Loved Draven & Katrina's story. Great characters. This was a steamy, intriguing book. And a new author for me. I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.

I read did think this was going to be slow. It stated out hot to find out it is a dream. But then you get pulled right in and it gets hotter.. Nice hot read... will look for more books by this author.

Just terrible
I wanted to like this book. The plot sounded fun, and reviews were good. Sadly, the writing is so terrible it became impossible to finish. It reads like a toddler describing what they did that day. "I locked the house. Then I got into my car. Then I drove to school.". It is also distractingly disjointed. The heroin is having clear, long, inner monologues while at the same time screaming during sex. (If you can think that much, the sex can't be that good.). Finally, dumb mistakes throughout bothered me and drove home that this was being written by someone young/needing more education. Like, the main character became a vampire in Chicago 250 years ago....but the city of Chicago is barely 150 years old.
I hope the author keeps writing. Like I said, the plot idea was fun. But the writing is painful and needs work.

25% completed- absolutely dire.
If you are interested in fan fiction that some how wants to be twilight and dracula but with elicit virgin sex- and have never read another book before- then maybe this book is for you. I, however, could not get past the terrible writing, the unoriginal ideas, the dreams and the flashbacks, and the total rip off of better books. Twilight, a book that I largely feel has nothing happen and idealises abusive behaviours, was better than this ‘novel’.
The language used is childish, there are some clear structural problems even from the beginning and the plot was so cliched it was boring. The two POV characters were bland and already in love after a day of knowing each other.
Read Bram Stokers Dracula instead, it is vastly better written and structured, and is vastly more sexually evocative than anything this book offered.

Jack was a vampire. He was also a professor. He had been dreaming of a girl that resembled his old love Alice. Katrina was a senior in college. She had been dreaming of a man that she would give her vCard to; only afterwards he turned into a vampire. When she walked into one of her senior classes there he was; her professor. Yes, Jack realized the one her was dreaming of was one of his students.
Of course, the two got together! But, there were complications..... Trevor her ex for one, her father a vampire hunter for two and of course, yes Jack was a vampire. Fun and exciting read

Soooo wordy
The story has so much potential and was a really okay read.
At first I thought it was just to get into the story, but then I realized it is just the writing style. I had major issues figuring out what was going on and keeping the scenes straight in my head. There were steamy scenes that seemed injected, just to be there. Yeah, I like book porn, but this was just weird timing and too many words to even enjoy those. The characters are awkward and situations get resolved even more awkwardly for the characters' dead-set beliefs, in multiple sitstuip s throughout the book. It is definitely a great start, but needs improvement.

I pushed through this book even though I wanted to stop many times. I just can’t bring myself to not finish a story. This had potential but the writing just wasn’t good. It was broken and choppy and I often felt I was reading something one of my middle school students would have written. The story moved too fast. Falling in love on one page, have a father choose killing a vampire over his own daughter and the pace with which everything developed. The sex scenes at times made me laugh with the words the author used like “epic load” and “squishy sounds”. I lost interest when she had the main male character giggling. I’d skip this one.

I liked the premise of this but sadly it just didn't come through.
The book was over long and the writing came across as unsophisticated and childlike, simply because the author tried too hard and there were numerous mistakes in context.
The story dragged and could have been over in a much quicker snappier way. Shame because it could have been good.

Very Interesting Take On Vampire Love 😆👌😊
This for me was an intense, sensual, steamy, explicitly detailed, love story of sorts. Felt a little like 'True Blood' & 'Twilight' mix. Enjoyable quick read! On to the next! #HappyReading 💖

This is the first book that I've read by this author. I believe that she wrote an excellent storyline. I had a lot of different emotions 😕 while reading her book. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone over 18 due to steaminess I look forward to more

Interesting presentation of the difficulty of “living” as a vampire. Send in a love interest who may be a recreation and you have a very interesting story.

For some reason, I didn't think this had much of a story. Either that or I just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Had lots of hot scenes but still ...🤔

This was intense and passionate. I have always liked vampire love stories for one reason or another and this did not let me down. I wish more would have happened to her father after what he did, but I gotta give her props for giving him that second chance. I will definitely try another one of this author's books.

Katrina was in an alley she was attacked by a man wielding a knife but a man had saved her Draven he took her back to her house and got her phone no. Draven took Katrina back to his place where he wined and dined her they also had a good talk, Katrina wanted Draven to take her virginity and once the act was done Katrina was looking at Draven his eyes were red and then he opened his mouth and Katrina saw fangs Draven growled and he bit into her neck and as her lifeblood was being sucked out Katrina wondered if she was dreaming then she heard a scream and landed on the floor it was her alarm going off. Katrina jumped up looking for the vampire who attacked her but Draven wasn’t there it must of been a dream but it felt so real. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but this is just the beginning of an amazing story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Sorry author. I tired. I really did. Perhaps it’s just a case of it’s me, not you.
But there were way too many typos. The writing was very stilted and had way too much detail on unimportant information, which bugs me to no end. Jack seemed like a narcissist. He killed people who he thought deserved to be killed, really? And he was only really interested in Katrina because she reminded him of his one true great love. Awww, how romantic. Also, the way they talked was so awkward and seemed unnatural. It wasn’t overly flowery in description but it was pretty bad. The opening chapter was a huge indicator that I wasn’t going to get on board with this story. Don’t start your story off with a dream sequence. I couldn’t get past 14%. I tried skimming, but it was still the same. Probably will avoid this author in the future.

This is a story about a professor, Jack who is a very attractive man and a vampire and his student, Katrina. This is a fast pace story that has some twist you will not see coming. Jack is a man who has become the person is against his will but has learned to be responsible with it and knows if he wants Katrina he needs to keep himself in check. These two jump head first into a relationship and those who have a problem are the ones who change their course. 3.5 stars for Bitten by my Teacher by Mirajane. This is my first book from this author. This is a vampire romance with a little suspense thrown in. Katrina is a virgin and has been saving herself for someone special. Jack Draven is a vampire and new professor. These two have been dreaming about each other but neither of them know it. When they see each other the first day of class and instant attraction is there. The book was interesting and different than others like it. I did think it went rather slow. That would be the only issue. It was well written and easy to read.

I enjoyed this book very much. You kept it so exciting and interesting I had to read it till I finished it at 4:00 a clock in the morning. The characters were so fantastic and exciting. I loved the way the two main characters fell in love with each other and how they survived to live happy ever after. You are a great writer and I can’t wait to read more of your books.

The author did a great job creating these characters. You feel as though you know them and their thoughts. Instead of being able to enjoy the love they have found, there are twists and turns that make your heart pound.

Different But Good
I like that Jack and Katrina were having the same dreams about each other before they even met and it was like their destiny to be together despite her family and her ex-boyfriend Trevor trying to kill Jack and tear them apart. I'm glad that Jack was able to save Katrina in time for them to have their HEA.

I loved Jake and Katrina’s story. It was a very interesting storyline and captivating characters. I couldn’t stop reading it until I was finished with the last word. A wonderful paranormal romance story. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an awesome read

Wow! What a great book!
This is pretty much a twilight book but in a smaller version. There was three twist that had me hooked to this book. One twist i knew was coming but the other two blew my mind.
This is a sexy, descriptive, drama story that will keep you interested. I love the main characters and reactions to each other.

Didn’t finish the book
The story was predictable and I stopped reading a fourth of the way through because I couldn’t stand the stiff writing. The sentences didn’t flow and I was forcing myself to read each sentence.
I didn’t finish the book though, so take from that what you will.
