I am a sucker for sweet love stories and Zane Michaelson gave me exactly what I was looking for in his new contemporary romance, Ice Queen. Christmas magic and love, what a great combination.
I devoured this book, only stopping a few times to grab tissues. Yes, a few happy tears ran down my cheeks. Santa's heart is as golden, kind and full of love as I'd always hoped. I'm such a softie.
Mr. Michaelson has a knack for adding special hidden gems within his books for his devoted readers. He did it again in Ice Queen and it brought a huge smile to my face. I'm waiting to hear if my friends caught on to this wonderful easter egg that's been planted between the pages.
Ice Queen is a heart warming, sweet story that reminds us that love and romance is all over the world and has many sides. Sometimes love stories are super steamy, and sometimes, just like this book, love is honest, precious and timeless.

This story has the perfect amount of Christmas Magic. For me it started out with tears, then had me laughing, then left me with feelings of hope and love. Zane delivers pages full of emotions in this release. Oh and what a surprise - I won't give it away, but here's a hint: I do love unexpected visits from past characters.
I would definitely recommend this story to anyone that loves the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, those that enjoy a sweet and funny read as well as those that look for an HEA. It is beautifully written and just perfect for a Christmas release.

As another reviewer said how lucky is she to be able to read Zane's books first? But I'm lucky too, because even though I don't know Zane personally I get to read his books too haha. Maybe not first, but I still get to read them. This is a great book for Christmas but of course it suffers from the usual problem that all Zane's books suffer from: you don't get to read the whole story all at once. So now I have to hang on and wait and see whether I get to read the whole story before Christmastime! I really like Kylie, I like it when there are ordinary everyday people who live everyday lives and suddenly something magical happens to them.

Not what you think, it's better!
This was so different than I thought it would be, I loved it! I'm not one of those -iwatchhallmarkchristmasmoviesfordays kinda gals. Just not my thing. Welllll apparently for tv that is. Apparently for books, it's different thing. To ME this reads like of those movies and I LOVED it! It's sweet and sad and funny and SugarPlum Mary cracked me up!
It starts out kinda sad ( don't worry it gets happier) and while I will neither confirm nor deny I may have shed a tear or FIFTY! It was worth it!
Maybe I should give those Hallmark a another shot...nah I'll just read another Christmas book lol.

What a beautiful Story that spans over 1000's of years. Combining childhood fantasy's and magic to0 bring us this gorgeous Christmas Love Story. I absolutely loved it and I loved the little surprise that Zane mixed into this Story as well..... 5 Stars from me all the way

Oh what a beautiful story!
Aww, Zane has smashed it again with this wonderful Christmas love story, which I would actually re-read at any time of the year.
It has the 'feel good' factor in bucket loads, but not without some sadness; resulting in me crying, laughing and smiling at so many parts.
There's a very clever nod to one of Zane's previous stories along with a Welsh element that, being a Welsh girl myself had me melting, smirking and laughing out loud at some of the references.
I don't re-read many books, but this is now one of my 'go to' books that I know will make my heart happy! Highly recommended!!

Wow! what a truly magical story beautifully written, and i couldn't put it down. Absolutely brilliant!! Loved it!
I found this story really moving, i had tears and a lump in my throat, also it made me laugh at the banter between the characters. What a brillant christmas story you can share with your children or grandchildren. I will definitely be reading it to my grandchildren.
I really enjoyed the mention of one of my favorite character's from a earlier book of Zane's, it worked seamlessly into this story!
I can truly recommend this special book and this very talented author.

This is the best Christmas book I have read this year. The story is phenomenal and takes you on a heartfelt journey. The story takes you through a variety of emotions: sadness, happiness, humor and surprise. Loved the characters and the way the story flowed. This is a must read Christmas book.

This is a beautiful story with mystery and romance. At first Nicolas was happy until his world crashed around him and he had to find a way to way to make himself happy again. Nicolas finds Kylie and amazingly enough she finds out that she is the one that can make him happy again.

What a great book to read at Christmas time. Very well written and a great story line. A true love story. The author definitely has a way with words. Enjoyed the book very much. Keep the books coming.

This is such a sweet, magical story perfect for Christmas time, but really can be read at any time! It tugged at my heart, giving me the warm fuzzy feeling I was looking for. The little surprises were unexpected, but I loved it!

I absolutely loved it. I laughed so hard with Mary and Bernard. I cried for Nicholas for his loss if Jessica. Kudos Zane on this book. Definitely a must read.
