Surrendering Her Heart

Rate this book
Sheila Farris is happy to be Alex's nanny. She loves to make sure that Alex has fun and is delighted to be with him. However, there's just one thing. Alex's mother, Kayla Masterson, works too much for someone who works from home. On top of that, she doesn't seem to be happy in her own life.

When Alex goes away for the weekend, Sheila notices that there is more to Kayla than meets the eye. She wants to venture into the unknown future with her. Sheila wants to help Kayla, guide her, and show her that life isn't all about work.

If she can get Kayla to pay attention to more than just work, Sheila knows that not only will Alex be happier, but Kayla as well. Will Sheila find a way to Kayla’s heart and show her there is life outside of work? Can Kayla learn to slow down and enjoy the free time? Or is it too difficult for Kayla to see and harder to understand?

Cute idea...way too rushed. 7yr old talks like he’s 15. Mostly the swapping of characters names is the worst part. The wrong name keeps getting used for the wrong characters which means you have to pause and figure out who it is supposed to be. Even the dad’s GF was swapped for one of the MC at one point.

This was another sweet and easy story by Jenny Bloom. I liked the idea of it and how the MC‘s acted together. There were some confusions with the names that made me reading some parts again. Maybe this could be corrected. Personally for me Alex was almost a bit too grown up for his age. But that’s me. I mean lots of the kids are very wise. We often just think they can’t be. Lol. All in all I liked this story. I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review

If its meant to be

Kayla is a divorcee, mother of one to a son name Alex, and employer to a nanny named Sheila. Kayla is a workaholic. Shelia helps her to see there is more to life. Together they have a lot more in common than either of them knew. Read their journey of self discovery. Great read. , "I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review."

I really loved this book. I loved the emotions she showed throughout the book. It got my heart racing and the way she wrote it made me not want to put this down. I loved the characters and omg, I really recommend this book. It's sexy, captivating, and overall really hooks you in. I can feel the emotions going through the book and I love Kayla and sheila, 5 out of 5.

Giving her my heart.

I choose this rating because of the love that had transpired between Kayla and Sheila and her and the love they both feel for each other and how they get along. And how Sheila love Kayla son alex and they began too act as a family doing things together.

Just ok

The were to many grammar errors and some sentences that were not worded to cleary. The summary made it seems like the potential couple had some early disagreement/tensions between them which does not exactly match the plot of the book as go from beginning to end

A pleasant love tale ! Although there are a varying number of glaring flaws in the telling the story . Even with that it was a delightful sapphic love tale!
