USA Today Bestselling author Adriana Locke brings laughter and love in this friends-to-lovers, small town romance.
Love is crazy.

Peck Ward, the sweet, small-town mechanic, isn't sure it's for everyone. Least of all him. His life is chaotic enough without adding the pressure of a relationship. Besides, unrequited love is a real thing and he's kind of over it.

This works out perfectly until a certain someone throws a wrench--pun intended--into his plans. As they go from adversaries to friends to possibly something more, things get complicated. After all, they know how this story ends. It's not with them together.

His easy grin is enough to win her over. Her unabashed personality does him in. But are they ready to accept the fact that sometimes you don't find love where you're looking for it? Sometimes you find it in the most unexpected, craziest places.

I just finished this book at 7:36 p.m.
I got it at 3:00 p.m. today.
Let that sink in for a moment...

Peck Ward doesn't do the whole "dating" thing. Ever. Never has, never does. He has eyes for one girl, and one girl only. He promised to watch out for her and love her until the day he died. And that's what he does. But whenever he tries to hedge the idea of marrying her, she blanches and always keeps what they have alive and hot as a bonfire in the middle of summer. So why does a pair of little feet with grass-green painted toes confront him while he is under a truck and starts blasting him about how he treated her best friend?

Because the face attached to that beautiful body makes his heart race and he loves the way she asserts herself so easily without even trying. She is fabulous. She is a spitfire. She is absolutely the woman that has Peck thinking twice about love and moving forward with his life- settling down and making a home.

Who is she? Molly? Navie, the adorable fiery barhand that helps Machlan at "Crave?" Or is it someone new?

I won't tell. You'll have to read it for yourself.

This book is FABULOUS!! ^_^ <3

I love a good small-town romance, and Adriana Locke does them so well. I haven’t read all the books in The Gibson book series (I need to rectify that asap) but the ones I have read, Peck has always been the guy that’s caught my attention the most. I couldn’t wait to read his book and I enjoyed it so much!

Peck was an absolute gem. The best part of this book and lived up to all my expectations. I loved how sweet, caring, and fun loving he was. His relationship with his Nana was my favorite thing and I loved how he was there for everyone in his life. He’s got a lot of friends and family he loves, but there’s been no one he’s truly given his heart to. Finding that love was a beautiful thing!

For now I know the author wants to keep the heroines identity a secret, so this review is a little on the short and sweet side, but I was so happy with how this book turned out! I loved the hero, loved the heroine, and loved the friendship/family dynamic. I can’t wait to go back and catch up on the other Gibson books I’ve missed out on! If you’re looking for a small town, sexy and sweet romance, pick this book up!!

Wow! Adriana Locke has once again delivered a fun, sexy and swoon-worthy story! Peck Ward is here and his journey to falling in love is Crazy! I enjoyed every moment of his story, fell in love with the banter between Peck and his love interest and was rooting for them every step of the way! I laughed, I teared up and more importantly, I fell in love with this couple. I truly loved being back in Linton and getting to see some familiar faces as well! I highly recommend grabbing the entire series and falling in love with Peck and his family <3

Whiskey ⭐️

“My chest rises and falls as I think about her. She’s dangerous. I feel the fire every time I’m around her. It’s like I’ve drunk a fifth of whiskey. My insides are squeamish, my body heated, and all I want to do is enjoy myself.”

That’s exactly my feeling after reading this book. 🔥 No question about it, Adriana Locke is one of my favorite authors out there. I love her warm and fuzzy small town romances, witty style of telling a story with just the perfect dose of smut and sexy moments. ❤️

“Peck is an anomaly, an unexpected layering of a man who is so much more than he appears. At first glance, he’s your typical good ole boy. An adorable class clown type who can’t be serious if he tried.” But he’s so much more than that. A little broken inside by his own parents, but still that kind of man you wish for as a best friend, husband and everything else in between.

