I worked a lot of jobs in construction, as a security guard, a motorcycle tech (I'm a certified for Honda and Yamaha), as a car technician, a property manager, and in the scuba industry. My favorite job was being an aviation electronics technician (AT) in the US Navy. (I guess my new favorite is writing). After a motorcycle accident left me paralyzed, the Navy said, "You're out of here," and medically retired me.
I moved back to Ohio, got married, had a son, and completed a bachelors in business management. I was always tired of the cold and the snow. It doesn't make it easy to get around when you're in a wheelchair. After years of trying to convince the wife to sell the house and travel, we bought a twenty-five foot toy hauler. I voided the warranty the day we brought it home by taking out one of the bunks and making and installing custom cabinets. Then we spent several winters traveling the Southwest, and eventually sold the house. We lived in the trailer full time for about two years and saw most of the US, except Kansas and Nebraska and New England. We'll get there.
Along the way, I tried my hand at a lot of action sports; skiing, skydiving, bungee jumping, motorcycle racing, ATV riding, and scuba diving. I love to dive, so much that we ended up settling in Hollywood, Florida. I try to dive at least once a week and I'm working on my technical diving certifications. I want to go to three hundred feet.

Non-stop action, relatable protagonists, Carribean locations, wreak diving, guns - what's not to like.

Decent series, too much technical detail
The plots flowed well and the characters were believable. There was a bit much technical detail which I find common for people who write about their field of expertise. It is distracting and unnecessary to tell the reader the brand and model of each piece of equipment. We will not remember it for long not appreciate the finer details, especially if it does not move the plot along. It is also not realistic in some cases. I don't care how expert you are in firearms, if someone points a semiautomatic pistol at you from 10 feet away you can barely make out the muzzle, let alone know it is a Block 19 which holds 15 rounds in the magazine. If a character asks another about a piece of equipment then sure, fill them in on the details especially if it comes into play later.

Good series of adventure stories
A little slow in the beginning but the author picked up the pace and the adventure. Not a Brad Thor level of storytelling but the trilogy developed the Ryan Weller character and should continue to be a good read.

A really good ride!
I love adventure mixed with intrigue.......friendship, bad guys, good guys and those in between that make a good story great. The underwater activities were new to me and added to the fun. A good read......all 3 books

Hard way to make a living!
It was enjoyable from the beginning to the end! It went from every thing was good to every very bad! It still makes you look for the next one!
