The Libranos: What the media won’t tell you about Justin Trudeau’s corruption

Rate this book
Justin Trudeau’s term as prime minister has been a disaster, but you wouldn’t know it if your only source of news was the Media Party — the liberal-leaning clique of reporters and commentators who would rather take a selfie with Trudeau than ask him a tough question. It’s gotten even worse as the few remaining independent newspapers in Canada signed up for Trudeau’s $600 million media bail-out. You just can’t trust the media anymore, and Canadians know it.Trudeau wasn’t properly vetted by the media in 2015. He slouched across the finish line on the strength of his last name and Baby Boomer nostalgia for the Trudeaumania of the 1960s. The result has been an incompetent government that has hurt Canada’s prosperity at home and our relationships abroad.Canadians know something is desperately wrong — the latest polls show 63% of voters disapprove of Trudeau’s leadership. But with a full-court press from the Liberal Party, the Media Party and hundreds of third-party campaign groups (including some funded by the same Media Party journalists who will report on the 2019 election) there’s a good chance Trudeau will be re-elected, even if it’s with just a minority. That’s what this book is about: it’s really the case against Justin Trudeau. But it’s not about any one policy or gaffe. It’s about the real risk of Trudeau: the culture of corruption and cronyism that he has brought with him, that’s corroding our democracy and even our rule of law. The Libranos is the story of grifters and scammers and secret favours for friends. It’s about sociopaths who don’t hesitate for a second to break the law if it gets them ahead. But mainly it’s about an unaccomplished man who has nothing to offer but a famous last name and nice hair — and how he took power anyway, and might just do it again.

>>EMERGENCY<< We have an emergency in our country. But it is not the planet that is burning, the planet continues to evolve its post ice age climate as it has done for the last eight millennia. It is the pending burning of books, the destruction of human knowledge that is the true emergency. Students of history can warn you of the course of evil kleptocracy rule from the examples in eastern Europe, Asia, South America and so many more going back to the days of Attila The Hun. In the modern era the final act of the revolution is to burn the books. Destroy the truth to enable the ideological opiate to pacify the masses.
One of the first books on the funeral pyres of human knowledge will be “The Liberanos” written by Ezra Levant and researched by the Rebel.com team. This last-ditch effort by free thinking journalists who “get it” may go down in history as the last cry for democracy and the first casualty of the coming censorship.
For those who are “woke” this cry to wake up may seem to be hyperbolic. But for those who are still capable of reasoned judgement I vehemently urge you to read this book before the election. The voters in Canada must become aware of the extent of the Trudeau Liberal Party corruption. The illegal acts, the power of the Laurentian Elites, the complicity of the mainstream media and the perversion of public information are all tools of the kleptocracy that has ruled us for the last four years. The government positions of power have been infiltrated by the friends of the Quebec Elite. We can’t say that we were not warned when JT smeared the Harper government for not being a PM from Quebec. The media continues to not so subtly continue this smear with their coverage of Andrew Scheer.
Trudeau’s efforts to marginalize the voices of opposition are especially vicious against Ezra Levant and the Rebel. The many hundreds of thousands of followers and supporters of our side of the ideology are just collateral casualties in this war against freedom. Trudeau has identified us as the enemy therefore no ethics apply in his tactics. The special interest groups and mafia friends have been unleashed on society and Justin Trudeau is expected to be the anointed “Great Leader”. The velvet glove covering the iron fist of totalitarianism will slough off. The veneer of feminism, concern for middle class, openness and support for First Nations will rub off and the true Trudeau will emerge.
The virtue of representative democracy is that the people have the power to throw out representatives who have proven to be malicious and who misuse power. In a Judeo/Christian society those who are criminal, who lie, who loot the resources of some in favour of others, or who use the power given to them for personal gain would be properly judged as corrupt and unfit for the honour of ruling the country. But in Canada we have seen this power effectively removed because of the sycophant media machine. “The Liberanos” is a rare voice of truth in the Canadian media scene.
In an election we can only judge our politicians when we have true information. But what kind of true information can we get when the media has been paid off by the political machine? The Trudeau Liberal Party made great efforts to buy off our media. The Government topped up their in-house media, CBC, with $675 million soon after gaining power. Then, close to the election, they gave the rest of the media new funding in excess of $600M. This was dished out as bribes based on who supported the government best. It is no wonder that the media union kicked back vast advertising sums in their official support of the Liberals during this election. The sycophant reporters and editors then doubled down using their rhetorical skills to shill for Trudeau. How can we properly judge who will best represent us in the government with this distortion in our information?
We cannot, and democracy is now a sham. If the Liberano government comes back to power with their evil intentions, then they will consolidate control of our information so that we never have a free election again.
We still have vestiges of free press at this point of time; The remaining access to the internet that is not yet controlled by progressives …. and this book. Read it now and it may help us “save the world from burning”. Ignore this exposure of the malevolence of the Liberanos and our children will blame this generation as the Germans today blame the voters in 1933.
***PS Even if you have passed the point of expecting honor and ethical actions by our politicians, the facts of gross mismanagement and pure avarice may convince you that our government has become rotten and needs to be thrown out. In the last chapter we get a clear picture of a greedy, grasping, spoilt brat of a trust fund elite who spends an insane amount of money on luxuries, perks and vanity for himself, his friends and those who can advance his political cause. All funded by taxpayers like seniors, hard working families and disabled veterans for whom he has not got the time of day. Marie Antoinette would be jealous; we should be outraged. Read the book, then vote!

