Untouchable #4

Whispers and Wishes

Rate this book
Everything changes. Even the things we didn’t ask for. Jake, Archie, Coop, and Ian were my best friends and three of them still are and they’re also now my lovers, my boyfriends, and pretty much the anchors keeping me from getting washed away.

I’ve had great moments and I’ve had horrible ones. One thing is for sure, I’ll never forget my senior year.

It’s the year everything changed.

*Please note this is a reverse harem and the author suggests you always read the forward in her books. This is the fourth in a series and the story will continue through future books.

I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.

I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.

After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.

Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.

Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.

One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.

I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!

Read other books by this author in the future: yes

This books ends on a cliffhanger. It was an okay read. Basically there are mommy issues, issues with Frankie being drugged and physically abused, but saved in the third book. And issues with people involved in the drugging.

I liked the first book and kept on reading but now after the fourth book I hope that the next one will be the last one. As this one ends on an cliffhanger, I think I will read the next one, but the author needs to up her game, because it was an okay read but a little on the side of boring.

Whispers and Wishes continues Frankies story. She has a lot of healing to do. Ian has a lot of groveling to do. And then there is the Frankies mom and Archies dad situation. This book much like Frankies life is an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you dizzy. The ending will leave you gasping and desperate for the next installment.

I know I keep saying this but I absolutely love these characters! Frankie and her boys are amazing and I just love them. They have so many personal trials they are each going through especially Frankie yet they are always there for each other. As a group they make decisions together and have really grown with making sure they have a democracy and talk everything out. I also absolutely love Rachel! She is my favorite. Everyone needs a Rachel in their lives. That ending though...I’m off to read the 5th book ASAP.

Recovery is tough, but these guys are helping

The first few chapters of this had me in tears. After what happened at the end of the previous book, I felt so overwhelmed by the boys' being so caring and understanding. I've found them overbearing on most of their actions in the previous books, but the way they're understanding Frankie's need for independence and to just have them near is wonderful. I also liked that Frankie was letting them help her. Their relationship is evolving with give and take from all involved, and it gave me all the warm, fuzzy feelings through the darkness of the situation.

I absolutely adored the scene with Frankie and Maddy in the park. I'm so proud of Frankie, and even though I know this is far from over, that was a seriously huge step in the right direction for her.

I also loved Ian trying to earn his forgiveness. He knows he messed, and that honestly makes me respect him. He's one of my favourite characters (next to Rachel, the true MVP) and he's had amazing character growth through the last few books.

But that cliffhanger? Mean.

If you haven’t read the previous three books – and the author is very clear about this – you will not get the full effect of this story. I won’t give any spoilers but let me just say: Whoa. Wow. Geez! I guess I don’t remember how “mean” the “mean girls/guys” can be from high school however they really are. I still don’t like some of the adults in this story! (I’d say parents but some don’t deserve that title.) Others? I wish they had been in my life when I was younger.

In Whispers and Wishes, Frankie is really put to a life test. There are so many issues and events going on for her that a lesser person would crumble. In a way, she does, a bit, but she is strong and handles most of these things with only a little bit of angst. The character is amazing.

Ian is still in the doghouse with Frankie. Archie is still going thru parental unit issues – alongside Frankie. Coop has been Frankie’s BFF for forever and he adores her. And Jake is Jake, working thru anger issues and being a part of this five-pack, along with everyone else.

This book deals with the beginning of their senior year. Word of warning: my heart just about stopped at the ending. All I can do is repeat: Whoa. Wow. Geez!

Healing and Moving Forward

Frankie, Archie, Jake, Cooper and Ian are dealing with the aftermath of what Mitch did at Homecoming. Frankie is having nightmares and hating that she cannot remember everything. The guys are taking such good care of her, though. Rachel is great, too. I really love these relationships. We get to meet Archie's grandfather and he's great. Ian is doing well with gaining Frankie's forgiveness and there are more hot scenes with Frankie and the guys.

Frankie's mother continues to be a disappointment. Cheryl reveals something pretty terrible and there is no way she can ever be forgiven. Sharon falls to a new low, but I think she's finally been out in her place. She had better leave Frankie alone.

Mitch apparently hasn't learned his lesson, though. I'm really glad I'm late catching up on the series of that cliffhanger would have me soooo mad.