Dylan is his perfect match. She comes to town with similar family issues, this small firecracker that stands no chance when she meets the uber sexy, funny and trust worthy man that’s Peck. Their first encounter made me laugh so hard, I had tears rolling down my cheeks.

“The simple smile on his face matched with the layers of sexiness below is a complicated vision. Add in that he’s crushing on someone else and I’m his renter for a while, and that leaves me in a conundrum.“

Their chemistry is off the charts, y’all! Mrs Locke successfully managed to make me stew with Peck’s and Dylan’s slow dance. Everything between them started bubbling right from the beginning and basically you kept waiting for that explosion.

In case you haven’t figured it out, Hell Yes I recommend this one! But that’s a given with Adriana Locke’s books, as far as I’m concerned. I think I go on facebook everyday just to read her #LockeTales, which are just as funny and awesome as her novels.

Crazy Peck is the last one of the Gibson Boys and though it’s part of this amazing series, you can definitely read it as a standalone.

4 NEVER LEAVE CROWNS

Oh, my man, Peck. I have been waiting for Peck's since book one of this standalone series, and the man himself did not disappoint.

Peck is just charismatic. Kind, compassionate, funny, sexy, he is everything a good romcom, with a tiny bit of feels, should be. I could never resist him in the other books, and is IT factor is punched up that much more when he is the main protagonist of the story. I just couldn't love him enough.

I don't want to give much away about the heroine, because of spoilers, but she was really the perfect match for Peck. Her conflict was unexpected, and I really liked that Adriana Locke gave us something a bit different with Peck's leading lady.

The plot was entertaining, sweet, with a touch steam. It didn't follow the story line that I anticipated, and I was really okay with that. What was lacking a bit for me was the punch. The big climax of the story was a bit anti-climatic. The resolution as a result left a bit to be desired for me. Not that it wasn't enjoyable, as it actually fit well with the characters and what their internal motivations were throughout the story. I just prefer my stories to have a bit of a punch to them. something a bit more powerful.

Adriana Locke and her Gibson Boys continue to be a source of endless entertainment. I love this family together and apart. Crazy is truly what a small town romance should be.

In respect to the author who wants to keep the heroine a secret, I'm keeping this review super short. But I still have lots to say about our hero, Peck. Peck gave me all the happy sigh feelings! Through this whole series he's been the crazy brother, but he's also been the super sweet one and getting to see that in his own book was amazing. The romance and cuteness that came from him and his leading lady was intriguing and it kept a smile on my face the entire time I was reading. This book can be read without reading the previous books but I do think that the other Gibson men will intrigue you and make you want to go back and read their stories if you haven't already.

ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review.

PECK! FINALLY!

I don’t even know how to write a review for this without giving something away, so I’m going to have to keep it vague.

Peck is here! Finally! Which means I got all of my questions answered. Peck looks without leaping when he’s in love, and I just adore that about him, especially considering all the things we learn about in this book, like that his abandonment issues hide behind a bright smile and twinkling eyes. That’s probably the biggest takeaway here: We all have issues. It’s not about finding someone with a clean slate who doesn’t have issues. It’s about finding someone who’ll get dirty with you when you need to figure it all out.

Oh, Peck.

I have loved Peck for so long. I have been dying for his story. I loved his cheeky charm and devil-may-care attitude and the way he was such a solid, strong presence in all of the other stories.

But, I feel like that’s not the Peck I got here. And while I appreciate that the Peck we got in this story went a whole lot deeper than anything we’ve seen before, I felt like it did so at the expense of some of that charm and devilry I had already fallen so hard for.

Things started really strong. I adored the meet-cute. I loved the build-up – the long fuse that sparked and fizzed with the promise of something really explosive. But then it sort of dropped off for me. I didn’t feel the chemistry the way I really wanted to. I didn’t get as much of that cheeky adorableness that I expected. It just didn’t feel like how I expected it to feel and my heart didn’t quite wrap itself around this romance the way I wished it would.