TURDEAU AND LIBERANOS

THIS BOOK WAS ABSOLUTELY TELLING. I AM SURE IT WILL MARKED OFF AS PROPAGANDA, BUT FACTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. TRUDEAU IS A CORRUPT CRIMINAL, AND HE IS PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA.

The media barely touches the surface when it comes to Trudeau corruption. This isn’t propaganda against the Trudeau governments. This is simply a report doing his job. Doing one hell of a good job too

Before the whole Freedom Convoy and Emergency Act invocation, I only knew Justin Trudeau by name.
I rarely follow foreign politics, and I have no ties to Canada.
The media campaign that painted him as a progressive politician and a charming, popular man before and after his election also happened mostly unnoticed by me.

I'm glad, because I'd feel pretty disappointed if I had believed that.

The book is rather short, but gives a good overview of his corruption over the years, like the WE Charity scandal, the Aga Khan affair, the SNC-Lavalin affair, his treatment of female MPs that disagree with him, etc.
It's a shame.
Trudeau once said he "won the birth lottery", it's unfortunate that he used all that potential to become another corrupt politician who thinks he stands above the law and uses taxpayer money for his self-interest.

I wonder if after all this he has any redeeming qualities left, both as a leader and as a person.

Disturbing and revealing account of one of the most corrupt periods in Canadian history. I would have liked a more neutral and detailed accounting of Trudeau's time in office however, I enjoyed the pace, and appreciated the amount of sourcing provided. I would recommend to have the best representation of events, to first read through the book, then reread while reviewing the sources and doing your own research.

A good read but this is just the tip of the iceberg. If the RCMP hasn't also been corrupted due to liberal influence then charges should be laid against Trudeau to prove that our institutions of law are equal for all Canadians.

I have just read "The Librano$" and, although I had already grasped that Turdo is a bully and a liar, I was disturbed by not having seen most of these details in mainstream newspapers. Could it be that Turdo is really above the law? Why have the RCMP [or whatever legal organisation is appropriate] not started formally investigating the Liberals?

One point: I didn't find a lot of detail regarding Turdo's blackface career.

I have known of all this corruption by this political party. Putting it down into one book is just numbing. This book should be mandatory reading for anyone who is going to vote...how these members of parliament are not incarcerated and serving time is only another example of the corruption that the Libranos have instilled.