I fell for this series as soon as I read book 1. I love Frankie, Coop, Ian, Archie and Jake. They loved each other even before getting into a relationship. But what I loved the most was how strong Frankie was. I know that she wen through a lot in the past books, however, I felt like instead of becoming stronger, she's just becoming more dependent on her guys.

She still has a lot of healing to do and dealing with the aftermath of the assault; Ian has a lot of grovelling to do, and the rest of the guys are being iper protective.

Oh boy action happens here

Finally something happens to Frankie, not that I wanted anything to happen to her. But so many book and everything came relatively easy to her aside from things with her mom. In this book we get to learn Frankie’s true friends, Ian becomes an idiot, I truly didn’t get what his issues/insecurities were. Then we have what happens in this book, and the ending. The ending is major cliffhanger especially when Ian and Frankie are together right there.

Some of the things the other people in the story are doing are very interesting. Their motivations don’t make complete sense to me, but in some stupidly weird teenage way they do.

Let’s see where this next one goes.

I can’t anymore

The way this series is written is extremely tedious. Which sucks because I do really like the characters. But god, we get scenes of every meal, every insignificant conversation and thought. One day gets so many

Holy hellfire guys, I don't even know where to start with this book. This is the fourth book in the series and if you haven't read the rest of them then don't read this review. Just run, run fast and download the first book and devour this amazing series. If you have read the other books then you know what an adventure Frankie's life has been up to this point. Well hang on cause it's about to get a whole lot bumpier.

We start book four where we end in book three. Frankie has been attacked and is recovering with the help of her guys, and Ian. Bless his little heart y'all. Let me just sidetrack to him for a second b/c I really do love Bubba. He knows he messed up. He didn't realize how much he was messing up as he was doing it but he sure does try to make up for it in this book. If you have been holding on to some ill feelings towards him after book three then be prepared to fall in love with him all over again. He really steps up in this book. Ok back to the rest. Frankie is having a really hard time with everything. She's used to being independent and having to rely on the guys is really hard for her. She's also struggling with not being able to remember all that happened. Of course we have to deal with bad meatloaf still. Once she finally decides to show up again that is. It's a lot for our poor Frankie. It's a good thing she has so many good people to rely on to help her out.

We've already talked about Bubba and how much he steps up in this book. The other guys all do their part as well. We really get a deeper look inside some of their lives in this book and it was so amazing. It's not like they weren't relatable enough already but this really brings it home for you. Seeing them in their life outside of Frankie. We also have our girl Rachel. Now I wasn't so sure about Rachel at first. I knew she would probably be good for Frankie to have on her side b/c she's a female in her life of testosterone. Her interactions with said testosterone though has always been on the mean side. Well let me tell you, Rachel won me right over in this book. The way she has our girls back, I need a friend like her.

I've said this with the previous three books and I hold still on it now. This is one of my all time favorite RH series. I love these characters intensely. I start reading and I get sucked right into their world. Heather does an amazing job of making us feel for them. Their love is our love, their pain is our pain. And there are some serious emotions to be had in this fourth book. So many great moments. Now, here's the biggy about this book. When you get to the end, you are going to go straight to Heather and say What the actual FUCK did you just do to me? That ending....

WHYYYYY!!!!!!!!

Now I know the next book is not showing out until October but I feel sure we won't have to wait that long. I don't think the readers would let this little cliffy go that long without resolution. Don't let that stop you from reading this now though. Even with that ending you won't regret jumping in.

Why did you read this book?
There are a few series I’ve been wanting to read. This is one of them.

What format did you read this book in?
Read it as an ebook on Kindle.

Is this an educational book or a book for entertainment?
I read this book for pure entertainment purposes.

What genres do you think this book belongs to?
Chick Lit, Contemporary, Fiction, Romance, Young Adult

What was your favorite part in the book? SPOILERS
My favorite part is the guys constantly burning food while trying to learn how to cook.

Who would you suggest this book to?
Anyone who likes slow building high school romances.

