Silent Sins (Lotus House #5) by Audrey Carlan ~ 4.5 Stars

Okay so I love Audrey Carlan’s Lotus House series. Silent Sins is book five about Honor and the Italian hunk Nicholas Salerno. The beginning of the book about Honor’s life got my heart racing and I was hooked. Honor seems to have a good life – prestigious school graduate, money and status but she is completely destroyed and empty inside. Honor is such a broken character -- a beautiful soul inside and out and she deserves so much more. Nicholas’s life is vastly different. He came from a large, opinionated but rather close family. Nicholas is ex-military. He is a hot yogi at the Lotus House and also owns his own gym. Nicholas is sex on legs, brooding, alpha with his own demons. When Nicholas laid eyes on Honor the first time she came to his yoga class, he was gone. She chemistry and sparks were instant and he knew she was the one for him to protect and love. Despite Honor’s skittishness, Nicholas sees his future with Honor and he is determined to break down her walls.

I love that this love story has heart. Honor was in trouble, she needed help but no one in her family cares enough. What she needs is Nicholas and his “will not take no for an answer” attitude to stick around and carry her through hard times. The alpha part of Nicholas carries over into the bedroom and of course that was scorching hot. I love all of Nicholas’s family - fun, caring and welcoming. Just lovely people. Sure, if you aren’t Italian you might have to work extra hard, but 5% Italian is definitely good enough ;) I also like the mentioning of past characters that I fell in love with in the previous books.

One part that I am not so sure about was …

***** spoilers ahead ****
*
*
*
*
*

… the way Nicholas come across as dominant in the bedroom. Some parts were definitely delicious – pleasure and pain. However, given Honor’s past history I did not like the pain happening in the bedroom. Seems that would trigger memory … but I understand the act is a diversion of sort, channel the self inflicting pain into something more pleasurable kind ...

Anyways that’s just my own lowly opinion. It does not take away the fact that Nicholas is rock solid, strong, protective, and swoony. I am sure to the rest of the world, Nicholas is the ultimate dominant sexy alpha hero that we all love :) :)

Silent Sins is an awesome addition to the Lotus series. The story has all the right feels – emotional, fun, passionate, and romantic. A standalone, but I recommended the entire series – the previous four were gorgeous as well.

Holy moley!!! This book is AMAZING!!! I received this book as a complete surprise and read it in two days. Being a single mom, reading is difficult for me to do in one day but if I could have, this book would have been finished in an hour or three LOL. The hero, Nicholas, is ex-military which is an automatic turn on for me and is now a gym owner. As any military veteran will tell you, trying to leave behind the horrors is no easy chore if it can be accomplished at all. Nicholas has issues that will not let go. But with 5 sisters and the true Italian family , he still has the support he needs. Then he meets Miss Honor who too is scarred but in a different way, a way that makes me relate to her even though I had a great childhood. Parts of her story just hit me right in my heart. As she grieves for her lost loved one, she goes to Lotus House and then meets Nicholas during his Yogi class. Let go the sparks and intensity!!!!Their relationship has some of the biggest ups and downs I have read in a while. I laughed slightly,  I definitely cried a bit. The subject matter Ms Carlan touches on here has been very emotional for me since I can relate to Honor's pain. Can Honor and Nicholas make their relationship work, despite their individual issues? Read the story and find out.......you will not be disappointed.

neue Kraft und Hoffnung schöpfen will.

4 1/2 Stars!

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

Honor is mourning a massive personal loss. One that is ultimately life changing. And not for the better. When her therapist (Hi Monet!) suggests that she make some changes in her life and take some chances, she ends up at Lotus House Yoga. And that is when Nick enters the picture. From the moment Nick sees Honor, he is intrigued by her. And after she takes his aerial yoga class, he is determined to know her better.

Gah! I loved these two. Honor is not only in mourning, but she is also dealing with parents who are just terrible people, especially her mother. Don't even get me started on that woman! So what it comes down to is that Honor has no support system to help her get through this tough time in her life. But then Nick comes along and he just can’t help himself. He immediately sees through Honor’s perfect persona and discovers the real her. And luckily for Honor it just makes him want her more. His protective instincts make an appearance and from that moment on Honor knows that he has her back. This book is sweet, sexy and full of moments that will make you swoon and maybe even cry a little.

