Bad boys are great. Good boys are overrated. Wild boys… they’re just another species entirely. Join the Koda Clan where the men are wild, the women are naughty, and the hot romance is as sweet as it is spicy.
WARNING: Sexy, steamy, and crazy-funny. You’ve been warned. ;)
LOVE ME Trace Koda is a man I hate. I’m terrified of what I feel for Trace. I’m angry. I’m so hopelessly in lust with him my thoughts should be illegal. He hurt me and my family—and yet all it takes is one touch and I forget all the hate I felt for him. He lures me in, enthralls me, and makes me want like I never have before. I shouldn’t be with him, but I think, maybe, I just met my soul mate.
KEEP ME I loved Jayson Koda... once. He was my everything. The sun. The stars. The air I breathed. We married in a rush ceremony not long after he knocked me up, and I thought that love would last forever. How wrong I was. Now I am forced to see him to fulfill a deal I made to see my son. But when I find out that he’s been lying to me all along, I don’t know if I can forgive him. Maybe passion will heal the past? I hope so. Something needs to.
TAKE ME Love isn’t real. I thought I was in love once but it turned out, monsters look like angels and they know just how to lure you in. I don’t have enough left to look at Jacob Koda and trust in his words, but I wish I did. He’s beautiful and dark and he would be perfect for me, if he wasn’t so all out intent on driving me away. I didn’t expect to fall in love with him. Hopefully this man, whom I now see houses a deep, dark animal inside, feels enough to keep me.
WANT ME Love is a fairy tale, and I don’t read. I fell in love once and I lost. I lost my love, my dreams, the hope that I needed to keep me going. When Dean died in a car accident, I wanted to rail at the world. Instead, I raised our daughter and promised to never want more. But when I lose my job and we’re on the road to eviction, I get an offer I can’t say no to. Prince Koda is the last thing I need clouding up my airspace. He’s cocky, smug, and too sweet for me to hate—but like I said, I don’t believe in fairy tales, and Prince Charming can keep his lips to himself. Until… I need those lips to save my life.
SAVE ME I’m an alien. Human. Broken. When this whole destiny thing started, I thought I was in for the ride of my life. Hot men, perfect love. It was a recipe for mischief the likes of which would take me to the stars. It ended with a bullet to the back, the loss of my sight, and a pitying look in the eyes of the first man I have ever truly wanted. I know he’s not all human. West Koda is more animal than man—and once upon a time, I wanted all that savage wildness directed at me.
Wow! What wonderful, wacky, entertaining, unpredictable and unexpected adventures ! No one can predict all the mayhem, chaos, and evil that abounds, as each story leads to the next! The characters are bigger than life, handsome, and true to each other, their mates and their families! Each Koda male meets and claims their true mates while fighting the evil that threatens to destroy them! The mates are all wacky, weird, crazy, and terrifying, but their mates loves them even if they are afraid of them! There is danger, drama, mystery, and mayhem in each story, it keeps you guessing, as each secret is revealed! You feel their anguish, joy, betrayal, and revenge, while rooting for them to survive and right all the hardships and heartbreak each have suffered from one evil madman!
Amazing characters. So.funny. Could.not put it down. Loved the twists and the females revenge. The writing made you wish you were a member of the family. Crazy as it was. Loved it.
I have so many thoughts when it comes to this collection - probably too many. Overall, this is a great set of shifter romances, filled with humor, snark, heat and an edge of adventure that makes the plot crash forward. All that said.... there are issues. Issues!! First, it feels like there should be another set of books somewhere, though searching the author reveals nothing. Second, it needs a solid editing session - though only for minor blips that harm the narrative.
Of the five stories presented, 3 and 4 are my favorite, while I hated 2... HATED it! Mainly because Jayson is a jerk. He may be a Koda and there may be some reasonable explanations for his actions.... but no. I hated him. Reasons aside, he is horrible. Flat out, horrible. The other stories make up for this blip in the flow though, offering a cohesion that kept me reading. The others were decent, though it started to feel confusing and slapped together as the pages dragged on. Vivi smashes onto the scene and suddenly takes up far more of the plot than seemed logical... then stole it straight out from under the other characters. When you get to book 4, that starts to make sense, but book 5 takes that and shakes it lose, introducing even more characters you get the impression you should know... and don't. Seriously, who is Hannah? And WHY is she all knowing? How does King know her? And speaking of King, that boy got short changed in the story department. He's there, and we go through his drama and trauma, but it's wrapped up in the romance of Vivi and West.... while the Alpha fully deserves his own book. Ugh.
