The whole Saddler family was introduced in this book and each of them is uniquely lovable in their own way. Rochelle is a total hoot and I can’t wait to read her story.
Nicole leaves you feeling gooey, surprised, and shows you that things aren’t always what they appear to be in this wonderful start to a series that I’m super excited about. And you should be too. Saddler has a big secret… Don’t you wanna know what it is? ;-)

This book was so good and I love that every time I read a new book by Nicole I can see an improvement and every time I think now it can't get better and then she does it one more time.
This book was filled with everything a girl needs
Sassy heroine
Alpha male
Office romance
Twists you did not see coming
Single mom
Funny family
Sexual tension so you will combust
And so much more!
How I survived this book and didn't burst out in flames from all the sexual tension in this book is a miracle. When I was halfway through the book I felt like it was me who was denied the release all the time I couldn't even begin to imagine how Machlin and Genevieve were feeling.
I was so annoyed with Machlin I both hated him at times when he was the boss who pushed Genevieve away and I loved him in his sweet moments. I even ended up writing to Nicole throughout this book because it was so crazy for me that I could hate a person that much and then still be crazy in love with him how she did that I don't know but it was amazing.
This book has one amazing plot twist that I have never read before. It was so funny and a total shock when I read the prolog of this book and found out what the plot of this book would be it is GENIUS!
I will say there is no cheating or anything like that in this book even though the blurb can sound like it.
So hurry up clean your calendar, find a drink and then sit back, relax and get sucked in this amazing book you will not regret it.

No secrets here, this book was amazing! 4.5 stars and a definite warning to saddle up, because what a start to a brand new series! I wasn't sure what to expect after reading Nicole's Double Play series, all I knew was that if it was at least half as great as one of those books, I was in for another phenomanal series. Saddlers Secret proved those thoughts to be accurate, I needn't worry when it comes to Nicole Rodrigues! I only stopped from giving it a 5 star, because it didn't quite make me fall in love like I did with her first Double Play book, Curveball, but don't let that deter you - this book was incredible!
Machlin and Genevieve were two characters that I personally found so extremely easy to be enthralled in. They both, in their own ways, drew me into the story and held me hostage throughout. Nicole knows exactly how to write an alpha hero and sassy heroine, and I couldnt have asked for more with what she did with her characters. They delivered sexy, swoon, angst, humour and overall a romance I couldn't help but enjoy.
I don't ever read office romances, and I never bother to pick them up, however after reading Saddlers Secret, I definitely need to rectify that. This book opened my eyes to sub genre that I clearly need to read more of!

Saddler’s Secret was a FANTASTIC start to a whole new series by Nicole Rodrigues. I completely DEVOURED this book in a single sitting. I was hooked from the very start. The story and the characters drew me in and I fell in love with the entire Saddler family.
Genevieve is heading back home after the sudden death of her best friend. She is travelling with a three year old, she is feeling all sorts of emotions and she just needs a miracle. Enter the handsome stranger, who happens to sit next to her on the plane. He helps with the adorable Kenzie and also gives Genn a job lead in Arizona. Machlin is the oldest of the Saddler squad, CEO and all around alpha male. He feels like he needs to sacrifice everything ot make sure his siblings are well taken care of and that they are okay. This man was like an onion. There are so many different layers to him and the more they are peeled back the more I like the man.
The banter between Genn and Mac was fantastic and hilarious at times. I love the sassiness to Genn throughout the story and she can definitely handle herself in tough situations. Their chemistry was OFF THE CHARTS!
This book quickly become one of my favorite office romances. It is a MUST READ and I can’t wait for more of the Saddler squad in the future books.

Oh boy, this book was HOT!
It’s got a little bit of everything that you want in a romance novel... passion, drama, action, misunderstandings, and an asshole alpha.
Genevieve starts off the book after suffering a huge loss, then add into the mix the problems with her mother and this lady has a lot on her shoulders.
Machlin has his own demons that he needs to address, and the only way that either of them can escape for a little while is through each other.
Their love/hate relationship was great! The banter between them had me laughing throughout.
I raced through this book, and I can’t wait for the next instalment!

I read this book as a beta and let me tell you...I am so thrilled I did!
Saddlers Secret is my first experience with any of Nicole's books, but it won't be my last. This book was unlike any I had read as far as tropes go. The "Secret" is impressive and entertaining. The characters are well developed and so very easy to love. I found myself rooting for the main characters, as well as wanting more from supporting ones. Don't worry, there are more in the series, and I can't wait to read them as well as her previous, Double Play Series.

