My best advice and insights to this book are:
The best is Liv is strong, stubborn, caring, and wants what's best for all. Ben is smitten and committed, needs to protect her no matter what and keeps his eye on the ultimate goals.
As you figured out, there is a headbanger Cliffy and lots of twists. Again, the good news is the next installment, For Her Benefit is not a year away...it is right around the corner, something I can handle.

You must read Big Ben First. Otherwise, you will not have the necessary foundation to understand what is happening and why.
It starts right where the other book left off just like the cliffies of other wonderful series.

Not a standalone go read Big Ben first..
this thing that Ben keeps from her will blow in book three..
why you lying again Ben???
I feel so sorry for readers who had to wait for books to be out I just couldn't deal with that...each book ends on a clifhanger that makes you pick up the next book immediately...
love this trilogy...if you are a fan of steamy novels with some intrigue and suspense pick this trilogy up...you won't be disappointed!!
I am giving it five stars because I am having so much fun reading this...

The Benefactor picked up where Big Ben left off. It jumped right back into the excitement. And then it just didn't let up.
It was such an intense, suspenseful ride. I didn't know who to trust although I knew who I wanted to.
I also knew that I loved Ben and Livy. Their passion and connection was one of the things I loved most about the story. Reading as these two damaged people navigated their relationship while dealing with the secrecy and danger that surrounded them. It was thrilling and just kept me zoned into every word of this story.
Now that I've finished this one I still have one more story to wait for in Ben and Livy's trilogy and I wish it was here already.

I had been looking forward to this book especially with the cliffhanger we were left with at the end of Book #1 Big Ben. At the beginning of The Benefactor, we read as we watch Olivia hurt and broken, trying to escape whoever had tried to kidnap her. I have to admit this book frustrated the heck out of me as I was confused as to whether it was Ben's fault that Olivia was targeted or is it her fault? I also hated how she kept blaming Ben when HELLO Olivia - did you ever think it could do with your digging and the fact you are looking into Caroline's disappearance and the fact your mother was a diplomat? I hated Olivia's character in The Benefactor as it was like she didn't want to take any responsibility at all and wanted to continue to put all the blame on Ben when you could tell he was just trying to keep her safe. Freaking hell, give the guy a bone - Olivia as it takes two to tango. Even writing this review, I can feel myself getting so worked up about Olivia and her "I'm innocent and everyone else to blame" attitude. Even though Ben still thinks Olivia was hurt because of him as this book ends on another big cliffhanger - it does make me wonder that it has been about Olivia from the beginning and you have to wonder if her original boyfriend Dex and his weird friend who loves to stalk Olivia Fenton is behind it. I am now in two minds about reading Book #3 For Her Benefit when it is released but I think I am leaning towards reading it, just to find out what will happen and who they are really after - Olivia or Ben? I also hope that we will get more answers to Caroline's disappearance and maybe if she is still alive or not - that would be awesome.

4 stars to this steamy sequel to Big Ben. I found the story for this trilogy really hit it's stride with this entry and I couldn't put it down. The various mysteries became more involved and deeper, and some new characters were introduced that I really enjoyed as well. And the steamy scenes? Yes please and then some - there were more in this book than in the first one, and they were great. I honestly prefer romance novels that border more on erotica vs. closed door romances, and this one hit a great mix of the two. I did find the back and forth Olivia does about certain things/feelings to get a bit annoying - but I find that happens in a lot of romance novels, so I just move it along.
Also - that cliffhanger?!?! Cannot wait for the last one in this series! If you like romance pick up Big Ben first and then this one - they're both fun romps!

Book 2 starts off exactly where book 1 left us hanging and you will not believe the secrets and betrayal that fly from the pages.
Ben annoyed me a bit in this one, with his caveman ways, but I believe that was intentional... Then again Liv annoyed me with her stubbornness later on...
Putting all that aside once all cards are on the table, will they all be able to work together, or will they keep getting thwarted by surprises?
This is a short but sweet review as this is the middle book of a trilogy so it's hard to talk about anything without ruining the journey. So much happens in this book, and I enjoyed it more than the first, truly invested now!!