What is your general opinion/ rating of this book? SPOILERS
This was another great addition to the series. It’s terrible what the MC had gone through. I think it’s sweet that they guys are there for her whenever she has night terrors. Although, I think they can be a bit overprotective sometimes. MC and Archie’s dad are terrible people. I am glad that the MC is legally getting away from her mother. It’s good that Archie has at least one member of his family (grandpa) he can depend on. I cannot believe her “friend” drugged the MC and other girls on purpose! I am glad that evil B%@#$ got arrested. I am glad they finally fought back against the bullying the MC was going through. I appreciate the author writing about how difficult therapy can be and how necessary it is when dealing with trauma. The cliffhanger has me on the edge of my seat! I can’t believe that creeper and his friends are attacking the MC and Ian at a Halloween party. Overall, if you’ve enjoyed the series so far then you’ll like this book.

Are there any cliché scenes or concepts?
Friends to lovers troupe. Jealous mean girl troupe. Creeper guy wanting MC because of jealousy. Sassy best friend troupe.

How intense are the intimacy scenes?
The intimacy scenes are vividly detailed. MF. MFM.

At what “burn” level is the romance?
Medium burn.

Love interests, how many of them are there and what gender?
There are four love interest, all of them males, and childhood friend.
Coop- Boyfriend
Bubba (Ian)- “Friend”
Jake- Boyfriend
Archie- Boyfriend

This book starts where we left off in the last one, so if you haven't read the others yet, stop now and go read them in order.

Frankie has a week off from school with a doctor's note. The guys however had to go in but they weren't going to leave her alone. Not with her hand in a splint and in pain from all the cuts and bruises. Archie stayed this first day, have I mentioned how much I love him and his butler/guardian Jeremy?

We get to see Ian and Jake's anger management session with the student advocate/counselor Dr. Diane Miller. She is aware of what happened at Homecoming and I think she actually makes some headway in steering them towards the right direction. However there are many others that just want to push the buttons to see what happens. Sharon is one of those people as she keeps trying to corner Ian, fortunately Rachel is there to do something when neither Ian or Coop can. Oopsy...

Something a bit unique to this book is that we get more from the guys point of view. I really liked knowing what they're thinking as their story progresses. This is particularly helpful when it comes to Ian. Ian stopped Mitch from doing any more harm to Frankie that fateful night. Yet he is in the friend zone with Frankie, he wants to be more but he definitely has to earn her trust. That is not going to be easy. She still loves him but trust is essential to her and he's broken it.

The guys are formidable when it comes to protecting Frankie, she's their number one priority, they all love her and it shows. We get to see not only the days she has one on one with Archie, Jake and Coop, but also the nights which also include Ian. She's plagued by nightmares and they've found a way to chase them when they start.

She's also started the emancipation procedure through one of Archie's lawyers, Mr. Wittaker. Obviously Frankie has a lot going on, both physically and mentally but her mother showing up at the school her first day back really takes the case.

This of course opens a new can of worms for both Frankie and Archie. Did I mention I really like the lawyer?

We also get to meet Archie's grandfather, he's so unlike Archie's Dad and he likes Frankie too. We see more of Coop's sister, in this book. Rachel is as always the snarky supportive friend, and Sharon is...Sharon.

Frankie isn't taking any crap from anyone and neither are the guys. We get answers and more questions as we reach the conclusion of the OMG book.

I can't wait for the next book. Please write faster Heather LOL.

4.5 stars...... If you happen to follow me on my IG @ brayshaw_love you know I only post my 5 star recommendations; however, this series is the exception to that rule!!! This review summarizes my thoughts and ratings on the first 4 books in this series.

The first 2 books, I only rated a 3.5. Books 3 & 4 were each given a 4.5. The fact that I kept reading the series after the first two speaks volumes!!! The characters really grabbed my interest. I felt a connection with them in a way that made me want to keep reading, despite my issues with the first 2 books. She did such a great job creating this cast of characters and I am hooked on this series, even with the errors!!! I enjoyed the more lighthearted teen angst storyline, after reading mostly darker romances the past few months. I was so glad to see that the 3rd and 4th book in the series didn't have as many repetitive, unnecessary parts, which meant the character interactions and conversations took more of a central role and the story seemed to flow at a faster pace while reading.

So if you decide to give this highschool reverse harem a chance, I encourage you to push thru and not give up after book 1 or 2, especially if you can read using Kindle unlimited.