I am such a huge fan of this series! Every couple has their own unique story and they bring the feels every single time. Nick and Honor are no different. Their relationship moved very quickly and Nick had no problem introducing Honor to both his friends and family after only knowing her for a few days. Before Honor knew it, she had a whole group of people who not only cared for her, but also wanted to help her. Everyone should have a group of friends like the people of Lotus House Yoga.

Silent Sins is book #5 is the Lotus House Series. I am loving these books. This one I was not prepared for emotionally. The subject matter is sensitive and deals with abuse and self harm. Honor Carmichael has been through a traumatic past. She is broken, bruised and scarred. She feels alone as she has recently lost her twin brother. She is drowning in a family she feels so disconnected from one that are so mean and cruel to her. This was a beautiful telling of a young women’s emotional journey to self discovery. The growth in her character from beginning to end was huge and so inspiring. Nicholas Salerno is an incredible man. He is a strong Italian man ready to settle down. He is ex-military. He is selfless and sweet. He is an aerial yoga instructor and owns a gym. He is so loving and protective of Honor. I adored them together. He also suffers from his own trauma and the beauty they find in each other to mend and heal one another was incredible. I look forward to Silas and Dara’s story next in Intimate Intuition.

Again another outstanding book by Audrey Carlan, this time following Honor Carmichael and Nicholas "Nick" Salerno.

Hi everyone my name's Honor. However I feel like my name means nothing like it. I’m what people may call a high-society princess. I'm a princess that's on the verge of ending it all. I feel that I have nothing to show or continue my life for. Even though my bank account says the total opposite.

You see the one thing that controls my life is money and status. It's controlled every ounce of my world, unlike some people who want money and status, I want no single part of it. All of that is what took the most important person in my life. That's my twin brother Hannon. Hannon is my twin, best friend in the whole world and now that he’s gone and left me, I’m more alone than ever. No one is here to save me. Or willing to try and help my grief. The only solution foe me is pain. The pain of cutting myself is now the only pleasure I can feel anymore.

I need to find a healthier and more positive avenue to deal with my grief and loneliness. So then I turned to the most talked about and well known Lotus House Yoga. Lotus House Yoga is hopefully going to give me the salvation I'm looking for. Then that's when it happened. That's when I found it in the sexy, tall, dark, and brutally, panty dropping attractive Nicholas Salerno. Nicholas or Nick as he's better known is what everyone would describe as he's everything. Nick is everything that I’m not. Nick loves to live every day to the fullest and outgoing like crazy. Oh Nick really loves his family. That along with what Nick wants with a determined thrust that’s totally unmatched. I can’t but be swept up in all his Italian beauty. Especially as Nick starts to attempt and to show lonely little old me the light and hopefully it will reawaken my desires.

There is just something that Nick doesn’t know about me and what I’ve been hiding all this time. Now I’m terrified and ashamed that Nick will suddenly despise me when he finds out my past. Meaning that now my sins are no longer silent.

Can Nick bring Honor back from the brink of hiding herself away from the world?
Can Honor open her heart to Nick and try and find her inner goddess and enjoy learning yoga?
Can they both help heal each other and find their happily ever after.

Namaste

And we have another winner !!

Silent Sins by the outstanding author Audrey Carlan is book 5 in A Lotus House Series. Every book in the series can easily be read as a standalone.
Meet Honor Carmichael and Nicholas Salerno.
Honor is a broken shell of a woman. She´s a 26 year old high society princess who lives under the thumb of her evil mother. She has everything she could ever wish for, but her life is empty and miserable. The most important person in her life´s gone and she griefs deeply. When she goes to Lotus House Yoga Studio for lessone her life´s about to be turned upside down.

Nicholas Salerno is a 29 year old Yoga teacher, gym owner and ex-military with his own demons. He´s a dark, brooding, no relationship man and lives his life to the fullest. He´s a bit rough around the edges and bossy as they come. He loves his loud and overbearing italian family deeply and would do anything for his 5 siblings.
When he meets Honor it takes him one look and he knows she´s his destiny. She takes his breath away and his brain is empty. Bur Honor is a burned child with deep deep issues and secrets.