This is the second book in the See No Evil Trilogy. Ben and Livy's story continues . Talk about fast paced and full of action, this book grabbed my attention on the first page and I found it hard to put down. Ben had vowed to protect Livy but someone he trusted got to her in the loft. To survive they must find the Yellow Canary. Love is in the air. Talk about suspense, drama, danger, passion, twists and explosive chemistry. This book has it all and leaves us with the ultimate cliffhanger that will be solved in the third and final book involving the London Lords. A great read with well-developed characters and an engaging story. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.

Holy Hannah! Nana Malone does it again. Travel with Ben and Livy as they navigate through the streets of London dodging the drama The Elite reigns down upon them. I really enjoyed the arrival of the Winston Isles Team and how their personalities meshed with Livy and the London Lords. The danger and suspense was top notch and left you wanting more... which happened as this too was a cliff hanger. Darn it!!!! I want resolution for Ben and Livy. I am dying to know if Ben can admit his true feelings for Livy and whether she can accept them as permanent. I can’t wait for the finale.

I can’t even explain how much I love Ben and Livvy and the entire London Lords. This bridge book has a heist, some more romance, more than one mystery, and some super sexy times! I cannot wait for the conclusion to their story, but I’m definitely loving the journey that’s taking them there!

The Benefactor by Nana Malone is book Two in the See No Evil Trilogy. This book continues the story of Olivia 'Livy' Ashong and Ben Covington, so you really should read the previous book 'Big Ben' first before starting this one. Ben and his fellow friends of Lords of London are still out to get their revenge for their friend Toby. But Ben is working to protect Livy along with making her see that she belongs to him and with him. But Livy hasn't has not had a easy time trusting men so she is not so easy going with the trust but they are building to that moment. I can't wait for the next installment in this Trilogy called 'For Her Benefit". Page turning read for me!

The Benefactor was amazing! It started right where Big Ben left off with the huge cliffhanger. I got hooked right away! I can't get enough of Ben - he is not as big of an a-hole as it seemed at first. He is so protective of Liv and it's so cute to read about him doing all he can to keep her safe. And Liv - she is so strong! Fearless! I admired her from the very beginning and I still do. She is stubborn but also very loyal.
Amazing read, totally recommend this one! It's a romance with a touch of action into it. Five huge stars!

The Benefactor picks up from that doozy of a cliffhanger in Big Ben, and Liv thank God gets through it and back to Ben for some explanations. She really is not feeling positive about him and their "relationship" or whatever their thing is called. Ben's protective instincts have increased exponentially, but he hasn't declared any feelings, so naturally Liv wants nothing to do with him. Will the two ever got on the same page with their feelings, with whatever this is between them?
But, more importantly, right now, will Ben and co. be able to bring the Elite down? That's their mission and they mean to do it. Liv is now involved in this world, though, so she's demanding some transparency from all of the guys, especially Ben. Will he give in or continue to make decisions for her and further alienate her?
Damn but this installment is even more intense, even more suspenseful than Big Ben was!! I wouldn't say that Ben and Liv made many inroads in the relationship department, they're still in the transitory phase, neither has declared feelings, and neither is feeling particularly open about things, but the overarching storyline sure moves forward, a ton! And yes, there is another doozy of a cliffhanger, and I'm left verrrry upset because For Her Benefit hasn't landed on my Kindle yet *pout*. I have faith Nana is going to put me out of my misery and give this amazing couple a happy ever in their concluding installment, though. Now if only it would release asap!!

OMG Ben and Livy just get better and better with each installment!! Ben and Livy are Perfection...Perfectly Sexy Perfection!! And I loved every moment of their escapades.
The Benefactor despite not being the conclusion to Ben and Livy's story is a complete and total 5-star read. Wow! The suspense and mystery and love affair surrounding these Ben and Livy continues to draw you in and continues to hold you with captivated breathe throughout. I honestly did not want this one to end. The twists and turns this story takes will leave you on a journey that you never expected, and you will still be spinning when the book comes to a close.
Ben and the other Lords of London continue to seek vengeance for their friend Toby against the Elite, and to do so they have had to bring in help to help them hatch and carryout the perfect plan. Yup, that means some of our favorite characters from the other connected stories make their appearance. While Ben is plotting his revenge against the Elite, he also continues to try to get Livy to see that she is HIS and that he will do anything to protect her, but Livy, who has had enough of men lying to her, keeping things from her, is not hearing any of it, and is all about gaining her complete and total in independence. Ben and Livy despite Ben being super rich and powerful, are so perfectly matched in all respects. All you can do as the reader is cheer for them even when you are yelling at them "Can't you see that you two belong together forever??!!"