That said, it’s always a good time with the Gibson Boys (and Wards). I love this crazy family and the small town that surrounds them. For me, the teasing and tough love among the boys were an absolute highlight of this story. There’s no question that Adriana Locke can write the heck out of a loving and lovable family, and that’s absolutely where the rewards lay within Crazy.

In the end, Crazy wasn’t my favorite of the series, but it was still a fun, sweet read and you definitely don’t want to miss out on a single moment with this amazing family! ~ Shelly, 3 Stars

Oh, Peck, Peck, Peck. I’ve been Crazy for your story since the very beginning of this terrific The Gibson Boys series. Dying to know who you finally found to love and be loved by.

And I guess my anticipation for an epic kinda love, a romance for the ages, just was too much. Because while I adored the super fun meet-cute, the crazy, witty snarky banter, and the hot and sexy times, there was just something missing in this friends-to-lovers romance. The slow burn just kinda petered out mid-stream. The story picked up with a vengeance toward the end, but I had to push myself to get through a bit of the middle.

Don’t get me wrong, here. Crazy is a fun, smart read for the most part. There’s a whole lot to really like about it especially the hilarity between Peck and his brother and cousins. Those boys know just how to rile each other up! And love and protect each other fiercely—even if that love and protection is through teasing and torment.

And while Crazy fell flat for me, it doesn’t mean I don’t still adore the rest of the Gibson gang, Peck especially. It just means that Crazy isn’t my favorite of the series, but there’s still plenty to like. ~ Missy, 3 stars

DNF

This book is indeed crazy. Crazy boring. This is my second try with Miss Locke. In Tangle, i also shelved it under DNF. Miss Locke has this grab ur attention opening to her story. In Crazy, the mistaken identity is quite cute and promising.

Then it went downhill. Really downhill. Bad! The whole story is about 2 characters who actually attracted to each other but they keep on denying it. The whole book. The foreplay is cold. The sex is even colder. I just can no waste my time for 8 hours plus just to listen and wait for these 2 finally get together.

You know the saying; save the best for last? Well, Peck's story is most definitely the best of the Gibson Boys Series. His story is brilliantly epic. It's full of family and friends, a little bit of angst, a few emotional tears, laughter and lots of love. This mechanic has completely stolen my heart! Shhh, don't tell the other boys that! I won't give spoilers, but highly recommend that fellow readers one-click this novel. You definitely won't be disappointed and I encourage you to have a box of Kleenex nearby.

Adriana writes books, but not just books - she writes families. I want so badly to be a part of the Gibson/Ward family that I am willing to marry a fictional man who showed up as a supporting character in the first book of this family series back in 2017. This man was so charismatic and charming in each subsequent book that I have had mood swings based on updates of the Crazy release (I'm not kidding, ask my husband). Ok, so now you know my levels of crazy, know this, I love this man even more after his very own book. I didn't think it possible, truly. He's everything a girl could want in a man, sarcastic, blue-collar, flirtatious, svelte with a great big huge thumping heart. The man put everyone before himself until he finally sees what everyone has been telling him all along. The right woman came along at just the right moment, and forever never looked so good.

Not crazy good.

SPOILERS!!!!!! DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER!!!!

Crazy was not anything special. For those of you who are wondering if Peck ends up with Molly, No he does not! Thank you AL! That's the only reason I gave this book 3 stars! There's nothing new in this author story telling, her characters meet with in a couple of weeks time they are in love. I would love to suggest if the timeline is going to be short....make the epilogue years in the future. And don't get only superfans to preview....they don't give honest feedback or this author doesn't care her books are substandard.

I received an arc copy of this book on release day, howver it is also a Kindle Unlimited book so I also purchased the book thru KU and I decided to read the KU version of the story instead of the arc.

This book is the last in the series about the Gibson Boys. They all were pretty wonderful and I have enjoyed every story in the series. THis is the last book and featured favorite cousin Peck who has always been a bit cray and wild in this series but also this amazingly kinda and wonderful guy. His one quirk has always been his love for the town slut Molly and this book explores what that really means and why he felt that way.