When Justin Trudeau was first elected, I read his book Common Ground. It was light reading but I wanted to better know and understand our new Prime Minister. After four disasterous, scandalous criminal years and then having them re-elected, Ezra Levant's book was just what the 'doctor' ordered. He makes sense of it all and backs it all up with evidence, documentation and personal knowledge. As a matter of fact, I was compelled to buy The Libranos only after seeing the hidden video on Rebel News of Trudeaus goons interrogating Mr. Levant.
Well wouldn't you know it, the Liberals and their goons are up to no good again. If you believe in free speech, freedom of artistic expression, then watch Rebel News Jan. 22, 2121. Mr. Levant just got convicted - in abstentia no less; he wasn't invited to his own trial - and fined $3000. for being critical of the government.
This is not the Canada I was raised in. Trudeau now wants to set up an agency to monitor what we listen to or watch. Think East Germany and the Stasis or the days of the USSR.

The reason I gave this book three stars is because it is written badly and I struggled to get through it.
However, the information in it is well researched and brings to light (or darkness) the truth behind Justin Trudeau and his 'creepy' government. I had no idea of the level of corruption in the Canadian government Canada is a nation very rich in natural resources and in the West they have an upcoming tech and movie industry. Unfortunately, Trudeau could turn Canada into another Venezuela. This book documents what really has been going on behind the scenes. The Conservatives in Canada need to get themselves a good leader to take Trudeau down and make Canada great again!
Overall, if you are interested in Canada I recommend this as a good research tool.

I am an American. I recently finished Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by Peter Schweizer. I decided to read The Librano$ to get a taste of corruption north of the border.

The book is thoroughly documented. It is not verbose and gets to the point.

What the book describes and documents is a government that is corrupt and completely out of control. The various acts of self-serving elites are clearly explained. The fact that "justice" never seems to apply to Trudeau's allies, is without question.

I would hope that Canadians wake up soon. I really don't want a communist neighbor to the north.

I met Ezra years ago when he interviewed and gave suggestions to a candidate I was working with during a Federal election(we won!). I liked the guy, and I was amused and impressed by the intensity of his opinions. The book was really just a rant about our Prime Minister, but the disheartening thing is that although everything he said was true, it will have no effect on voters. Ezra gave a really good explanation of "gaslighting". I don't think anyone who is not a Canadian will be very interested in this, except those who are interested in how a government rolls on, corruption or not.

Great simple explanation of reality on what has happened since Trudeau has become PM. Its an eye opener to how easily Trudeau or politicians can get away with what ever they wish. All citizens of any or all political sides should have a read and research it's truth because it is in plain sight. Voting should be mandated and every citizen should be rewarded on participating in expressing their choice to lead. Rebel News is a true journalist outlet.

Levant writes about the corruption associated with the Laurentian Elite and how Justin Trudeau has furthered this corruption. While many have heard of the individual pieces as they are not well reported now that Trudeau has "bought" the press, when they are tied to together one sees that the corruption is embedded and persistent.

Since 2015, the year Liberal leader Justin Trudeau became Prime Minister, Canada has fallen nine points, to a score of 74 out of 100 on the Transparency International's 2021 Corruption Perceptions Index.

The story of electoral reform is interesting. Trudeau had promised electoral reform in 2015 and soon instituted a voting-reform committee. He had felt that a ranked ballot system would be more beneficial for the Liberal Party than the current first-past-the-post system. Unfortunately, the committee came up with the wrong answer by recommending proportional representation, and Trudeau abandoned the reform.

Finance Minister Bill Morneau's company, Morneau Shepell, has received $53 million in federal contracts. He has worked towards changes in pensions that would require the services on companies such as his.

Dominic Leblanc is a friend of the Trudeau family. The government expropriated part of the license for the harvest of Arctic surf clams from Nova Scotia-based Clearwater Seafoods to purportedly expand the fisheries to include Indigenous ownership. It gave the license to an entity called the Five Nations Clam Corp. It turned out that none of the 13 bands in Nova Scotia had an interest in this company, but a cousin of Leblanc's wife did.

