I really enjoyed this book. I thought their choice of drag queens to write about were great and it really educated me about some drag I was originally not familiar about. The only complaint I have is that some of the statistics were inaccurate and for me, that came off as a bit sloppy and unprofessional. However, this book was so spectacular and I recommend reading it!

A cute book but a little disappointing! I felt like they left out some really important drag artists in favor of girls who didn't make sense. No Doris Fish? Or Trixie? What about Heklina, Peaches Christ, Love Connie or even The Boulet Brothers?? Yet Alaska Thunderfuck was included for "being a brat and making music" okay. Also there were typos!

Only knocked off a star as there are some typos and mistakes that really should have been spotted before publication - it is, however, a gorgeous book and a good starting point to go off and research drag history for yourself. Recommended. Also, gorgeous art work!

Cute and fun read! Learned a lot, especially about the UK and Australia drag scene. Especially loved reading about the queens from the 1950’s and 1960’s.
Definitely need to visit The Black Cap and Chez Michou

Surprised that some made it in while others I feel have done more did not!?

Always love learning more about Queens of the past, Queens from other countries and a little more about those I already love.

Un libro que sirve para conocer a personajes y figuras del drag fuera del universo de Drag Race y que pueden ser desconocidas para la gran mayoría del público.
