The Snake Report II

Rate this book
A ritual of unforeseen consequences has struck a terrible bargain in the Northern Forests. Flames of Chaos spread, swallowing up all they can with horrific hunger, bringing pain and madness to all they cross. Across the ocean, the lands have long since begun to die. The Empire of mankind struggles to maintain against the pressing weight of drought, famine, and the long-standing dangers of the Eastern Mountains, where ancient Dwarven [Constructs] and monsters roam. The people whisper of a coming doom, and some say even the Emperor's own Seers claim the end has begun... But none of these things have anything to do with a Tiny Snake. Not in the slightest. ------ From the online web-serial, comes a story of reincarnation, comedy, and the winding path towards existential All Hail The Tiny Snake God!

All hail the tiny snake god

This was different from the first book. The reviews got that part right. More characters and more POVs but it was still interesting. Not a fan of how it ended. But I will definitely read the next one.

This is more like a book 1 of some grimdark fantasy novel

This isn't even the same genre of litrpg anymore. Boring. Formatting issues abound. Regret buying.

Author please don't wildly change the setting and premise in the second book of a series.

Will not be buying anything from this author again, these kind of maneuvers strictly belong to kindle unlimited.

Idk why there are so many 5 star reviews but book II is HORRENDOUS. I mean what happened? Book one was great, never knew I could go from loving a book to wishing I had never started reading it.

SPOILER

A progression LitRPG in which all the progression from book one is reset in book two. Extremely forced as well, there wasn’t a logical reason why, it just happened. Very often I don’t agree with decisions authors often make, but this? This is full on retarded, I can’t even put in words wtf is happening in book II.
Do not read. Save yourself from wanting to pull out your hair.

Slower but great characterisation and storyline

Intriguing follow up to snake report 1. Definitely slower and maybe a little overdone with the text self speak 10 liners but seriously interesting story. Stay the course. What will happen to our little snake? And he now has friends!

Great story, needs editing

Be advised that the story takes a turn for a grimmer narrative, plus the narration jumps from the tiny snake to some new characters.