“Saddler’s Secret”—Nicole Rodrigues [5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️] Ok, so I think I just found another series I will be hooked on. This is book one in the Saddler Series and I can’t wait to continue. We first get introduced to Genevieve Langston, who just lost her best friend and is now the caretaker of her 3-year-old daughter, Kenzie. She decides to go back to Arizona for a fresh start, and she meets a stranger on the plane who has been her savior—he calms and comforts her and Kenzie, and recommends her for a position at Saddler Enterprises, the famous real estate company in Arizona. Months pass and Genevieve is working like crazy to prove herself and to climb the corporate ladder. We then get introduced to Machlin Saddler, the real estate mogul and CEO of Saddler Enterprises, who frustrates Genevieve with his arrogance and chauvinistic ways. Then in walks Adam, the intern, whom she finds a connection with in his sweet and charming ways. Genevieve is torn between the intense hate/love chemistry she has with Machlin, and the sweet Adam. Secrets start to be revealed, and Genevieve is faced with some tough decisions. This book was not only packed with a steamy office romance, but also with a sassy, independent female lead, and a total alpha male, combined with the elements of family responsibilities and grief. This was very well-written and Nicole definitely makes you fall in love with these characters and the storyline. I highly recommend to read 👍🏼 Now off to continue the series! 💕📚

Amazing writing, absolutely loved Mac and Genny. The push and pull in their relationship was well written. Their back and forth in conversations and arguments had me laughing, gasping and crying. Nicole interwove the rest of the characters wonderfully, drawing you into their stories as well. Loved it, looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I was really aching for some steamy story with a broody alpha male and some sassy heroine lately and when I got an ARC for Nicole’s newest upcoming book “Saddler’s Secret” I couldn’t wait to dive in to it. And let me tell you, it fixed my itch with a big bang.
This is my first ever read book by her so I’m not sure whether it’s Nicole’s usual writing style, but I really enjoyed this book and definitely will be checking and waiting more from her. This angsty but also a beautifully told emotional story with adorable and lovable characters gives us plenty of suspension and it kept me reading even past my bedtime.
Two strong and ambitious people Machlin and Genevieve juggling with a lot of responsibilities in their lives. Responsibilities that unexpectedly landed on their shoulders, constantly keeping them on toes and leaving no time for romance. But we all know so well that love comes in least expected places and at the worst time ever.
When faith puts these two together we are up for endless back and forth encounters, the bickering and banter is on a full blast throughout the book, but when Machlin and Gennevieve’s chemistry hits the level they’re no longer able to control that’s when your kindle most likely will catch a fire. So be prepared for those steamy and hot scenes as they both are giving in to their lust like there is no tomorrow.
This book is not only about love and through the roof chemistry between our main characters it’s also touching story filled with grief, family and friends relationships, responsibilities and commitments and this is what is standing in a way to Machlin and Gennevieve's happiness. Will their love swim or sink? Find out by reading this amazing book, believe me you will not regret it.

This book grabbed my heart, second one!!
Genevieve boards a plane after just losing her best friend and inheriting her daughter Mackenzie.
MJ (Machlin) is their seat mate on the plane. Handsome, sweet, and good with kids, Genevieve couldn’t help but swoon. But that is just the tiniest scratch of the surface of this book. There is so much going on and honestly, a lot of surprises that I don’t want to spoil,so I won’t go into detail, but when he....and then she...I never saw coming when he...ahhhhh!!! Swooning just thinking about it.
The love between Genevieve and Mackenzie is so beautiful, I love it just as much as the love between Genevieve and Machlin. The sexy scenes in this book are on fire...literally! Every book of Nicole Rodrigues gets better and better. I’m struck with the depth of feeling and emotions that this book evokes in me. And honestly, these characters are on the list of my book friends that feel so real. That can sound creepy but I swear it’s not. Go get this book, and get in at the beginning of an amazing series. Another thing I love about Nicole Rodrigues is that in her series, you don’t have to wait years for the next book. Not even close! If you’ve never read Nicole Rodrigues before, I promise after you read this you are going to want to read her other series. Five shiny star for this amazing book!

This is obviously not my first read of Nicole’s for me. She is a one click author and I will read anything and everything she writes!
I was so excited she was working on a new series and needed to get my hands on it! Especially Saddler’s Secret, all her teasers have been killing me.
Machlin Saddler is the big, bad CEO and all sexy Alpha too. No one wants to get close to him or on his bad side as they are afraid to get bitten. Mac is the oldest of the Saddler clan, so he takes that as a big responsibility. He thinks because he is the oldest that he needs to take on everyone’s problems and help solve them, workplace and family problems. Then he just happens to sit next to a beautiful sad looking woman and a small child on a flight heading back to his hometown.
Genevieve had nowhere left to go and was out of options as to what do with her new life now. Her heart was breaking after such a loss, so she thought what better place to go to start over is home. It’s a fine line between love and hate, which side will Gen and Machlin fall on?
This book was everything, funny, heart wrenching, sexy, swoony, you name it, this book is it. From the first page to the last, ‘Saddlers Secret’ will have you on the edge of your seat needing to know what is going to happen next. I love all of Nicole Rodrigues’ books, she is a phenomenal author who really puts her heart and soul into her books. This was a different genre than the sports romance I’ve come to love from Nicole, and I couldn’t be happier for her. I also love that she introduces secondary characters and sets them up to get stories of their own! She gives you just a taste of what is to come, and leaves you begging for the next book! I am sooooo ready for book 2 in the Saddler’s Series!

