🪷🪷 Comedy. Drama. Action 🪷🪷
“What is the definition of honey trapping? You ensnare... His body... His heart, Making them entirely yours.”
The plot may be slightly over the top, and it may not always make the most realistic sense - considering as a secret agent as esteemed as revered as Red Candy, Kang Shihyeon is prone to make some rather stupid choices, but it still has a lot of heart to it and was interesting, if not entertaining to watch unfold. It's lighthearted action, but still enough to wrangle up the feels and laughs as you get swept along for the ride. 🥹♥️
As you see how one bad ass but lovable loser mf finds himself dealing with more than he bargained for when what was supposed to be a simple Operation Honey Trap extracting evidence from the son of a suspected criminal, only to find that he may have bargained more than just his skills in bed to wrangle information, when it becomes painfully apparent that he may have given up his heart along the way too. 💕🥸
💠 Love Strikes at First Glance 💠
“Why is that you... have become the place I long to return to?”
A secret agent falling in love with a green flag protective ml, first love childhood friends to lovers, angsty break-up with a determined bae determined to not let him go, delicious pining and even hotter smut, it was a fun read. 😊 With some soft-hearted emotions and passionate chemistry, spicy action in the bedroom and even crazier in the field, you can't help but root for these two opposites - one who seems like he's not into men, but seems very devoted to treating and pleasing Shihyeon in the bedroom as the pillow princess he is. 'You're not leaving me..the weekend has only just begun.' 😳 🫠 😳
There was a slight lull in the story during their "break-up", where Hajun searches in vain for Shihyeon, convinced that he won't let him get away again, despite his reluctance to admit how his heart already belonged to him, hence it not being entirely that four star read. 🤷🏻♀️ I also felt the case was flimsily resolved, even if Hajun's relationship with his father was rectified - actually that whole island arc was the pitfall for me, it went on a bit too long for my taste, sadly. 😢

The moon is beautiful made for a beautiful ending - to discover you fell in love with the same person twice proves how hard the red string of fate works to bring them back together. 🥺🥺 Hajun was so sweet and patient with Shihyeon - an emotional roller coaster with a romantic reunion with a calm confession that felt genuine and true of admitting how much he's meant to him - worthy of a hopeless romantic like Hajun who put his heart and life on the line to believe in their love as an eternal one. 🥰🌚💓
🌺 Simple but Expressive Art 🌺
“I want to cherish you and touch you. Shi-hyeon, you taught me how different it feels.”
The artwork was not glaringly jarring, very aesthetically pleasing on the eyes - with normal-sized characters that have some of the steamiest snu snu scenes ever - I swear, that cover is NC-17 for a reason 💦 - while still capturing the intense non-verbal emotions through their expressions that had so much feeling to them. 🫶🏻 Not at all cartoonish or over-exaggerated that also improves as the series progresses; adorable chibis is always a bonus. There's some lovely parallels and frameworks that shine during the action scenes, too - some angles that were really impressive at how impossible they were, but as a team, it totally worked! 🤌🏻

8/10 i liked the story a lot, the plot was good and i liked the main characters. the art was good, the relationship was just hard to love love since it started from hookups. but i DO love that he was doing it for a mission and then fell in love with him, classic it was a bet trope

…i CANNOT. he’s such a weird agent. never seen one as easily flustered as him before, shdkwhjsjajdhqjs. this cringe-fest is just TOO MUCH!!! (in a good way, tho!) i’m only seven chapters in and i can already tell that this’ll be a wild ride.
edit: just finished all the available chapters and i’m in love. <33 definitely another new favorite. i’ve been sleeping on some really good comics lately, goshdarnit!!!

these were the notes i made while reading. thought they were pretty self-explanatory, so i’m just gonna go ahead and leave them here… ‘cause i’ve been lazy as fuck lately and i just don’t have it in me to do this properly at the moment, lol.
either way, i’ve been thoroughly obsessed with this one ever since i first started out! man, i can’t believe it’s over. i’m really going to miss these guys. the smut was RIDICULOUSLY good, y’all. literally getting turned on just recalling it like the freak i am, haha. oh, and the character development’s been pretty damn evident, too! i quite liked hajun and shihyeon’s ever-changing dynamics. they were surprisingly wholesome together… and entertaining. especially towards the end!
anyway, to sum things up real quick: THIS. HAS. BEEN. GREAT. no regrets. absolutely none whatsoever. i’ll definitely reread it one of these days, too! (side note: by now, i actually have. oopsie.)

