3.5 stars/5 I half like Graphic Audio and half find it distracting with all the sound effects and music. I suppose it works to convey the visuals of a comic where there are none and it certainly makes it more exciting. This story was pretty good but my lack of background in the Marvel universe made it slightly less compelling and I felt like I had missed a lot of backstory. That's not a fault of the story in any way but I think this is not the best point to jump in at without any prior reading. The narrators were all very good and fit their roles well.
I always love a Daredevil comic so I'm kinda biased. This is my first audio version of a comicbook and I have to say... I really enjoyed it! The voice actors, the sound effects, all of it made it sound like a radio/podcast production. I will definitely have to try out more like it!
This is a short, fully dramatized book. I love that it is a fully dramatized book. The story wasn't anything special, but it was a fun in the background read.
This is the story of Matt Murdock and Foggy after their time as interns in a law office and before they set up their own law practice. Daredevil is busy at work through the story as a vigilante.
This was a fine audiobook adaptation of Kevin Smith's Graphic Novel. With a full cast and superb sound effects, this is something Graphic Audio and Dreamscape should be proud of. Matt Murdock's world is coming crashing down around him when a girl comes to him claiming she has had a child via immaculate conception. Then, things get even weirder. As the tension ratchets up, and Murdock wonders who he can trust, you will wonder who is behind this whole plot. Well executed drama. Recommended for Marvel fans or Daredevil fans who want a modern spin on an "old time" radio show.