From the first page to the last, ‘Saddlers Secret’ will have you on the edge of your seat needing to know what is going to happen next. This story was amazing! It was heartwarmingly beautiful what Genevieve took on for her best friend, and the new life she had to start. Machlin ah the man you love to hate! Arrogant but oh so sexy.. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders but is it time to let it go? I loved the back and forth feisty banter between Genevieve & Machlin it was fire! As were the saucy scenes! This is definitely one you dont want to miss reading! Nicole knocks it out the park again with another great read! 😉

Great dynamic and witty banter between Genevieve and Machlin making this enemies to lovers workplace romance fun to read. I loved the relationship between Kenzie, Gen and Machlin. It added an element to the story that made them relatable and sweet. If you're looking for a creative, fun and steamy read, this one checks all the boxes.

Saddler's Secret was SUCH a great book!!!
There was a lot I loved about this book! This is the first book I have read by author Nicole Rodrigues...It will NOT be the last! (I already finished this and grabbed book 2 in the series!)
Genevieve was a STRONG heroine! I absolutely loved her character! And Machlin...holy moly! I am not a fan of "bully" romances...but this one had one toe in the water of that trope...but it wasn't overboard...if that makes sense??? Anyway...I craved his character and wondered what he would be up to next! But Genevieve gave him a run for his money!!!
The storyline was (at times) slightly far fetched, but it is fiction, so I won't let that affect my review.
I totally recommend this work-place/single mom romance! It was so freaking good! 5 stars!!!

I am not a professional review writer, I just love to read. I found Nicole Rodrigues on instagram and bought the first two books in the series. I have to say she is an amazing storyteller. I got so lost in this book, with all that is going on right now in the world this book was like a reprieve. This book was amazing and I am really excited for the second book, which I will be starting after I finish this review. So in conclusion give this book a whirl, I promise you will be so happy you did!

I really liked this novel and basically flew through it. I sometimes found it has a few pacing issues and the format was off a bit but I loved the storyline and the characters so it did not take me out of the story. I will definitely read the other books in the series.

This is my first read from Nicole Rodrigues and I am thoroughly kicking myself in the booty for waiting this long to read her work! I was blown away and now I am hooked. I need to read every single book she’s ever written.
But first, let’s talk about Saddler’s Secret and how effing swoon-worthy Machlin Saddler is. Sexy alpha asshole with a huge heart? Yes please! And Genevieve was such a fiery boss babe who wasn’t afraid to put Mac in his place. Their chemistry was electric from the start. They brought all the steam. At each other’s throats one minute and ripping their clothes off the next. I was here for it!
Both were also battling some serious heartbreaking demons. But they fought through them together and it was such a beautiful, sweet, and insanely hot journey.
I’m a sucker for a series about a big family. I’m already addicted. The cliffhanger … oh baby! One-clicked book 1.5 so fast! Highly recommend this book y’all. Definite five-star read for me.

Book one in the Saddler Series is a rollercoaster of emotion! #allthefeels- The book hits the ground running as we meet Genevieve who's fallen on hard times and a generous stranger.
Genevieve is outspoken-- never meek. Machlin is a man of many faces, but that of the cocky asshole is the one he shows Genevieve most. This is an enemy-to-lovers romance as Genevieve pushes Machlin to the edge of willingness to show restraint.
Rodrigues does a good job of connecting all the dots. I really feel like the character's connected on an emotional level and a smoking hot physical level.
The book ends with a HEA for the Genevieve but leaves you asking questions about Victoria, Machlin's sister, so book two, here I come!

Saddler’s Secret is book one in the Saddler series by Nicole Rodrigues. It focuses on the story of Machlin Saddler and Genevieve Langston. Machlin is the CEO of his family’s real estate company and has 4 siblings who he feels responsible for after the deaths of their parents. Genevieve is a newly single mother after the passing of her best friend and roommate and is moving back home where she has more of a support network. Shortly after moving back home Genevieve starts working for Machlin’s company. It turns out that someone is stealing money from the company and so Machlin decides to go undercover to try and figure out who the person is and starts working closely with Genevieve. Can they move past the lies and the secrets to find their freedom from life’s pressures with each other?
This book was a fast and fun read for me. I really enjoyed seeing the budding romance between Machlin and Genevieve. I especially loved getting to see all of Machlin’s different sides come out as they got to know each other. This book perfectly sets up book 2 featuring Machlin’s sister Valentina.