I started reading Silent Sins and was immediatedly sucked into the story. I haven´t read the previous books, a failure that I´ll correct now - I want to read them all ASAP. And I had no problem understanding the storyline. The characters are great and the story is a very clear one. I could feel the characters emotions in the words. I could love them not like them, and that I did. The main characters are great, I can´t say how much my heart hurt for Honor and Nicholas, but and yes there´s a but I didn´t like - at all - the therapist´s character Monet. In my personal opinion she´s not very professional. In trying to keep her frienship to Nicholas out of the picture, her reputation and her client´s on the legal side and do the right thing, she fails Honor miserably and is the cause for Honor´s major heartbreak and finally breaking point. No, nope I didn´t like her.
All in all I can´t say how much I love this book, the writing is excellent and the story is captivating. I reda Silent Sins in one sitting, I had to know what happens to the characters. And now I´m gonna go and buy all the other books in the series and ´ll binge read them. I recommend Silent Sins and give 5 stars.

4.5/5 stars

Audrey Carlan has done it again! I’ve read most of her books but the Lotus House Series is definitely my fave. Silent Sins starts on a pretty somber note. Honor, the heroine of the story, comes from a very wealthy family. Life should be good but she is still reeling from a very tragic loss and finding it difficult to cope. Therapy leads her to the Lotus House, where she can find healthy ways to cope. It is here that she encounters Nicholas. Nicholas teaches aerial yoga at the Lotus House. Nicholas comes from a large, tight-knit, Italian family. It’s very apparent that he loves his family and they love him back. When Nicholas and Honor meet, it’s almost love at first sight. Nicholas is immediately taken with Honor and starts to pursue her. Honor is slightly more hesitant because she’s so wrapped up in her grief. When things come to light about Honor, she doesn’t think Nicholas will want her or that she deserves him. Nicholas quickly shows her that her fears are unfounded.

Silent Sins is definitely one of my favorites of the series. I thought it was great. I thought the chemistry between Nicholas and Honor was off the charts! I loved Nicholas’ family too. You could definitely tell how close they all were. It was also nice to check in with characters from the previous books. As usual, Ms. Carlan incorporates her knowledge of Yoga positions and Chakras into each chapter. This is one reason I love this series. I learn something new each time. And Aerial Yoga sounds like it would be so cool! I’ve actually added it to my bucket list! Definitely looking forward to the next installment!

Audrey gives us another amazing book in the Lotus House Series! The story of Nick and Honor touches on some serious topics and stereotypes. I believe this is the best "stand alone" book in the series (You can read this first and then start at the beginning). I love the way that Honor finds her true self throughout the book and find positive ways to deal with her brother's death. Nick is amazing throughout the book especially being able to relate to Honor's pain. He holds her hand vs gives judgement.
The only part I wish I had was some type of closure with Honor's parents, especially her father and his realizations of what happened.

Audrey has a knack for creating intensely sexy novels that are also very spiritual, and make you really feel every emotion in the book. For me, Silent Sins is the most emotional yet.

You really travel with Honor on her journey of recovery, healing, acceptance and love, and I shed my fair share of tears whilst reading this book. Seeing Honor learn to love and accept herself, and recognise that what her mother had been doing to her was inexcusable and wrong, that none of it was her fault and she didn’t deserve the abuse she suffered was heart wrenching, beautiful and cleansing.

Nick and Honor are the perfect puzzle pieces kind of match that I always love reading about in books, they reflect one another wonderfully and following their love story was magical, seeing them realise that they will always be understood and accepted by the other, just as much as they will always understand and accept them, was stunning and hopeful and so powerful.

I also love Nick’s family, the way Audrey manages to perfectly develop her background characters, whilst still holding a little bit back to create mystery and intrigue, is pure genius. And it’s made me love Nick’s parents and sisters so much, especially Grace and his mum. Seeing Honor find her true family in Nick’s was beautiful and just everything about this book seems designed to tug at the heart strings.

