Find Purpose

I was surprised that the book was free. I was surprised I would actually like it. The big take away from the book is find purpose, find purpose, find purpose. Does anyone know what they are doing these days? Virus virus virus. Waiting for what, waiting for when. Creativity is now. Thanks Ben.

Useful in multiple ways!

Ben does a great job at outlining a process that worked for his family and really got me thinking and reflecting on my own life. Reading this book, I couldn’t help but frame some of these concepts in a work team environment (my wife and I are working remotely and we don’t have kids). From “The Pitch” vs “The Announcement” to reframing goals, the concepts presented are practical and seem to be easy to implement (at least it seems that way!). I’m already thinking of ways to use this book with my team in a remote environment and can see even more benefits as we meet in person to discuss overall goals for next year. Thanks the the entire Crawford Family for working through this idea and providing a useful tool that can be widely shared in multiple environments. Keep up the amazing work!

Gives great perspective.

I've been following Ben Crawford and his family since they set out on the applachian trail in spring of 2018. To be 100% honest in the beginning I thought they were absolutely crazy for asking their kids to do that. But by the end I found myself a little jealous these kid experienced a trip of a life time so young. I was never able or encouraged to do something like that. Anyway on to the book, since following the family for two years, I honestly figured what could it hurt to read his book. After finishing the book it changed my perspective on parenting, and how I live my life everyday. I hope to share it with my husband so we can work on leading by example for our young kiddos.

Practical and Inspiring

This book was engaging from the first page and a lot of fun to read. It is full of great ideas and ultimately inspired me to tackle several projects I’d been putting off and even helped me to reframe those projects to be a great time rather than burdensome. For anyone who wants to consume less and produce more, this is great fuel for the fire.

First I’m a fan of Ben and Kami Crawford as well as his family. My children are well into their late 20’s but their parenting style makes sense. No, it’s not for every family, but empowering your children is worth more than making sure they they have a college education and a mound of student loans. A very easy and enjoyable read.

I love this book! Great ideas, made me step back a bit and look at the bigger picture. I wish it would have omitted the cussing. It does not need it, but that's my personal taste.
