Jack never expected to find someone like Channon, and now that he has, he's working on a plan to keep him. But when word gets out, their personal lives are exposed, leaving Jack uncertain. It's up to Channon to find a way to prove he wants this and his Sir.
My heart is about to burst!!!!! EKKK! Jack and Channon and the PERFECTION that was this final installment to the 4th season of this series. I JUST LOVE THEM. And I have been calling for a ring for a couple seasons now lol, so YAY!
If you haven't tried this series - OMG go get season 1 and catch up! You'll have 4 full seasons to read and devour and enjoy, and it ends of such perfection, no cliffhanger here, although I'll totally be ready for season 5 when it starts back up again.
Me thinks I know at least one person in a possible spin off...
This episode just melted my (admittedly sappy and romantic) heart. There was even a part that brought me to (happy) tears. The growth Channon and Jack have made over the course of this series is astounding. I can’t wait to see where they go from here, yet I’m also so happy with where they already are.
This installment was SO good! Jack was SO nervous and that’s how you know he was serious. Emotional Jack is the best Jack. Channon really came into himself in this episode. His growth from book 1 is quite something.
This was perfectly put… We’re emotionally monogamous,” Jack clarified. “But sexually…flexible.” “And when you’re married?” “I don’t see why that should change.”
I love these characters and even though their HEA is guaranteed it’s awesome that we still get another season with them. Jack and Channon ❤️❤️
Jack and Channon are so solid that without a kinky episode or two these might be boring but aren't because there is still growth to be had. What I get out of these books now that I love the most is when Jack looks at his relationship and feelings toward Nate and Ewan and others in his life. I love that introspection and growth for him. I adore the interaction between Channon and Ewan because again, I think that is an area of growth with a side of comfort they both need. Neither Jack nor Channon would be the couple they are without Nate and Ewan to challenge them in different ways.
What a perfect ending to an amazing series! I didn't want this book to end. I'm so glad I took a chance on this unknown to me at the time author. Jack and Channon are easily one of my favourite ever couples. I have loved seeing them grow together and fall completely in love. I dont know why but i honestly swoon everytime Jack calls Channon sweetheart. Can't wait for the new series and THE WEDDING? Eek x
The good + Channon + Jack refusing to propose to Channon in front of his family because it'd put too much pressure on him to say yes + Jack's proposal + Jack getting so much pleasure from calling Channon his fiancé + Mr Nash telling Channon to call them Mom and Dad + Channon recognizing Jack's insecurities and trying to assure him he really does want to marry him +
The bad - I don't remember exactly how old Sasha was, but I thought she was about the same age as Channon. Which means she could be held responsible for her actions, and I didn't feel like she was told clearly enough how much damage she had done - Channon had to apologize to Ewan for not being the one to tell him, while Channon was the one whose private life was just splashed all over the internet without his permission. Ewan should've been the one to apologize for assuming Channon kept it from him on purpose
Quotes x "I said I'd marry you, but Jack, will you marry me?" x Yeah. I can definitely fall in love with him every day for the rest of my life.
This was romantic as fuck, even with all the drama. The way Jack proposed, and the way Channon responded both immediately and later on were so perfect. I think this was originally supposed to be the end of the serial, but I'm glad there is still more to come.
I loved this one, not because of what happens, but because they are becoming more equal with each other, because they are both being vulnerable to and for each other.
This series started out as some quick, easy, sexy reads that desperately needed editing and content readers, but I was quickly drawn into the world and Jack's and Channon's relationship. The quality of the writing and editing improved greatly as it went on and my desire to know what happened to them grew. I'm glad I read this and I'm definitely going to check out more from this author.
I am so looking forward to the next season of Channon and Jack!
Channon and Jack are lodged in my heart and conscience so much that yesterday something happened and for a flash of a moment I thought, "I've got to tell Channon that," before realizing that, yeah. He's not a real person.
I'm amazed how Moray is able, episode after episode, to write new situations and settings for these two. There's at least a 1,000 words of Jack and Channon out there and yet their story never gets boring or repetitive. Granted, with the kind of relationship they have, their sex life probably has enough variety for another 1,000 pages!
Channon has come so far since he hopped Jack's fence nearly two years ago, but so has Jack. They still have the D/s dynamic but the two of them have gradually been growing towards each other, Channon gaining confidence and Jack losing it. Jack's feelings for Channon have knocked him off his pedestal. They're both afraid of losing the other.
I won't spoil the surprise in this episode even though it shows up pretty early but suffice to say Jack and Channon have grown into equals in the ways that matter.
So...for purposes of review, I'm grouping installments #31-#36 together...
In which Jack discovers an actual adult emotion and acts on it, and Channon gets his most ardent wish. As with all the previous installments, Jack and Channon have loads of kinky sex, and Channon has loads of kinky sex with other people while Jack participates from a distance.
Channon sort of grows a backbone, or at least an awareness that it's a possibility,...but is still waaaay too invested in getting Jack's approval for everything. Not sure how anyone could live like that...but...
Gotta say, Channon and Jack have held my attention for longer than I would have thought. So three stars for that