The author tried to keep the names of the characters in this story very hush hush so I am not spoiling any of that. I will tell you this story introduced some new Gibson Boys and some of the supporting characters and I hope we can see them again in another series or that this series will be extended because I have loved every single story.

This was a wild, crazy and fun story. I really couldn't help smiling and loving every minute of this story. I f you love fun and sweet stories then you will love this story as well. While this story can stand alone, you really should read the series in order so you really get to know all the characters and fall in love with this small town romance. They ALL are in this story and so if you don't it can get very confusing.

Nana is fully featured in this story and I loved every scene she was in. In fact I felt she enhanced this story so much in that she understands love and life so well and her insights were so important to the characters in this story. This story was one the author spent a lot of time on and you can tell how much she loved these characters.

Peck is many things but the one thing above all else is…he is worth the wait!
I was desperately pacing waiting on this hitting my kindle and once I started it didn’t take long to plough my way through it.
It was simply put too good to put down.
I have loved the family that the author has created, the depth of character that she writes is quite simply enchanting, I was totally captivated by a guy that I get the feeling has fought his way forward and demanded his own story be told.
Forgive me if I concentrate on Peck but if truth be told he is all that mattered to me, the man was everything I wanted and more, he was funny, he was flirtatious and he was sexy as sin but boy did that man love with everything he had. His heart and soul were so pure that I could barely blink back the emotion that the author poured into him.
A man that found his woman when he least expected it and boy, oh boy was she the perfect woman for him. She matched him in every aspect and with Peck she had a man that she could not only love but adore.
A partnership made in literary heaven, Peck is my man and I quite simply loved him!

3-3.5 - I liked this one but it wasn't my fav. Loveddd peck and everything about him but didnt love dylan. She was just ok. I feel like it was too insta esp at the end with the proposal and wanting to have a baby. I mean wayy to fast. I also didnt like the advice that nana gave to make dylan want to be nicer to her mom. No way should her mom keep asking her for money. That doesnt mean shes actually asking how she is and reaching out to her. That just means her family is using her. I also would of liked if Peck was brought in as part owner of the shop. I think that would mean a lot to him and he deserves it.

The best kind of crazy

The wait is finally over! Been so excited to find out what lucky lady gets Peck’s heart and was not disappointed. Loved how they met and how comfortable they were together (after a laugh out loud mix up). Adriana knows how to create a world and characters that feel real and make you want to just live in it and around them.

This was so sweet. I was excited for Peck’s book and I have to say that I’m not disappointed. He was amazingly kind, supportive, and endearing in the previous books, so it was nice to see him get his own happy ending.

I appreciated that he and Dylan were similar in that they were loyal to the max and was always down for helping people. They both gave each other the 100% that they never got back from anyone else. I also adored the cute bantering and teasing manner between them. It was just really good vibes between them. They had a sense of connection and ease between them, stemming from a solid friendship to begin with.

I also thought that Adriana Locke did a good job of handling the Molly thing. I thought it might get sticky, but Peck was reasonable and knew who he wanted. In addition, I was pretty set on not liking Molly, but again, props to Locke for making the readers see why would Peck could possibly have loved her at one point. I felt sympathy towards her, and she turned out not as bad as I originally thought, with how she eventually became graceful and good about Peck falling for someone else.

This book, like the others, was incredibly family-oriented. In particular, it sas wtouching to see how everyone interacted with Nana. She was a sweet soul.

And in this book, we got see a strong female friendship between Dylan and Navie. I hope Navie will eventually get her own book!

4 stars. Enjoyable, funny, sweet, and heart-warming.

Adriana Locke has never failed me! I’ve read a handful of her books & I absolutely LOVE each of them! This one was no exception.

So far, this is the only book I've read in The Gibson Boys series & I definitely think I missed out on the build up between Peck & Molly in the previous books. There are various descriptions of their history throughout the book which caught me up to speed for their dynamic!

