The basic information provided in this book is intelligent and helpful; HOWEVER, I can't get past the misused word and/or spelling errors. Reading then instead of than or wonder instead of wander leaves my poor little mind distracted by trying to decipher the writer's intent.
This book is poorly written and superficial in regards to most of the information in it. It does delve more deeply into some memory techniques, but they're commonly known techniques. Some people may benefit from this, but the majority would not.
I almost didn’t read this book, assuming that it would be the same old thing, such as get enough sleep, eat right, drink coffee, etc. But I actually picked up some new pointers on study habits, life style, and attitude. I came away feeling “smarter” because I know I can learn faster and better. I’ll probably have to reference back to it a time or two just to refresh my mind and self esteem. Very good book.
Spelling was so horrible, I just couldn't focus. Also, there's a lot of low-quality blather. I ended up "speed reading" it, and I didn't feel it's got value over basic works on memory (e.g. Dominic O'Brien) and efficiency at work (e.g. Barbara Oakley).
