Cute little beginner book for children that has for its protagonist a coati named Sid. He's enjoying the sun when he finds himself being chased by a cat (actually a jaguar).
The illustrations are beautiful and bright with great detail. Children will love the adorable characters as they dodge through the jungle. And to go with the story is a simple story with very easy words that are in large letters and a repetitive refrain that rhymes.
The only issue I saw with this book is that it really doesn't end well. To me the ending is just an incomplete thought while there could have been more to wrap up this story.