Now to breakdown why I couldn't rate them with 5 stars: The first two were very bogged down with mundane, repetitive day to day activities and I honestly ended up skimming most of those 2 books (I can only read about needing to feed the cats or change their litter boxes so many times😂). Those repetitive, unnecessary parts took away from the meaningful character conversations and interactions. Add to that the high number of mistakes in the books and I just couldn't give it a 5. Unfortunately the errors in each book is one thing that has been a big issue, especially since there were some instances I had no idea what it was actually supposed to say.

I saw not many reviewers have pointed out these errors, so maybe these things won't be an issue for you while reading, but my background as an editor just makes these things stick out more to me. I can usually just correct in my head and keep reading, but it really took away from the story this time, which is why the 3rd and 4th book had 1/2 star taken off.

Stephannie's 5 Star Review:
OMG, I just love this series. This one is the fourth book in the series and can't be read as a standalone. You must check out the first 3 books then dive into this one. But please be aware that once you start reading book one you will not want to stop for anything so make sure you have a few days to devour this series first.
This book starts where the 3rd book ends and there is another bumpy ride for  Frankie. I don't want to go into details to spoil anything about this series or this book. But I just love this series. Frankie senior year is still very bumpy one.
I really love Frankie, her guys and Rachel.  This story will take over your life because once you start reading everything else can wait until you finish. I was sucked into Frankie's life and just loved it. Frankie needs these guys as much as they need her for love and support. Frankie's mom situation is unthinkable and I can't wait to figure it out.  There are so much going on in this fourth book. And there are some serious emotions to be had in this fourth book.  The ending is going to have you trying to beg, borrow and steal for more. I need more and now. The wait until October for the next book is going to kill me. I am trying to be patient but it is hard.  One click this series today!

Whispers and Wishes is the fourth book in the Untouchables series by Heather Long.

I hate how this book ends. That cliffy? Devastating. We had all just gotten back to a good place. Semi-shaky ground still present, obstacles still shading their journey, but enough good to overshadow the horrible trauma that occurred in the last book. It’s hanging over my head so much that it’s hard to even comprehend everything else that occurred before that final page.

I hate her mother more and more. And Mr. Standish. They both disgust me. For Frankie and Archie’s sakes I feel angered. Archie buries most of what happens in his home life. I’m thankful that Jeremy is a part of it, because I honestly believe that without him this character would be irrevocably changed. And saddened that the amazing man his grandfather is in this book, has only just become a part of his life again. I can’t find any qualifying features in Maddy. Her mother presents bad side after bad side. Their parents are so perfectly suited for each other, they don’t even care for their children and I wish they would just take their nauseating ‘love’ across the country already and stay there.

I came so close to reviewing this at a lower rating for the piles and piles of crap Frankie has to face. Adding Mitch into the mix and Cheryl’s horrible contribution to such terrible actions makes my stomach roll. I can’t understand finding that situation acceptable. And I’m known to have sufficiently low self esteem on occasion.

I’m beyond thankful for Rachel. And horribly devastated that one of the only two girl friends she had to consider turned out to be a snake. I’m terrified to start the next book because if she is actually assaulted this series will drill a hole in my heart for the characters I’ve come to love. And all they’ve come to survive together.

Whispers and Wishes (Untouchable Book 4) Kindle Edition

by Heather Long

Thanks to Heather Long and the publisher for the complimentary review copy. I am choosing to leave a fair and honest review.

We return to a post-Homecoming world for Frankie and her boys. It is important to note that these books need to be read in order, and they are so worth the time to start at the beginning. Stop now if you haven't read the other two books. Seriously, cover your eyes if you are just starting this series.
Frankie and the boys are home from the hospital. The boys want nothing more than to protect her from her Mother, Mitch, Sharon or anyone who is poised to hurt her. She wants nothing more than to return to normal. She and they need to fight her inner demons and her very human ones as well.
Heather Long creates sexual and emotional tension between the characters that keeps the pages turning almost on their own. Each of the male characters, the reverse harem, fits and the busts the stereotypes of romance heroes. Frankie is nearly walks off the page, she is so real. There is no one trope that this set of character.

The love and the sex scenes (in this series there are love scenes that don't turn into sex) were hot and also very real. My poor kindle almost caught fre.
I never want to go back to high school, unless I could go with Frankie and her men.