And of course, the spirituality and yoga teachings that Audrey lives by, are reflected in Silent Sins, as they are all the lotus house novels, and this adds a personal and unique touch to the series that will have you coming back for more each and every time. While my favourite character is getting her own book in 2 books time (seriously, I’ve been dying for Luna’s book since Resisting Roots because she’s awesome and I really need to read her happily ever after), I’m also dreading the day we get Enlightened End because I’m really not ready to say goodbye to the Lotus House gang.

To summarise- insanely hot, Italian, alpha, yoga teacher meets a woman that carries her pain and grief like a shield. Prepare to laugh, to cry, and to faint more than a Victorian Lady because this book is BEYOND HOT . Audrey has done it again.

Note: Do NOT try and do the advanced yoga positions described in the book. Seriously. You are not flexible. Sit your arse down and just read about it okay?

Stop everything because Audrey Carlan has a new book... Hell yeah... I'm so freaking happy to have a new book from this author that I can't keep quiet about it. This lady had a special place in my heart because she was the first one that I met in person and that day was fantastic.
Her writing is hot and sassy, wild and sweet, spicy and intense. If you want a sweet story she'll give it to you and if you want a suspensefull one she will give it as well. Try to know her work and prepare to be amazed.
Silent Sins is her latest release and it's the 5th book from the Lotus House series. But I need to tell you something first. Despite all books are standalones you should read the other 4 books first. You will not regret it.
This new book explores the lifes of Honor and Nicholas.
Honor has it all, fame, money, but she feels incomplete. She feels frustrated and lonely and on the verge to end it all. Despite all the money she had lost the most important person in her life and she's lost. When she enters the Lotus House studio she can't imagine what's about to happen...
Nicholas is an ex-military that now focus his life in his gym. He's a yoga teacher and a hunk of a man.... Dayum. Can I have him? Since the moment he saw Honor he was hooked. He can't forget her so...
Sweet baby Jesus... What was this? I'm amazed... I'm speechless...
The plot is superb, very well written, super engaging and intense, filled with love and heartache.
Once I started to read this book I couldn't put it down. I needed to know more and more and couldn't stop.
There were parts of the story that I wanted to get into the book and hold them and whisper that everything was going to be OK. Things were happening that left me to tears as well as hot... Dayum those hot scenes....
This book presented us with love, friendship, desire, forgiveness as well as pain, darkness, evilness and betrayal.
It was amazing to have news from others characters of this series, I missed them.
Oh Audrey I've missed you so much. It was amazing to have news from you and this book is amazing. Thank you for this. Can't wait for book 6.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Audrey Carlan, you are an absolute goddess. You have evoked every emotion soul deep with your words!

Silent Sins is so much more than an exquisitely written contemporary romance. This story is about loss and pain and took me along on these amazing characters' journey to heal and find earth shattering love.

One look at Honor and our hero Nick was head over heels. Our notoriously single Italian Stallion was brought to his knees with one glance. He felt the boom. Knew she was made for him. Over the top possessive and protectiveness. Nick immediately craved everything about Honor. And he also immediately recognized that he had to tread carefully around his shy angel. I'm Italian and feel like the Salerno family are my peeps. Love all the dialogue and terms of endearment. Family dynamic. Gah all of it was gloriously written.

Honor was wrecked. Lonely. Hurting. Ashamed. Abused (I want to b%$ slap her mother so hard). Depressed beyond belief. My heart broke for her while reading her back story. The best thing to happen was crossing paths with Nick on her first visit to Lotus House. Their immediate reaction and attraction was a much needed distraction on her road to recovering from the greatest loss of her life. Finding herself and her life purpose.

We have these brilliant, unique characters and a story that is so relevant yet risky to write about. I love when an author takes a risk on a topic that could be controversial. Honor's journey was written with love, humanity, raw emotion and utter honesty. Most importantly is the hope in her healing process. Her therapy. Opening herself up to meeting new friends, finding new joyful activities not to mention she really lucked out catching the eye and heart of a loving, hot as sin family man.

This book has the perfect combination of build up and sexy angst. A fantastically paced story so full of every emotion my heart and soul has capacity for - all wrapped up in this sexy tale. Fantastic read!