As for his love interest, I won't spoil who she is but just know that I absolutely loved her! She's an absolute spitfire, especially in the scene where she meets Peck! Both characters have a lot of baggage to work through both separately & together but their romance was so sweet overall!

As for the audiobook?! It was done as a dual narration which is by far my favorite audiobook format of all time! I can't wait to do a deep dive into more of Adriana Locke's books!

Dylan moves to a new small town to be closer to her best friend. She ends up meeting Peck, but due to a case of mistaken identity, Dylan doesn’t make the best first impression. But she soon learns that Peck isn’t the asshole ex-boyfriend she thought. Instead, he turns out to be welcoming and someone Dylan could see as a close friend. And when Dylan’s new rental falls through, Peck offers a room in his house for her to live in.

Friends turned roommates, Dylan and Peck start to realize there’s a romantic spark between them. But Peck is known for having history with a girl in their town and Dylan is no stranger to a complicated past. Even still, the two of them can’t seem to keep their hands off each other. But even if they want to make things work, they might just be their own worst enemies...

Crazy by Adriana Locke is book 4 in the Gibson Boys series. I was waiting for Peck’s story as soon as he was introduced in Crank and I’m happy to finally see him fall in love. Dylan is a spitfire and she came into Peck’s life with a bang. I think this romance could’ve benefited from being a little longer, adding more romantic development. But even still, I really enjoyed my time reading this one. 4/5 stars.

Peck has been in love with Molly since they were six years old, or so he’d like to think, until a sassy spitfire crashes into his orbit and rocks his laid-back world. What follows is a delightful, engaging journey to forever that held me in its thrall from the first page to the last. With witty banter, delicious chemistry and plenty of tugs at the heart strings, these characters and their story kept me reading until the wee hours of the morning.

I adore all of these beautifully flawed, authentic characters and was halfway in love with Peck from previous books, but seeing him get schooled in all things love made me fall the rest of the way. He's the kind of guy everyone would want to be friends with, and for all his care-free, laid-back façade, this guy has a lot of depth to go along with his huge heart, and it looks like he's met his match in our heroine. She certainly keeps him on his toes without even trying. With the perfect balance of humor, heat and heart, this one will take you through a vast array of emotions and hold your heart captive as you read Pack’s poignant, heartfelt, phenomenal story. Don’t delay. Start reading it today!

Crazy is the fourth book in The Gibson Boys series by the talented and fabulous Adriana Locke, and you guys, this is Peck's story. I'm not going to lie, he wasn't my favorite from the beginning of the series. I liked him, he's cute, funny and hilarious, but he didn't steal my heart the way his cousins did. Until Crazy. I didn't expect to fall head over heels for this man. This sexy, thoughtful, fun, endearing, loyal and amazing man. He's there for everyone, that's just who he is. He makes things right, he fixes things, he loves his friends and family. He's loving and lovable, he just needs to find the right woman. She's out there, he knows it. He needs to listen to his heart and his head. He knows which path he's supposed to take. Toward the future. Away from his past. It's going to take the perfect woman to steal and keep Peck's heart. I can not even express how much I loved this story. Peck. You wonderful man. I hurt for him. I cried for him. I laughed with him and I swooned over his sexiness. His story was everything I wanted it to be and more. So. Much. More. I smiled so much my face hurt. I cried so hard the words were swimming in my vision. Adriana wins the romance award for this delicious and perfect man. Peck Ward for the win!

“I should have taken the time to kiss you more.”
“We kissed in the kitchen, Peck. Checked that box,” I say, bringing a finger down and then back up in a check mark motion in the air.
He grins. “But not like I wanted to.”
“Then kiss me now.”

Worth the wait!!

I have been dying for this book since the start of the series and the wait has been worth it! I adore Peck so much my heart could burst! I loved how this story unfolded and I think sometimes as a series goes on some characters stories don’t do them justice but I’ve never witnessed that in Adriana’s books. It’s why she’s one of my favourite authors. And this story is no different. She went above and beyond for Pecks story and I am over the moon he got his happily ever after.