I truly love Frankie and the boys (no matter what you hear about Ian ...i love him!)
Their relationship continues to grow and bloom and the emotional part of it is so sweet and devastating that made my heart beat faster and my eyes water on more than one occasions.
Ian is pulling through and i still love him and that's all i am going to say about him!
The struggles are real and Frankie has a load of them on her plate to handle.
Emotional, deep, caring, loving with scenes that you can see yourself in this book is so real and true that it sucks you in.
Can you say one hell of cliffhanger?
Then yes this books ends in such a cliffhanger that will have your head spinning!
Once again Heather Long gave us an amazing book!
I got an advance readers copy and i decided to read and review it and this is my honest review.

Frankie is still recovering physically and emotionally from the night of the dance and Mitch's attack. Thankfully, she has four great guys willing to do everything they can to help. She also has a snarky best friend by her side and a boss who thinks of her as a daughter. She will be fine; it may take a bit and she may need a little extra help along the way but Frankie is a survivor.

This series is so enjoyable. The characters are so likable and it all feels natural. I hate that Frankie suffered a drugging and sexual assault but it was wonderful to see her address her needs. Leaning on the guys, asking for help from Rachel, allowing Jeremy to spoil her, and attending therapy. She's relied only on herself for so long, it showed character growth to accept help from others. This is strength, not weakness. We all need a Rachel in our world. I adore her. The guys grow on me with each book. I love that we get their POVs! Frankie's mother is still a piece of work and I wish I could figure out exactly what Eddie is up to. Then came that cliffhanger. Unexpected and worrisome. One of the things that I have liked most about this series, is that it's realistic. Every situation is believable. I'm worried that it may be drifting to melodrama with that ending.

Okay, Heather is clearly some sort of wizard because these books just keep getting better and better. Whispers and Wishes picks up right after Frankie's attack at homecoming and we get to see the boys taking care of her (not like she has a parental figure... cough cough bad meatloaf) and its so sweet. They truly are the best friends and love her so much and it shows. (Also major shout out Jeremy, he continues to be the real MVP)

Ian is finally starting to get back into my good graces and I'm so excited! He really is just there to love and support Frankie. Did he go about that in the best way? Absolutely not. Do I think he's going to make up for it in a big way? YES. Don't count Ian out just yet.

As always I love the individual relationships Frankie has with all her boys, and their relationship as a whole. It's seriously steamy, but always so so sweet and loving. It's so easy to fall headfirst into the universe that Long has created and just love these characters with your whole heart.

The ending however.... ITS WILD. It's scary and it'll leave you dying for the next book. SO GOOD.

Heather has, yet again, written a phenomenal book to add to the Untouchable Series. This was nothing short of amazing. Heather continually leaves me in awe when I finish one of her books. Whether it’s the cliffhanger I just read or a combination of a cliffhanger and an all around great book. She never disappoints. We dive into frankies works right where we left off in book 3. And oh my heart. Get ready.

This book, book 4, was a true test to a lot of the characters. We got to see the nitty gritty what really lies underneath Frankie and the Boys characters. We see a lot of vulnerability. Many of the characters really get an in-depth look at their true characters. What makes them weak, strong, scared, we see it all. We see the growth of all of the characters from the beginning of book 4 to the end. This group of 5 have evolved and changed into adults from teens. The situations they are put into, challenge them both mentally, physically, and emotionally. I’m so excited to see what else is in store! Read this book! You will not regret it!

With each book in the Untouchable series, I just love Frankie and the guys more. I’ve paused all the other books I’m in and need to finish this and oh man it’s good!!!

Frankie and the guys continue to show their true characters and also grow before our eyes. Heather let us see a lot through the guys' Point of views in Whispers and Wishes and also more of their regular family interactions.

We see Frankie working towards her recovery from the events at the end of the last book and we get both the continuation of some prior challenges and the addition of new challenges.

We also still get the steamy and sweet moments with each guy and Ian made my heart happy in this book. He really stepped up and tried to fix things. This book ended with me literally saying to my husband that I was going to finish this book then go to bed and get some good rest but here I sit - 35 pages into the next book and writing this review! This cliffhanger was the worst (looking at you Heather 👀)

If you haven’t picked up this series yet you really should!!!!! @heathervlong

I read this as an ARC and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is the 4th book of the Untouchable series and picks up right where book 3 ended. Frankie has a tough time ahead of her. She is going through family struggles, boy trouble and went through a serious sexual assault. This book finds her struggling but getting the support she needs through friendship, guys and her own decisions. This book ends on a really big cliffhanger.
I don’t think I’ve cried so hard at times whilst reading this. The raw emotions and what Frankie goes through and his the guys read to it had me crying in a ball. That being said. I forced myself to sleep between starting and finishing this book because I literally didn’t want to put it down.