Can't wait for book 6 - omg I have no doubt it will melt my kindle.

Silent Sins knocked me down and rebuilt me up word by word. What an astonishing story about a girl named Honor and the pain and struggles she endures in a life she battles to live in day in and out. Honor has never felt like she belonged in the life she was dealt. A life where status, money and pedigree is only excepted. Except Honor doesn't want this life, and the one other person that understood her and was a part of her is now gone. The one person who loved her and excepted her for Her. Although Honor is breathing and moving, she isn't living, isn't feeling. There is only one way she feels, one way to feel alive, and that is hidden in shame because it isn't healthy or excepted. Finally deciding to make some changes in her life, with the encouragement of her therapist, Honor attends a yoga class. A class that changes her life forever...Nick. Nick the Italian Stallion is the yogi teaching the class.
From the moment Nick bumped into Honor he saw his future. There was just something about her that called to Nick and he had to know more about the beauty in his class. Oh and did Honor make him work for it. Nick's charm and persistence broke down Honor's walls and she finally allowed him in. Nick brought the high that Honor needed to feel alive and Honor brought him the peace and completeness he was missing for so long.
Nick and Honor complete each other in such a stunning way. They are both the pieces the other needed to be whole and it was beautiful to watch their love unravel in Silent Sins and heal each other. Audrey Carlan brought to light a really serious problem in today's society with dignity and grace. Also, the importance of realizing ones self worth, and the power it gives us. LOVED IT AUDREY, LOVED IT!

Silent Sins is a novel that's full of love, sorrow, joy, wicked HOTNESS. grins, belly laughs, healing, and wisdom. As can always be found in Audrey Carlan's work, the emotions reach out and grab your heart and teach intense lessons. I felt each emotion and learned from each lesson. This novel moved me so much that I have a quote from it tattooed in a very poignant place.

Honor...I just wanted to wrap my arms around her and help her find her peace even if I needed to help her toward wanting to find it. My heart hurt for her so badly, not just for her foremost reason for her sorrow, but for the life she was forced to live. Admittedly, there is one person I would love to throat punch on her behalf, to make her hurt as much as she hurt Honor. Then on a wonderful note. it was beautiful to watch Honor blossom and become the woman she was underneath all the pain.

Nick...I absolutely loved him! He was so much more than a sinfully hot boxer and yogi, or even a son who loves his family. He's a man working on his own pain. His fixation on Honor made me grin so widely, though! What made me love him so much was not just because he's a hot-blooded Italian Stallion, but his motive for being with Honor was to help her heal as well as let her heal him. It's really a thing of beauty.

Could I love Silent Sins more than I do now? Not possible. It hit me harder than I had expected, to the point that I found myself with tears on my face and an ache in my heart. I found so many things in common with both Honor and Nick. I needed them to heal and be happy. And did Audrey deliver? She always does and I am very grateful.

Received an ARC for an honest review.

Oh Honor and Nick...how I love thee. Ever since Moe's book, I was wondering who was going to be the one for Nick and I wasn't disappointed. Nick's family is a very loud, very close bunch and they have nothing but unconditional love for one another. Honor's life couldn't be more different. Coming from the very top of the upper class, her parents always expect absolute perfection, and will let her know if she's not meeting expectations. Because of her terrible home life, Honor has sought to find control in any way she can get it and it's not a healthy outlet. (I won't lie, that opening scene was hard to get through. I can't remember if the book as a self-harm TW but it probably should.)

That's when she seeks out Moe's help professionally and Moe directs her to Lotus House. When Nick sees her, he's done for. He knows that she is it for him and slowly, but surely, he starts to bring her out of her shell. His overly friendly sister helps, and before you know it, she fits right in with this crew.

There were a few things I was a little unsure of (listed below), but not enough that I don't want to back and reread this right away. And I think my favorite was those little glimpses of Nick's family. They're loud and crazy and way overly involved, but they're great.

I love the Lotus House books. Carlan brings you right in to this environment and I find myself thinking about finding a yoga studio by me...but then I think that it wouldn't be Lotus House and I'd get upset.

