I feel like I’m not even worthy to give a review as my mind can’t even comprehend the true message given by the esteemed Shaykh; but I guess that’s the beauty of these texts. Everyone will take something away, all dependant on the capacity of their brain, and how far in comprehension it can go. Some little, but to them it’ll seem like an ocean, not knowing that the ocean they feel like they’ve received from the text is in fact just a mere drop; I feel like one of those people. I’ve started reading the book, and already I feel like an ocean moving inside me. I feel the serenity and the depth of the ocean filling up within, yet I know, I can’t even begin to comprehend the true gravity of its meaning.
I will say though, it’s not a book for everyone. You have to be aware to some extent about the principles of Sufism, and be familiar with its teaching; otherwise, you’ll find yourself lost.
