... the one person she never wants to see again?
If you believe in grace, love, and second chances, you'll enjoy this inspirational Christian romance filled with heartwarming do-over possibilities ... and a touch of suspense.
The Restored series is a chronological series. Sea of Rescue is Part 2. Reading these stories in order may add to the reader's enjoyment.
Mary’s favorite stories are inspirational tales about marriage reconciliation and the journey of grace in lifelong relationships. She's currently writing book #12 in that genre. She and Jason have been married for 40+ years. They’ve been buffeted by their share of storms but by God’s grace have stayed together--and still like each other. ;) Whenever she can, Mary likes to include her love for romance, second chances, and ocean settings in her books.
Besides writing, Mary likes to read, do artsy stuff, go on adventures with Jason, and meet her four adult kids for coffee or breakfast.
I liked the first book better and this one just seemed to drag out. It also ended in a kind of cliffhanger and there is a book three but not until winter 2020. I'll have forgotten this book by then. The heroine drive me nuts. Just tell him you love him. It was just silly. And what is going on with his Dad the mayor and Craig, the vile pig? Something is off but I am just glad the hero and heroine got back together. He was a very good man.
Although one part of the story had a happy ending, there is evidently a lot more that remains to be told before it's really over. I am frustrated with the length of the story with so many questions remaining unanswered. In spite of my frustration, the author has a good plot. She has plenty left to write yet.
The characters and this story has me thoroughly captivated. I will comment on something that I didn’t think quite fit in this book ... when the deputy arrived ...how was he allowed into town when C-Mer employees weren’t?
This sweet story of reconciliation and forgiveness is inspiring! I’ve visited the Oregon coast and can imagine it in your words! Can’t wait to start Bay of Refuge!
The story is so deep and well written that details are not boring but instead paint a thorough picture of the world of Judah and Paisley and the family and characters in this tale of heartache, frustrations, secrets and the restoration of love, promises, relationships and property. Ready for the next part of the saga.
A book which shows the struggles that often occur in marriage and relationships. But through the storms, a believer can come out the other side with a restoration of faith, love and forgiveness when they a rely on Jesus.