Nana Malone just keeps you on the edge with this series, who can you trust???!!! Ben and Olivia are just two dynamic duos and then you have the London Lords with a dash of the Winston Isles Crew and side of the London Royals....I JUST CAN'T EVEN DEAL!!!
I really do love this series, I love the fact that Nana has included past characters from her previous books, it just makes this story that much more interesting and hilarious. You will not be able to put the this book down, maybe to blush a little, but besides that you are going to want to devour this book in one night.
In the heart of it all there are so much secrets to unveil, plot twists, and unexpected discoveries. I am not sure who has good or evil intentions in this story but I can't wait to find out in the next installment of this series. For Her Benefit can't come soon enough!!!

The Benefactor brings us back to the Elite in a big way! Big Ben ended with a huge cliffhanger and this book picked up right where it left off. I was hooked in those first few pages and this book held me captive the whole way! I love the secret society aspect of this trilogy and how awesome Livy is! Ben is no slouch and his group of friends are all over solving this mystery. I cannot wait for book 3!!

Money and power are the name of the game and Ben seems to have both in spades, but none of it will keep Livy by his side, which he is quickly realizing is all he actually wants. Livy is independent, bull headed, no one tells her what to do. She's struggling to find her own mark and identity but she knows she won't be happy until she gets to the bottom of this mess and she'll sort the rest out when the smoke clears.
This book revisits some of this author's previous characters as well and I loved that, it made it feel like coming home in a sense.
I don't want to give anything away but trust me you will be on the edge of your seat with this gripping page turner and I am desperately awaiting the conclusion to see if all my guesses were correct!

Book 2 in a Trilogy. OMG - that's what I have to say about this. If you feel in love with Ben and Livy in "Big Ben" you will enjoy the continuation of their story in "The Benefactor". And if you are a fan of Nana Malone's Winston Isles Royals then you will not be disappointed with some of the special guests featured throughout. I love how interconnected Nana Malone's books are. It really helps dedicated fans of her books feel like it has paid to be invested in her various series. I am going to be over here waiting not so patiently for the conclusion of Ben and Livy's story...

The Benefactor is book 2 in the See No Evil Trilogy. We left Livy and Ben at the end of Big Ben with a huge cliffhanger and The Benefactor picked up right where left off.....and it’s an adrenaline high. The opening paragraph had me enthralled. Without giving any spoilers, Livy becomes aware of the London Lords and The Elite after Ben tried to keep her out of it. She is angry with him but also lied to him about the jump drive. Ben and Livy’s relationship is continually tested in this book. I love that Livy is fighting for herself and showing her strength when Ben tries to treat her like a Princess and lock her away, “for her safety.” I love strong af heroines.
She engages in the London Lords meetings, planning the heist and proves her wits and smart to the boys. I seriously am in love with Ben Covington! The hero in Nana Malone's books is always one that can make my knees feel weak, but OMG Ben is absolutely one of my all time favorites! The book picks up right where we left off in the first installment. And what a ride! Plenty of twists, turns and cliff hanging drops. Nana Malone is great at establishing a strong sense of family among friends in each of her different series. The relationships are great and make it so much fun to pick up another book. The banter and dialogue is snappy and downright fun. Livy is a fantastic heroine who is both strong and smart. She is the perfect match for Ben. The book ended way too soon. I can hardly wait until the conclusion is released! I received an advance copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the second piece of Ben and Olivia's story. You must read book one, Big Ben first to obtain the full story so far. Book two picks up where the cliffhanger left us, so things get off to an intense and adrenalin filled start but then things slow down a bit, become less high energy and more focused on the main characters, their emotions and their relationship. Now, do not misunderstand me. There is still A LOT going on here. Mystery, suspense, drama, angst, humor, steam are all front and center as the story continues to unfold. There are more twists, bigger questions and what seems to be an ever increasing feeling of impending doom as things progress. It was great to see old friends from some of this author's previous books and that added a whole other layer of awesome to this story. As much as I love Livy and Ben, I admit that they often had me annoyed and painfully frustrated in this book. Ben's blind determination to repeat the same mistake over and over had me wanting to smack him on the back of his head and ask him, "Really?!!" and Livy's stubborn refusal to give an inch, even when she was guilty of the same crime was beyond maddening. I know she's got relationship insecurities but I desperately wanted to shake her and warn her that she was truly getting her witch on and she really needed to real it back in. While I could admire her need to be strong and independent, I felt that her anger and fears led her to make some not so well thought decisions and take some actions that given the situation simply were not smart or safe. In spite of these pet peeves though, I loved this book. The energy picks up again as the book heads towards its end and the big jewel heist operation comes into play. Prepare for the cliffhanger ahead and the wait for book three. I am posting an independent, impartial review.

