This book is a little confusing. I wanted a larger book with larger, easy-to-read text. This is a board book, suitable for toddlers in format but dense with lots of text in small font, so not conducive to storytimes with littles. The lift-the-flaps are fun though. Might be good to share a page to introduce a storytime.

I introduced this book too early (my son was 2 years old). He wasn't interested in reading it at all. He just wanted to play with the flaps and he ripped one of them. Now that he's 3.5, he occasionally brings that book so that we can read it together. He still gets bored half way through though.
