When Highland Lightning Strikes is a nice book. i really loved Highland Healer and did wonder what happened to Angus and the MacAnalens. it was nice to know. Angus although being a great leader is a total clueless, moron when it comes to the heroin, Shona. Shona has a 'special' ability which became a cause of her being send away from her formal clan after her parents died. She is sent to MacAnalens to her uncle who wish to marry her off to gain favor. Both of them a instantly attracted to each other but are held back due to various reasons. It was a fun and fast read, very enjoyable and sort of tied a lose end.
"A Highland Talents" Novella, but can be read as a stand alone. A quick, fast paced tale with a bit of Paranormal, a bit of danger, passion, romance and love. Once again, Ms Blair has written a tale that will have readers turning pages. I enjoyed this H/H in this tale. How they find their HEA. They where enjoyable, endearing and engaging. The storyline was interesting. Ms. Blair is a consummate storyteller, one who gives readers insight into Scottish legends, magic, and the love of their clan. Rather Highlander or Lowlander, her characters are always charismatic, energetic and endearing. Another must read Medieval Scottish Historical Romance by Ms. Will a Blair. Can't wait for more from this magical author.

Once again, Ms. Blair gives us another rich, Scottish romance, with just a touch of magic. One of the most important things it showed us was how the main characters struggled with the everyday problems of trust, jumping to conclusions and flinging accusations. If you look carefully, you'll find some of the authors sense of humor popping in on occasion. I have read the entire Highland series by now, with the exception of one.... which will be reading as soon as possible. I've thoroughly enjoyed each and every unique story written by Ms. Blair. If you haven't read them yet, I think you'll find them well worth the cost.
Shona the heroine is fascinating with powers that are like no other. Angus is a great character and together their story while short is very sweet.it's a good read!
I liked the way Logan and Coira battle against all the problems and obstacles to obtain the happiness they deserved, a well written story about loyalty to somebody you love,
Author Willa Blair continues her Scottish highland series with light paranormal accents. As always Willa writes a great read with wonderful sexy men in kilts and their strong individualistic women.
After all the loss and tragedy Angus and his clan have endured things are just starting to look up. Shona has very deep secrets. After loosing her parents because of the lowlanders raid on her village the village turned her out because of her talent. A great addition to the Highlands Talents series!