As stated this book has references to sexual assault and neglect and emotional and physical abuse so if you are sensitive or these are triggers pleas be warned. However if you’ve already read books 1-3 you’ll know.

This is a 5⭐️ recommended read.

Frankie is still on the mend after the events of the previous book. All her boys are rallying around, even Ian who has been distancing himself lately. But is it too much, too late? Can he claim his place back amongst the Quintouple?

Frankie really struggles with having to rely on people and with the patches of her memory that are missing. The boys ae seen more in the usual home life, letting you glimpse what their world is live when they are not around Frankie. Let's just say that their lives are not what you have so far seen painted - they is way more depth to them.

Rachel is the kinda girl every female wants in her corner. Does she want Frankie herself? Well, possibly. But that won't stop her from doing all she can to make sure that Frankie is happy.

Be warned there is a cliffhanger!

Y'alllllll, that last cliffhanger nearly killed me.
So clearly I had to jump into the next book the minute I woke up.

This was was far more... emotional that the previous books. You guys know I'm not into spoilers in my reviews. The incident at the end of the book is the catalyst for everything that happens in this book. It was big and the relationships really grow from this moment. These boys...their protectiveness is something to be joyful about. I love that they all are so supportive of each other (the boys). Their friendship is probably my favorite part of the book.

Frankie is really evolving and I can't wait for the next books. She is starting to break free of the things that have been holding her down for a while. The cliffhanger was totally gutty and I'm really hoping that we get the next book soon. Can't wait!

Bought on Audible, and the dual narration (man - Grayson Owens - does all the males voices and lady - Marnye Young - does all the female) was just AWESOME. I was totally hooked, and invested from half hour in, and happily ignored real life to carry on listening :)

I genuinely loved it so much I went and bought all the the rest of the series (well all on audible, two are yet to be audio books), and have spent this week listening through them all - who needs sleep!

I like the gentle growth of each character, the very realistic caution and confusion over their situation and relationship.

It is a hugely developed world and journey considering how very short the amount of time the book actually covers. I'm on book 7 right now and they are still in the current year at High School (only negative, the age... wish they were older!).

This book: RH, friends-to- lovers

I love said it before and I’ll say it again, these books just keep getting better!!! I absolutely loved how much we got to see the characters individual relationships grow throughout this book. I still can’t figure out what Arch’s dad and Frankie’s mom are up too and it’s making me crazy. I loved seeing a different, softer/happier, side of Archie and meeting his grandpa was amazing. I feel so bad for Frankie for everything that she has endured over the last few books. I was absolutely floored about how the situation with her former “friend” played out. That ending has me screaming mad and I’m immediately starting the next book because I need to know what happens! I have loved watching Ian step up and can’t wait to see him continue to prove himself.

5/5 "The first step was the hardest one. You walked in and I invited you to sit and talk. I smiled at you and you joined in. You were a stranger then you were a friend. The second step was harder still. You wanted me and I was blind. Whispers and wishes, so many misses. Dancing. Playing. Laughing. Crying. You were the one who wanted to take my dreams flying..." I just love that Frankie did this song for Archie, and that Ian finally pulled his head out of his butt and helped her. She didn't deserve what Mitch did and Archie is doing everything in his power to protect her from her mom. Jake and Coop are most definitely the steadiest for her and I just adore them. The ending has me freaked because I want Ian and Frankie to be safe from Mitch. I also cannot believe Cheryl played a part in Mitch drugging people!!

What a great addition to this series. If you haven't read the first three in this series you should wait on this one until you do. This one continuous where book 3 Keys and Kisses ended. I hate cliff hangers and they all have them but it makes me want the next one so I can find out what happened.
This book continues with all the suspense, mystery, love and lost as the other three. Book 4 continues after the attack in book 3. For their senior year they have went through a lot and it continues, will we find out who is out to get Frankie, because of her 4 best friends and love of her life. Guess you will be with me to see what happens and what they find out in the next book.. Love this series, definitely worth the read.