----SPOILERS BELOW ----

For starters, it is a little insta-lovey. In this situation I didn't mind, but fair warning. Also. I still don't know how I feel about the whole, alternate kind of pain thing. The scenes were definitely hot, don't get me wrong, but I was wondering if that was a healthy outlet? I know nothing about this, so I really can't speak to it, but perhaps BDSM is actually a recommended outlet for individuals who self-harm? I don't know.

As the 5th in a series of Interconnected (and sequential, so there is spoiler potential), Silent Sins lets us get to know part-time instructor, Nick, and his love interest Honor. Honor and Nick both come to us wounded. Watching them figure out how to help themselves and each other was heartwarming.
Fast paced, with good characters and an entertaining supporting cast, I really did like Silent Sins.
But, there was one issue that kept this from being a full 4 star read for me and that was the issue of Honor's self care. The baggage Honor brings to the story is incredibly heavy and I truly appreciated the fact that she seeks professional help and begins to heal. That effort is even the thing that lead her to find Nick in the first place via a class at Lotus House. Unfortunately, evidence of her continued treatment dwindled to nothing shortly after she and Nick took some very serious steps together. I realize this is a romance and the focus should be on the relationship, but a healthy relationship requires healthy partners. The issue of Honor's relationship (or lack there of) with her parents was also left unresolved.
Overall, this was a good book and I am looking forward to what happens next for the Lotus house crew.

This is number 5 in the Lotus House series but is a stand-alone read. I have not read the previous books and did not feel like I was missing anything about this story.

This is a slightly darker book than I was expecting and I’m not going to lie I almost quit reading after the first page due to the female lead intentionally cutting herself, but I persevered and then became completed captivated, reading the book in less than a day. Nick, a smokin’ hot man (with an adorable Italian family!) who has lingering issues after serving in Afghanistan, runs a health club featuring boxing and yoga. At the club he encounters Honor, an intelligent, wealthy young woman who is completely lost due to a death and serious issues with her parents. There is immediate chemistry and that first kiss?? I felt that all the way down to my toes! The passion between the characters is what you’d expect from a Carlan book – prepare yourself for some total alpha male dominating sex (in some interesting places 😉). Honor has a very hard journey to go through to find herself & come back to life; taking us on a rollercoaster of emotions. There are lots of highs due to a wonderful support group of friends, and of course leading the way is Nick as her protector and guide, but be prepared for a few lows too. It's all worth it though to watch them find their HEA!

I will definitely be going back to start the series from the beginning!

Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. First and for most I would have to say I have never read any of the other books in the Lotus House series. But after reading this one I definitely will be reading the first ones in the series and the ones following this one. Book 5 in the Lotus House Series is about Nick and Honor story. It is full of emotion from the very first page of the story and they continue through the whole story. I felt like I was right there in the story with Nick and Honor and almost like a movie I could see it playing out in my head. Without giving away too much of the story you are going to see the struggles Honor goes through and overcomes. She is working on overcoming her struggles when she meets Nick. Nick helps her in any way possible to overcome what she has been through in her life. So if you are looking for a story full of emotion with a happy ending pick this book up today you won't be disappointed you did.

I cannot get enough of this series. Each story, each couple, touches me. I find myself so caught up in them, captivated by them.

With each book, Carlan brings us on an emotional and fulfilling journey. The way she is able to bring these characters to life is nothing short of inspiring. Nick and Honor are complex and ever-evolving and I completely fell in love with them.

Silent Sins is a story filled with heartache, love, and pain. A story of rebirth and finding the person that makes you your best self. This is my favorite installment yet! Everything about it really stood out to me and I found myself lost within the pages, hoping it wouldn’t end. While I’m eager for the next couple, I’m even more excited to get glimpses of these two in the next book.