In 2018, SNC-Lavalin had been associated so with much corruption in Lybia and other countries, they were banned from new projects by the World Bank and slated to be banned from new work in Canada. They needed a deferred-prosecution agreement (DPA), which was not then available in Canada. As SNC-Lavalin had made large donations to the Liberal party, the Liberals hid the DPA mechanism in an omnibus bill. The Liberals then started to interfere with the criminal prosecution of SNC-Lavalin, resulting in pushback from the attorney general and minister of justice, Jody Wilson-Raybould. In September 2018, the Director of Public Prosecutions office concluded that a deferred-prosecution/remediation agreement was not appropriate for SNC-Lavalin. In April 2019, Trudeau threw Wilson-Raybould out of the Liberal caucus.

The book was written in 2019 and since then continual corruption has been uncovered including:

- the WE charity 2020, where the charity was selected by the Canadian federal government in 2020 for a $43 million contract to oversee $900 million for the Canada Student Service Grant, but the decision was reversed after ties between the organization and the Trudeau family, including payments to Justin Trudeau's wife, brother, and mother, and the family of former Finance Minister Bill Morneau, were uncovered

- the ArriveCan app, where the Liberals paid $54 million to GCStrategies which turned out to be a shell company which subcontracted the work; it is still not clear where the money went as the government will not release the names of the subcontractors; a recent review showed that 75 percent of the subcontractors did no work

- Leah Lawrence, head of the Sustainable Development Technology Canada (Green Fund), awarded $217,000 to her own company; additionally $38 million in relief payments were questioned; the government has since frozen the activities of the foundation

- the Liberals paid $173 million to Medicago to establish a covid vaccine manufacturing facility in Quebec city; the agreement failed soon after with the government recovering $40 million - where did the rest go?

For its small size, this book contains a lot.

Ezra lays out various factual events (with references - most of which are mainstream media reports) in which Justin Trudeau (or the liberal party) either broke the law, violated conflicts of interests, or the ethics code.
They more often than not, get away with it.

Like I said, most of these events were discussed in the media, but Ezra goes into great detail so that the full scope of each incident can be appreciated.

Even if you aren’t versed in political rhetoric, Ezra explains how things work in easy to understand language.

This book is mainly about Justin Trudeau, but the liberal party as a whole is a huge aspect to the corruption within our politics and plays a pivotal role in how Canada is run.

If you care to be informed about Canadian politics, or what the media often either barely touches on or fluffs over, I recommend this book.

Rebel News - the news outlet that Ezra founded - can tend to be a bit “click baity” and opinionated at times, but this book is well written and I’m glad I took the time to give it a read.

Canadian Communitarian Dictator.

After reading "China Virus: How Justin Trudeau's Pro-Communist Ideology Is Putting Canadians in Danger" and observing what actions has been taken later against the author, I decided to buy and read about pre 2019 history of Trudeau and Liberals. And it is a pretty big swamp !
Both books are excelent in depicting what Liberals represent now: absolute Kakistrocracy - government by the worst people. It's all a scam. Everything. Government, banking, medicine, police, military, education......you name it.
Both books should be republished as one volume and updated...I will buy it again for future references.

This was not a really engaging book for me. Maybe it was the writing. The author is not a fan of Justin Trudeau; giving a detailed accounting of his misdeeds. Perhaps it has become a bit lackluster to hear about all of these politicians committing political crimes and other unethical practices that go unheeded or in some cases get defended. Politicians do bad things and whilst the evidence is clear, it’s becoming a rarity (or I’m just taking that long to notice?) for someone to want to do anything about it.

This can't be true and accurate ... Can it?
Language is written at quite a low level and reads like basic propoganda. For example uses phrases numerous times in succession like"He's a liar", " because they're liars", "lie to your face", etc

Lots and lots of typos, and a badly structured sentence every few pages. In my opinion, however, this is well made up for by the content of the book. It's only 135 pages, and the information is PACKED in there - thoroughly sourced, too (I don't think a single claim is made without a relevant article attached, often from the CBC). This is not a "fun" read, but it will not disappoint anyone who wants to know a whole lot about Justin Trudeau's corruption.
