A CHRISTIAN FICTION SERIES' INTRODUCTION BY AN AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR

Tough and uncompromising undercover sheriff Asia Powers Bancroft had one goal—to bring crime extraordinaire Carlos Saint Magna to justice for tearing her town apart with criminal activity. This goal led her to choices that condensed to one thing—her family and her ability to protect them from the consequences of her job. But she hadn’t known that choosing to bring Saint Magna down would alter her life irreversibly.
Now left for dead, she discovers that, through faith in Jesus, some new beginnings start with “The End”.

Sharon Parson had asked for more than she could handle when she showed up to teach a Christian career counseling class for a Youth Reading Club in a dangerous part of town, unaccompanied, for the second time. Caught in a shootout late at night, she never expected her on-and-off boyfriend, Ash Carter, to rescue her again—or for their love to bloom anew.
With Sharon hesitating over a relationship because of his lack of faith in God, and Ash eager for something permanent like marriage, will she have the love she dreamed of or will it come crashing at her feet before it begins?

ABOUT BESTSELLING AUTHOR JOY OHAGWU:

Who doesn't like to curl up with a good book? I certainly have, for as long as I could remember. Next to books, I loved movies just as much, especially if it had action and suspense. No surprise then that I'm now writing romantic suspense, and inspirational stories! I'm grateful to the Lord Jesus for His undeserved mercy and grace. I earned a Masters' Degree in International Affairs from American University, Washington DC; and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan. Professionally, I've been honored with multiple awards for pioneer academic research, student leadership and overall excellence. I'm a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers(ACFW) organization. I pen stories during evenings, weekends, and whenever the food takes too long to cook. Despite the many hurdles I've faced in life, God has been crazy faithful! I live in the beautiful State of Maryland.

This was one wonderful prequel to two short introductory books. Beautiful as always. Can’t wait for the next book.

Perils of marrying outside your faith

The book was well written, behaving as if it was a documentary in the discussion of the protagnents relationship, but ended with sadness and a degree of hopefulness

I understand this is a prequel to the series. I enjoyed it to the point that I want to read the series to c what happens. I did find it a bit confusing though.
Had this for free, so as long as you know it's not a complete book then it's worth taking a look.

At First Sight & To Have & To Hold From Joy Ohagwu is a beautiful Christian novel with depth. It's a fascinating story that is very realistic. The story makes you think about how you stand in your faith and how you can better deal with certain situations. An inspiring book to read

Well written. Before marriage everyone needs to make sure that both are on the same road regarding faith otherwise issues rise and very difficult to find peace in the home.
