from Tobin Billings at the train depot to be able to adopt twin red-head boys who can’t speak. While these two have slowly been becoming acquainted, the marriage is rushed for the sake of two boys who they are told are Tim and Tommy. Not only does Tobin want them, so does Molly.

The story is full of twists and turns as they, along with other family members try to help the twins acclimate to their new home which will include Lucas, the man who Tobin bought the livery and home and a hodgepodge of animals. With both Molly and Tobin being adopted themselves, they have a unique compassion for the boys and Molly will have some clues as to how to help everyone tell the twins apart. A trip to the barber to see Peter Gehring will come with some shocking surprises. Rather than things calming down, new questions arise.

There are secrets that Tobin has kept that cause a rift with Molly, but he will be granted forgiveness. Together, they make a new life for two boys and are willing to fight to keep them when trouble comes their way. Watching Tim and Tommy together, their closer interaction, and as new experiences develop how everyone handles it is enduring.

“You just have to expect it to take time to learn each other’s strengths, weaknesses, and quirks.”

There is one more story in this series, Nadine Trades her Partner. It will be about Nadine Paulson and Wesley Preston.

Molly and Tobin's life changes very quickly. They make a quick decision to marry so that they can adopt twin boys. Tobin is especially drawn to the twins, not only as a fellow red-headed orphan but because they are Deaf. His own adoptive parents were Deaf so he hopes he'll be able to communicate with the twins.
But is their marriage merely one of convenience in order to provide a home for the boys?
This was an interesting story. It was a clean read.

Molly Switches her Man

This is another great book in this series and the story of adoption and how twin boys were sold to circus and then used as deaf and dumb children. This story teaches a lot about how the people who are doing wrong can get away with almost anything. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

Tobin Billings is one of the 6 young men that came to town together, brought by a letter written by the Pea Shooter Society. He and his six friends were on an orphan train as youngsters and all were adopted by families in the same community. They joined the Army together and served together as well. Once out they found the letter after a train robbery and decided to travel to Clear Creek, Kansas and pursue the Pea Shooters Plan.
They are paired with 6 young women in the community, but none of them are truly attracted to the person they are paired with. Will switching things up between the couples bring about many HEA's?
Enter the Orphan Train. Two young boys with bright red hair exactly like Tobin's escape and need to be tracked down. They cannot hear, and Tobin's heart goes out to them. He was raised the adopted son of Deaf Parents. Right then and there he asks Molly to marry him so they can adopt the twins. They are in for quite a ride. Secrets abound and will come to light, but you must wait for them!
This story is full of action, fun and some mystery and drama as well. Linda Hubalek's talent at blending personalities truly makes a story fantastic! Her plot weaving keeps you reading to find out where it goes.
I received an ARC of this story and am choosing to leave an honest review.

When Molly marries Tobin in order to adopt the two little redheaded deaf and mute orphans from the orphan train, things become a little difficult. How do you speak to little ones who cannot hear? Tobin knows…because his adoptive parents were deaf and mute. He learned sign language. How do you tell identical twins apart? You get their hair cut differently. Doing that created a whole new world.
Great series by this author.

What wonderful book. It is a story full of action, intrigue, humor, mystery and a HEA. You will meet some old friends from the Peashooter Society, as well as some new ones. Your heart will go out to the two little red headed deaf orphans, as they try everyone's patience. This is an excellent story and I highly recommend it. Don't miss it..I know you will enjoy it.

Linda Hubalek brings us a wonderful addition to this series. I know the Peashooter Society had no idea how their meddling would end up but it worked out perfectly for Tobin and Molly. Rushed into marriage to save the orphans, Tommy and Tim, there couldn’t have been better parents for them. It is fun to watch Tobin and Molly figure out that they care for each other, not just the boys.

Another great one in the series. Molly and Tobin have their hands full! Impromptu marriage, adopting 2 small, apparently deaf young boys (or maybe hellions is a better description). Many twists and turns in this story. Really held my interest. Can’t wait for the next one.
I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.

Good

I really enjoy how the whole community looks out for each other, like a large extended family. This book was really good, as it "filled in the blanks" about the boys. It is so satisfying to have all (or most) of the loose ends tied up. A great series.

Enjoyable

I just loved Tobin and Molly’s story. Tobin has such a sweet personality and the fact he felt compelled to adopt the twins makes him even sweeter. He’s hiding a secret from everyone. Together they make a cute couple and excellent parents to the twins.
