Danny and Rebecca are off the grid for three years as they travel to third-world countries after the financial collapse of every leading country on earth. With the ruination of the dollar, the world is scrambling to stabilize a system that just can’t be saved.
Danny and Rebecca are trying to show as many non-leading countries as possible a new way of surviving and thriving. Starting in their own community, they instituted a bartering system that allows everyone to use their own skills and labor to ensure they have things they need. Money never enters the equation because, by now, all it is good for is starting a fire.
Threats have rained down on them virtually from the beginning, but when those threats touch their family, Danny and Rebecca are determined to put a stop to them. Meeting with the elites after a whirlwind trip around the U.S. is risky business, but Danny and Rebecca choose to face it together. Tensions are high on both sides as they push for their way, their system.

I really like this series. It's about something my mother in law did when she had her business in the 80s. It's about sharing the abundance of God with each other who are in need. If this was part of our lives we would be able to live better. This book shows you how it is possible to continue when your world is turned upside down. Our nation is facing financial crisis and this book is very eye opening.

I truly enjoyed all the books in this series. I can see the way the world is going, this might end up being the means to get what we need & want. I am a Christian woman,(62) and would like to think I could go right back at it, like Rebecca did. I hope if our country does come to bartering, that it will be a peaceful progression. I really enjoyed thinking about these things as I was reading. Great Book.

This series is so uplifting and hopeful that you just feel wonderful reading about a really difficult situation. Danny and Rebecca have a mission, retrain the world on how to live in the current world environment. You should read this series and find out how to change your life now to enjoy what you have, family and love. Purchased a copy of this book through KU and very glad I did.

I received a free copy to review: this is the 3rd installment of the story. I found the plot believable and the characters' faith jouney inspirational. My personal take is that the 3 short stories should be combined into 1 and that the author can give slightly more narrative to add flesh to the skeleton of the story.

This series has been very informative. The bartering system used to almost be a way of life. The characters put their trust and faith in God and cover the country, coming up against opposition and agreement. They never gave up. This could be a good example for this generation to learn. I received this book as a gift in exchange for an honest review.

There is a huge cost for following Jesus. In the same way, our friends realized there was a great cost to do what they were doing. What about you? Will you do what God calls you to do no matter the cost? It's not easy, so really think and pray about it. I will do the same.
