Good read even if the culprit is obvious from the start
A good plot. A murdered student on campus, the Dean's brother hiding and two very inquisitive females. The only drawback is that I guessed the killer from the opening pages. Wish it hadn't been so obvious. Good characters, lively and engaging. A death on campus rocks the community. It has also fired up the curiously of two best friends. One never left town and works on campus, the other has returned (after working as an investigative reporter) to run the beleaguered local paper (if she can ever clean up the mess and get things organised). Can the two best friends work out who and why? Plus get a romantic life going?
Read for a specific task. Didn't love the characters, the mystery or the setting. The book, though short, dragged on and on and then wrapped everything up in a few pages. Not a fan. Probably won't read on.
I love the fast pace of this book and would never have guessed some of the underlying mysteries that were playing out behind the scenes. Enjoyed the style of this book as well as the inner workings of her mind as somethings are just a part of someone’s DNA!
Enjoyed reading, kept my attention throughout. Susan Harper's books always have that little extra something that just keeps you turning the pages until you've read the whole book.
Tori with the help of old and new friends figure out what’s happening at the local college. Murders, blackmail! Plus a new kitten named Sherlock. This book is a fast read, holds your attention, with surprises.
