a while ago, my cousin got into the world of crystals, spells and all of that. a world called witchcraft, which just by the name of it I thought he was about to do something horrible one day.

but that’s what this book talked about at first. witchcraft isn’t about what everyone says is about. (Which is basically a crime)
it’s about self strength, it can calm you and make you feel empowered.

I personally enjoyed this book for a few reasons. One of them was that I had only a brief knowledge of what witchcraft was. And in this book it says that it describes a small portion of what is witchcraft but I felt like I gained so much knowledge within such a small book. However, I’m no expert on witchcraft and never will be. but I got the idea behind it and I’m not disappointed. I actually love it.

This book also contains a several exercises that you can do at home and were super easy which was also a win for me.

I really enjoyed this book, it is a very good start into learning about witchcraft and seeing if it is something one could get into. I had the intentions of learning more about witchcraft after my partner started her path and I wanted to see if it was right for me. I really loved that this book is a very easy read and simple introduction to the occult and I am excited to read more similar books. Plus it's small and cute and a perfect addition to my shelf!

It may be a little book but it is full of very useful information. It's perfect for anyone who is just getting into witchcraft and wants to learn the basics. There is a brief guide to the history of witchcraft, how to cleanse, charge and use crystals, herbs, colours, a few affirmations and meditations, and my favourite - a guide on how to make candles at home.

I can't wait to try and make a candle!

The first book I ever read about Witchraft and I absolutely loved it! It's got all the basics that you need to know. A brief history of witchcraft, crystals, some affirmations, how to create your own candles, tarot, plants and herbs.. a little bit of everything! I found it very useful and that's how my journey into the world of witchraft began.

This cute little book was a very nice (but brief) introduction to the craft.

Reading it made me feel witchy and valid.

The only downside was that it refers to women practising witchcraft and I felt this was non-binary and male witch exclusive.

Overall would recommend to the witchy curious.

Blessed be.

This is a cute little book which is interesting, gets you into the basics and shows that there is nothing scary about magic relating to the earth, seasons and crystals. All natural stuff, easy to implement, good fun and try it - see where it leads you! Enjoyed this a lot.

Cute and pocket sized. Easy to read with beautiful illustrations. A good beginners introduction that answers the question, "what is witchcraft?" (Answer, not exactly what i expected.)

This book was thoughtfully written and beautifully illustrated. Guilsborough's philosophy and writing style is very approachable, making this a great book for beginners and people who don't necessarily believe in magic, but are interested in witchcraft.

Reading this was a gentle and calming experience. It's my favorite book I've read so far about witchcraft, and I like to keep it on my nightstand to leaf through when I'm looking for some inspiration.

As a beginner's guide on witchcraft this book is good. But for someone who's been researching about these things for a while, they will not find much new information in this book. I personally don’t practice it because connecting to yourself and loving yourself and your feminine side can be done with psychology, no need for whole another system as witchcraft. It's very cute illustrated pocket sized book.
