The thing with FGO is, whatever they throw at Indonesian market legally, I will buy it.
And did I know what's the diferences between Mortalis Stella and Truas Realta? Did I even know what they meant? Was it even English. I. DID NOT KNOW. lol.
And so what I can gather now is that they are drawn by different mangaka; Mortalis Stella is realized in Ichijhinsa's Zero Sum (oh boy, Saiyuki and that kind of manga, no wonder I prefer Mortalis Stella's drawing); and Truas Realta is realized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine.
They would cover different chapter but started at the same chapter, Fuyuki, which confused me at first, like, why did I even bother buying both if they would cover the same stories? We will see if ANN really does its job and M&C is not misled.
Anyway, have I mentioned I prefer Shiramine's artwork? it is cuter!
i don’t usually dnf mangas in physical formats, because well, they are short, i can take it, even if they are not potentially good. but. this i couldn’t take. this was so confusing to read. plot is not plotting y’all. i didn’t even have the slightest idea what i was reading halfway through. the dialogues are dry and not fitting at all. the replicas are strange. the little that i got from the plot is that there is one girl that uses magic (i’m not sure tho) and a human boy who wants to become a wizard. and then they are kinda crushing over each other. and there are such words as master and senpai. and even though she uses magic and he’s not, she waits for his demand to use magic against monsters. that’s so dumb, sorry then i saw it’s a retelling of a video game and that explained a lot. not touching that genre again the art was good though, i liked the few colored pages. the rest of the manga is black and white
I don't understand how this is supposed to fit into the Fate series, it doesn't have anything to do with it. We have a girl and a fox meeting a guy, the fox is jealous of said guy. They're talking about this drift program but there are no servants or anything like that.
I'll be honest I couldn't finish it, it was so horribly boring that my mind kept wandering because nothing in this was interesting at all. Take away that it's supposed to be a continuation of a long going series and even on it's own merits, it brings nothing to the table.
Having played the game and seen other Fate related books I have had no problem following the volume but I fear this volume (although I really enjoyed it) might not appeal to anyone that decides to start reading with this series or they will probably get confused with all of the action and human/servant interaction over explanations of how Masters and Servants work together. Well this whole volume was based on the first chapter before you even get into the first major singularity so hopefully things will be easier for new readers in future volumes. Time to get our Jeanne D'Arc on. :)