All in all, it was alright - if very, very confusing. Answers are thrown at the end, but in a slap shot kinda way, almost like the plot wasn't really decided before hand and the author decided, "Hey... this should explain things" while not really explaining anything at all. Regardless of this impression, there is something about these books that kept me reading - even when I was ready to toss it after suffering through book 2. Maybe it was the metaplot, maybe it was the characters, or maybe it was the irreverent sense of snark all the women seemed to posses. Eh... who knows? ;)
These books were hilarious, and the sexy times were really good. But all the women started to blend together for me. And then characters from Kristina Weavers Greyriver Shifters series randomly show up with no explanation of who they are or why they are all of a sudden involved. I guess these are written by the same person? I don’t know, it was confusing. And seemed unnecessary. Like everything was going ok then she just threw in all this random stuff and random characters into the last book and suddenly it was a big mess, when it seemed like she could have easily done it without all the confusion. But my biggest problem was the “heroes” of the books. They would be great in normal series where some pushing away of the heroine because the man isn’t emotionally mature enough for the relationship makes it interesting, but in this series, where it actually physically affects the women to the point of one of them almost dying, they are a-holes. However, it was still enjoyable and funny, and I would recommend this series, and will read more by this author. (Or Kristina Weaver?)
I was expecting a typical shifter romance book, but what I got was something that was completely surprising! This series was absolutely freaking hilarious, crazy, unhinged in the best of ways (lol!), mysterious, suspenseful, twisted, and full of unexpected twists and turns that you'll never see coming. It had tragic pasts, heartbreaking situations, lots of love and family, and best of all was the HEA's, in their own wicked glory! It's certainly a book that you will not want to miss! I would love to see more from this series, like the next generation all grown up! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and fantastic author.
Koda men and their mates leave you laughing and wanting more
Kira Graham has written 5 delightful stories about the Koda bear shifters and their mates. I fell in love with Trace, Jayson, Javob, Prince, West and King. Their mates Liza, Teeny, Lena, Gretchyn, Vivacious and Nederland. Each one pulls you in and you fall in love with all of them. I wanted more when each story ended. I was surprised and elated with the twists that each story offered. Great reading!
This is my first read by Kira Graham and is will not be my last. Excellent characters, plots, twists and turns. Lots of knee-slapping hilarity and hijinks all around. 10+ stars
Had me laughing out loud. Loved the story and the editing. It was wonderful to read a book that was not full of editing errors because the publishers are using computers to do the work. Thank you
Such an awesome read. The characters are so off the boards hilarious, intense, so believable, and just in your face loveable and wanting them to win in mating for life. The stories just flow from one book to the next. you want to put yourself in one of the herions position and just grab you one of these alphas and just live HEA. That is what a book should do. Great read!
Great book. I like how the storyline stayed consistent throughout the book. There was a few confusing parts when there was the mind talking but really good book overall.
OMG this book has everything. It was a rollercoaster ride. It had laughter muster oh my gosh Kodas are my new loves damn it was worth it definitely. Get yourself this boxset
I was feeling low when I picked up this series and that stopped within 5 minutes. I have taken long to finish reading since I had to keep putting it down to actually breathe. Been laughing so hard I nearly wet myself! The women are strong, fearless and crazy as all get out... I love them! I truly recommend reading... I won’t say more. It is definitely an experience to NOT be missed :)
Wow! Just Wow! BTW- totally ignore the blurb- it never happened!
