A Decent Survey of Wiccan History and Practices

I would consider this book to be a survey of Wiccan history, a look at some of its most common practices (like the Sabbats), and a glimpse at some practices a Wiccan could choose to add to their particular way of worship. Not all Wiccans, say, are interested in astrology; it is not a core tenet of the religion. I did have some issues with what the author stated at the beginning of the book. Within the first few paragraphs, she stated that Wicca is one of the most popular religions in the world. I don't think so! So when she makes broad statements like that, take them with a grain of salt. She goes over so much information that she only really has time to give a paragraph or two to many smaller topics. So you won't get much depth here. But if you’re interested in the breadth of what Wicca could be and mean for you, you might be interested in this book.

A pretty clear look at the Wicca faith.
I was not sure what this book would be like since I have seen so many just bad books, but this arc I picked up on Booksprout is really good. It had good information and written in a way that explained the use of and the how-to in plain and simple language. It will give you a pretty clear look at the Wicca faith. If you want to practice or just understand what it is all about this is a book I can easily recommend. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Great book for someone who is starting wicca

I chose five stars because it great to stays with it not too much of the same over and over loved it