Red candy, el mejor en su trabajo y la mejor arma con la que cuenta la compañía.
Al ser tan bueno en su trabajo es destinado a una misión en específico, acercarse al hijo de la cabeza principal en la creación de un arma, la cual el gobierno y demás cabezas estan interesadas.
Candy deberá volverse cercano a esta persona, todo con la finalidad de poder recaudar información sobre el paradero de su padre, y los planos de esta arma. Lo que no tiene esperado, es que el volverse cercano y recaudar información, se saldrá de su control, una simple misión para la empresa se volverá su razón de pelear y ganar.
Opinión personal:
Tenía muchas ganas de leer esta historia, en especial por las historias extras, los chibis de candy ganaron mucho mi atención.
La historia en general, me parece muy interesante, la perspectiva de una historia de acción con el romance de fondo, sin embargo la historia se vuelve confusa en cuanto a que bandó pertenece cada quien, sospeche de todos a lo largo de la historia, creo que esto es parte de la escencia de la historia.
La relación entre los protagonistas, me parece dulce en un punto, el conocerse desde niños, y el impacto que generaron en ellos en diferentes etapas de sus vidas es bastante lindo. Lo único que no me encanto mucho fue la personalidad de , considero que fueron muy bruscas sus acciones en algunos momentos.

i read this again cus of boredom and wanted a closure since i didnt finish it properly last time. its rare to see epilogues of main couple actually ended up married but im assuming the fandom was/is so big at the time and the author just had to write the epilogue. both of them are menaces, so down bad for each other, made for each other because of how unserious and unhinged their attempts at protecting one another can be. man resigned, from being a TENURED PROFESSOR, because he assumed his crush didn't like him back, left him alone and fainted on a bridge, while finding out he's a secret spy. wtf. and then he had the audacity to chase after him half across the world. okay.
kinda sad we didn't get to see development of the second ML (can i even call him that?...) though i think him being in love with Candy is so pointless, its just to make him less of an a$$ than what he is presented in the story. ugh. i wanted to like him though, but we didn't get a chance to see his redemption in romance, still a manwh0re :/

This is the second time I've read this and at the beginning of my reread I thought "huh this isn't bad why did i dislike it so much?"
And now that I'm done I remember exactlY why I hated it. The relationship is so annoying. Personally I hate the push & pull vibes , miscommunication and gatekeeping are a big no for me AND doesn't help that I don't like the ML (not for the MC at least). Personally was more interested in whatever the "second lead's" deal was but if I'm being very honest I didn't feel the chemistry between any of them. The 2 is for the art style bc i like it & the colors are aesthetically pleasing.

The plot and the storyline was explicit, well described and executed. Sometimes too dramatic (the action parts was soo good) other times too random/funny. The chemistry of the mains started as a spy and the target, which turned to a honey trap mission. The two mains started out to be straight, and from here started their relationship and developing feelings for each other. With action, jealousy, tension and hell alot of smut - me like!
The artwork of this manhwa is amazing!!! I loved everything from the main focus to those small details! So well defined in each panels.

La historia es entretenida, los personajes llegan a gustarte y les llegas a tener cierto cariño. El final abierto con el personaje secundario es confuso y que mencionen tanto en los side stories algo y luego no te lo muestren , te llega a decepcionar algo del final.
Sin embargo, es una historia que sí recomendaría leer al menos una vez, sobre todo si te gusta el smut porque tiene buenas y repetidas escenas sobre ello.

Some bits were a little 'ehh I'm not sure if I like this or not'. However, I have read far more uncomfortable scenes in other things.

I hope my family doesn't find this account lol anyways this was well... Whole lotta smut damn, kinda felt repetitive but no complains.
Loved the action scenes with Candy he's so bbg but what's with him and being so bad at disguises lmaooo it's weird considering he's the best agent there but oh well. I wish there was more of Unoo and maybe a little less coincidental stuff happening all the time. But overall, it's better than alot of things I've read Soo 6/10
