The Complete Lost Children Series: Books 1-6

Rate this book

Over 1500 pages of romance, action, thrills, and mysterious twists you won't see coming!

This box set includes all six books in the Lost Children Series by USA TODAY bestselling author Krista Street that reviewers have called, "the perfect mix of romance, mystery, action, and fantasy!"

After waking up in an alleyway without a whisper of a memory, Lena begins an arduous journey west following an irresistible instinct. Armed with nothing but a tattooed symbol on her inner wrist, and the ability to see auras, Lena ends up in Colorado and quickly learns she’s not alone.

Seven other young adults converge on the same spot, and they’re all just like her—strangers who woke up in random cities with missing memories, tattooed symbols, and unique paranormal powers.

One, in particular, catches her attention. Dark-eyed, super-strong, and drop-dead gorgeous, Flint, moves with the speed of a tornado but is determined to avoid Lena’s gaze. Yet something within her reaches for him, as if her soul knows he’s her safe place.

But safety is merely an illusion.

Pooling together their scraps of memories and unique talents, Lena, Flint, and the rest of the gang discover their sinister, hidden origins—and it’s not a pretty past.

There are other lost children, locked away, unable to escape, and the clock is ticking. Because if Lena and her new family can’t rescue all of the lost children in time—none of them will survive.

So this was hands down one of the best box sets I’ve purchased in a while. In the time of two weeks I was totally swept away in the world of the Lost Children. This series is really an incredible, enamoring, action packed read. I also loved the emotional element to each book, it’s honestly hard to find anything wrong with any of the six books in this series. The first three books revolve around Lena and Flint and then the last three books are written novella style. All of these children were taken from their families at very young ages. The reason is they were in despot conditions, drug addiction, sex crimes, and absolute squalor. These children were then experimented on by the O’Brien Pharmaceutical Group. These horrific experiments were done under the cloak of night and were absolutely horrific. But the experiments did result in a certain group of children adapting extraordinary powers and abilities. As the story churns we meet these children and we learn about their journey. When we meet them they have no recollection of their lives but as we go on we meet their benefactor, we learn their powers, and are introduced to their polarizing personalities. If you loved Hunger Games or Divergent this is a no brainer series to read. It’s just that good, I really can’t recommend it more!

Fun book

I liked the concept of this series, and enjoyed getting to know everyone. The world building worked, the characters were fun and true. I liked the first three books best; the last three felt unnecessary and long, like the author wanted to draw things out. But it was nice to see the family stay and grow together.

Did read the book before this one, I felt it added a lot to the enjoyment . A few things wrong that hit me as I read it, you don’t start taking birth control on the day you start a period and the English accent of Edgar just wasn’t English, I maybe nit picking but that how it hit me. For the most part a good read.

Love all 6 books so much I reviewed each one separately. A riveting take of adults with a terrible childhoods, special powers and lots of love to go around their patchwork family. Excellent reading

Brilliant series. I have read them all including the prequel. They were a great read, showing how a family should be like with each other. I'm glad that Marcus and Albert got what they deserved.

Great book

Why Amazon insist on 20 words for a review via kindle, I don't know. Especially when I just want to say that I really enjoyed this book.

From beginning to end this series had me captured. Lena and her family find out the truth of what happened to them as children and try to deal with it while also helping others they find out about. How do you find normalcy when you have special powers and are being hunted by a mad man? By sticking together as a family. This series has it all..romance, drama, action, thrilling mystery, and even some supernatural. It even touches on societal problems. Who do we think we are as a society to decide who is worthy and who should thrown out (or in this case tortured, tested on, and even killed)?
The characters are well developed throughout and scenes are descriptive so you can actually picture every part of the story. I loved how the relationships developed and changed throughout.
I loved this series and would and have read many of the books more than once.
I received some as freebies and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I was given a review copy of the final book in this series, Illumination. Similar to the rest of the series, I really enjoyed the addition to the family's story!
Similar to book 5, book six follows a new POV rather than following Lena (our main character for a majority of the series). Krista Street has brought a new fiery new perspective and story to an already intriguing series and cast of characters.
The series as a whole has been fantastic to follow and I would recommend to anyone that is a fan of stories supernatural elements, experimentation, and found family!

Interesting series about a 'family' of teens/young adults who have been experimented upon and have different 'superpowers' as a result. I am not normally a fan of superpowers books, but this has been done in such an unusual way that I found it a very enjoyable read.
Each book was not long, but by getting this box set that is not a problem, and you don't have to wait for the next one! The books were told from the perspective of different people, which made the stories much more intriguing.
