Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Whether she's writing a fast burn romance about witches, wolf shifters, and vampires, or teasing a slow burn romance while hunting demonic monsters, her passion is for character driven novels.

Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.

Loved it

This one made me sooo happy! I’ve been missing addie’s men and wow was this one a homecoming. I loved it (of course) and I can’t wait until the next one.

Get ready for Rallying L.L. Frost’s sixth installment in her Succubus Dreams serial story arc. Adie is back on the human plane and her plan to rally as many together to combat the Dreamer is coming together a piece at a time. Her newest issue is convincing the guys that she is who she says she is. Too bad time is of the essence so “convincing”…there really isn’t much time for that. Adie is going to be pushing things with the power that she has consumed.
Rallying gives readers a taste once again of the steamy that we have come to crave, but things do slowdown in this book, too. Of course, we can’t expect things to be all slap and dash all the time so the slower pace is to be expected. I will admit that I was hoping to get more description of Adie’s altered appearance since she looks like herself, but not totally. I like that we get some backstory on the demon realm and about the human plane as well. We gain some insight on how things once were at one point.
I have mixed feelings about Adie’s power right now. I like that she has it, but I think that on some levels it’s going to her head especially when she’s not in full control of it at all. I like Adie, but I don’t like it when she tries to pretend she’s something she’s not.
I am choosing to rate this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. There are minor editorial errors sprinkled throughout this book, but a couple of them did cause me to pause in my reading to reread the spot. Adie has a bit of an ego with her power boost, which I don’t necessarily like especially since she’s not in full control of it. She has growing to do still and so I think she needs to tone things down a bit with the flexing. This book ends more on a comical cliffhanger for me, because I literally laughed out loud and said…”wait! What?!” I’m looking forward to what’s next.

Winner takes all

Finally gathering the team of good destroyers, with plans in place. Currently overlooked Adie to the rescue. Can't wait to read more. JL

Adie did what she needed to do to get back to the human plane, back to her body, and back to her destruction demons. Even if it might only be temporary. There is a Dreamer to deal with, bridges to burn, nests to destroy, and worlds to save. Plus, there are three demons Adie needs to see.

This is a much more serious Adie episode than I am used to. Makes me wonder what the baku think about this mission-oriented Adie. I do know exactly how they felt about her icy time with Emil! I'm with Landon. I'm proud of the person Boo has grown into. She is a strong, smart, focused woman who has a heart bigger than her wings. I wouldn't mind her getting a spanking from Kellen, however. She has been headstrong and foolish more than once but she's young. I will admit, I am a little afraid for her. I'm not sure what's next and how long she has. And that final scene did nothing to calm my worries!

Yay! Adie’s back!

Wow! Adie is something! But finally home! Thank goodness for her demons and Landon and the witches. They’ve all turned out to be so important and good friends. With as nice as things were in this book, the Librarian’s appearance has me worried. So ready for Book 29!

Not as much excitement

In this installment, Adie returns to the human world with a plan in motion and some interesting side effects from the ley line power. While still engaging, Rallying does not have as much excitement and feels more like a bridge to the next book.

This was rather interesting seeing that she was able to not only access the power but using her demons contain it. I'm wondering if she is more powerful than the believe before as a small pathetic succubus. I just hope when the power escapes she isnt a victim of it and thrust back to demon plain

Wow

Always when it’s gets to the good parts now I have to wait another month. Love how she got power to control the 3 powerful demons. Even though they got lady handle by addie.

Rally

I can't wait to read what happens next. I love Addy Boo and her adventures. Kneeling in the kitchen scene was hilarious.