You'll 'laugh out loud' through the whole first book with Liza and Trace; you'll cry and then cheer through the second book with Tina and Jayson and little Abe (but keep at it- it's worth it); you'll laugh and worry over the third book with klutzie Lena and repressed Jacob; the fourth book will surprise you with Prince, Gypsy, and sweet, little, all-seeing, Emma; but in the fifth you'll finally get the highly convoluted revenge ending with both couples- West and crazy, wild, Viv, and the clan alpha- King and doctor, Neve. Four stars, because we don't get a lot of info on the babies delivered. You only hear about them as afterthoughts and then only some mentions a few books later. I wasn't crazy about the ending, but it was a truly good set. Thank goodness this was a set because it definitely was a HFN continuing cliffhanger, saga until the last two books.
I enjoyed this series for the most part. Though the author followed normal, to be expected, patterns of behavior for her characters, she often veered off to bizarre descriptions of capabilities she enhanced some of them with. It made it quite an adventure following the twisting storylines and the sisters who become mates for the Koda brothers. To be truthful, there were several instances where I almost quit the series. Somehow, I'd find that I had too much curiosity not To finish each book. It's your choice to go on this wild ride!
Koda: A Bear Shifter Romance book bundle was a 5 star read for me until around the 90% mark of the story. This book jump the shark and went down hill from there. Where was this authors beta group? Seriously, I'm shocked that this author would write 4 great stories and then absolutely butcher the last one. Why???? There is too much to breakdown but let me say this, You do not bring others characters into the storyline at 90% and expect the reader to just except this and be able to follow along. Who are these people? I don't know! The epilogue was laughable and total stupid. A waste of time.
But the heroines are lazy brats eh seem to think their only responsibilities to the world is to let their men orgasm them and pump out kids and spend money-on whatever they want. Their men clean , cook and take care of everything and let the women run like uncontrolled brats who were never taught how to behave outside of a bassinet. There’s plenty of immature people who have no sense of responsibility in the real world. I don’t appreciate books making their selfishness and lack of self discipline make it seem cool
These book from the get go were snort laughingly funny. Then there's the burning sheets sexy times. Each book builds on the next character and the story lines were complete, and I couldn't wait to find out how the series would end. It's not a true cliffhanger, but it does set us up for this author's next possible book or series. I highly recommend this series and look forward to reading more from this author.
One of my favorite shifter romance sets EVER. There’s love & romance but the tear inducing humor w/the ‘whodunnit’ element made this a total pkg for me. Lives were woven 2gether thru their strengths & weaknesses as individuals leading to a bonding of family & friends. I can’t wait for the next generation of the Bear Mountain clan (beginning w/Abe & Emma).
I must say that these five books are some of the most entertaining books about shifters I believe I have ever read. I absolutely love the Koda brothers and their mates and all of their family members and friends. The stories are entertaining and fun. I laughed so very much and cried too.I hope that the future of the young Koda kids makes it into another round of books. That would be great!
I loved these books and cannot wait for more from Kira Graham!! I laughed so much with these characters.. one review I read I did not agree with...the ladies were NOT lazy...they were more REAL than some book characters I have come across.
I truly loved how funny, heart warming, and entertaining this series was.
5 brothers 5 stories of bears finding there mates.
A wonderful stories of finding their mates, blending of family. Learning how to exist with each other with your baggage from frames when they were younger..Adjusting and fighting evil coming against the clan & fami!y. A!I five brothers were had awesome stories.. I couldn't put them down. The humour was wonderfull.
This box set was pretty good. I really enjoyed all the characters and twists and turns. I had a feeling in the Teeny and Jayson's story who was behind all the mystery but wow I never would have thought of all that mystery would include. This box set is fast paced and really good. I kinda didn't want it to end.
Omg where to start, to begin with their are no large pockets of crotch grabbing, arm Pitt scratching, southern crawling pockets of humanity in Montana. Even by shifter book standards this was really far fetched. It's the essence of an honest to God B-movie in written form, however it's well written and absolutely hysterical I really did laugh right out loud.
Miss Graham iis great! Her stories are captivating, you can't help but be drawn into them. They have strong alpha males, and really quirky , if not blood thirsty females. You will laugh out loud at the antics and verbal almost child like banter. If you want an escape from droll life GET THIS BUNDLE! You won't be sorry!!!