The Benefactor by Nana Malone was a fascinating and mindblowing ride of action, romance and suspense. The fast and complex yet flawless storyline hooked me in. Right along with some amazing characters and insane chemistry. Nana Malone's incredible writing never fails to own my heart.
Livy got entangled in the dangerous and corrupt world of the Elite through a chance encounter with Ben Covington. Ben and his friends are out for vengeance and they are using all their skills and resources to take this vile organisation down. He didn't want Livy to get in trouble. But she is in danger and keeping secrets won't work. They work through trust issues and struggle to find a way for their relationship while fighting against something sinister.
I think I loved Livy so much more in this book. That girl has some real guts! Rather than being completely bamboozled by Ben's money , charm and possessiveness; she wants to hold on to her identity and independence. She is a firecracker and it was so entertaining to read Ben trying to figure her out. The big guy was totally clueless and he kept on messing up. He is not exactly very open and his past is still haunting him. But he makes me swoon, drool and sigh so bad. After all what's there not to like about a man who is crazy protective of his woman and can turn into a beast or angel depending on the situation. Their chemistry scorched my kindle. They are more like partners and they have this smart and intelligent connection. I was biting my nails and turning pages eagerly to see how Ben and London Lords execute their plans. And then Nana Malone left me with the nuclear bomb. THAT WAS NOT NICE AT ALL.

I must say Nana Malone threw a surprise right at the beginning, I didn't see coming. Once I was over the surprise and read a little more of the story I think I know. I know this is cryptic and I'm sorry I just don't want to give anything away. If you have not read Big Ben you need to start with it first. Now on with the review. Nana Malone gave me everything I wanted in this story, suspense, steam and frustration. I found myself on the edge of my seat turning the pages. I have my suspensions who is betraying everyone, we'll see. Ben and Livy frustrated me for the first half of the book, once they got past the lieing, over protectiveness and secrets they are a fun, hot couple. I love Ben and is wanting to protect Livy, but also trying to give her the space she needs to be independent. It's fun watching him squirm a little bit. I love Livy and her independence and her strong will. I found a lot of moving parts in this story and can't wait For Her Benefit. I will warn you this does end in a major cliffhanger. In my opinion if you are a Nana Malone fan she didn't let you down. The only disappointing thing is the ending cliffhanger, SIGH!!! Nana Malone did bring back some previous characters which is always fun. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader's copy.

The book is AMAZING from start to finish! The chemistry between Livy and Ben is undeniable considering just how strong willed they both are. But just as you think you've gotten your head around everything, Nana cuts you off like a friend who pulls you off the dance floor to go home the minute the one song you've been waiting all night for comes on!!
Side note: I am in love with how Nana continues to infuse West African, specifically Ghanaian, culture into her books! One of my favorite parts was when she taught Ben how to make Jollof(at least I think it was). That's way further than I've gotten with my husband, cos he only eats it!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Well, there sure are some twists and turns you could not quit expect, but in General, Livy is in deep sh** - she just doesn't realise it. An entertaining story, that starts right were the former book left you hanging and therefore gets you right back into the story. Livy's character grows during the story as she gets more and more comfortable with her relationship and her living arrangement. As the journey continues you'll one again be left hanging as the book ends again in a cliffhanger.