WOW - just WOW!
I got immersed in the story after reading the first paragraph and read this 5th book in Lotus House series in one sitting. Please note that while a part of series, this book can be easily read as a stand-alone.
From the very beginning Audrey takes us on an emotional journey through the heroin’s insurmountable sorrow and emotional pain. Honor Carmichael is dealing with the tragic loss of the most important person in her life, she is a beautiful soul, troubled and hurting with a family that does not lack means but has no room for emotion and compassion.
At 26 Honor in trapped in a “gilded cage” at her parent estate and despite her tremendous wealth and prestigious education she has no ambition in life, no goals or desires to map out her future.
Enter Nicholas Salerno, the charismatic gym owner and Yogi at the Lotus House studio. At 29, Nick appears to be the happy go lucky guy with his own business, great friends and large, caring wonderful family. However as the oldest of six children and the only son, he is starting to feel like something may be missing from his life and longs to find the special person that was meant for him. As a veteran of US Armed Forces, he battles demons of his own and relives the atrocities he witnessed while deployed.
When Honor signs up for Nick’s aerial yoga class and he sees her for the first time, his future flashes in front of his eyes and he knows that she is his destiny!
Nick and Honor’s story is wonderfully written, we get to revisit with characters we love from the previous Lotus House books and witness the power of encouragement, love and positive influence.
As Honor and Nick navigate through the intricate circumstances of their relationship we are captivated by their love story and journey with them as they find their happy ending.
Definitely a MUST read!!

This story about Nick, the Italian Stallion, and Honor the broken rich girl will change you. It is not what you think and that makes this book even more special. Your mind and heart will go through a roller coaster ride as these two experience trama, loss, desperation, loneliness, intense pain, forgiveness, acceptance, joy, and unconditional love.
Audrey Carlan has captured the essence of two people who are broken halves that make each other whole. This is a captivating journey of learning to love yourself and your life with someone else through the sins you think will devour and destroy you. Audrey, this is a gut wrenching, exquisite and soulful story that exudes passion from beginning to breathtaking end!

Firstly I would like to say thank you to Audrey for yet another amazing book!! This book was my all time favourite from all the lotus house books so far!!!

This is Honor and nicks story.

Honor is completely lost in her life after suffering the loss of her twin brother. Her parents are very wealthy and are all about the show. Her mother detests her and her father has never shown much interest apart from when she is expected to attend events and social gatherings. The only way she knows how to escape her life is to self harm, she sees no future...

Until she steps out of her comfort zone and takes an Ariel yoga class... enter Nick!! The sexy stud of an Italian man and boy is he all man!!! He clocks Honor immediately and is drawn to her in a way he has never been drawn to any woman before or probably ever again!!! But will his rule of never date clients stop him from taking this leap? Paaa yea right lol.

I won’t spoil it with any more info but it’s safe to say this this book will leave u begging for more and more!! There are lots of ups and a lot of downs but believe me when I say it’s a must read!!!

Can’t wait for the next instalment!!!

Thanks again for an amazing 5* read xxxxxxx

One of the things I love about Audrey’s books are her complex, well-developed characters and blazing romance. Honor and Nick’s story was no exception. From the very first page, I was sucked into each of the character’s realties and transported through the lessons they had to learn right alongside them. All of her stories are a joy to read, and this series in particular has found a special place on my virtual shelf. If you enjoy hot romances with relatable characters and rich family experiences, this one is definitely for you!

OMG! This is book 5 in the Lotus House Series about Honor Carmichael and Nick Salerno Jr. He is 100% Italian born into a family that has Sunday dinner traditions that are AMAZING! Honor??? Not so much with family traditions. See she is a twin to her brother who was gay. His name was Hannlon. Honor took his death hard. She started cutting herself and it left scars which she covered up with henna art. Ok she is asked to see a doctor and she does she sees Monet Hart. Moe helps her to a point...Nick is a yoga instructor he teaches Aierial yoga and he also owns a gym...a boxing gym. He falls for Honor the MOMENT he sees her and her him kind of...they start dating and things kinda get HOT! It hits you in the feels there were ugly tears not gonna lie. Honor ends up hurt and Nick is upset but the reason will have you in tears! Things do work out but there is one thing in their way..her mother Judi Gannon Carmichael!! When I say bitch?? I say BITCH!! She is a mean lady that you want to punch!! And Honor needs to end it with her...she is abusive and hurtful and does whatever she can to get Honor to obey but Honor does good. Real good. This has it all, love, family, heart, tears, and most of all FRIENDS!!!! Love this BOOK!!!!!
