Good book but should skip the recruitment drive.
This was an interesting read, very much centred on the 24/7 prayer movement. It also has some very practical ways in which you can and should engage with God and what happens when regular, consistent prayer takes place. Good for getting to grips with your prayer life and helping you to focus your prayers on the receiver, ie Jesus and not the purpose of our prayers. We can all benefit from a better relationship with God and this is a good reminder of that. The downside? It read a bit like a testimony of the author's mission, which while it is a great initiative,felt a bit towards the end as if he was trying to 'recruit'

Most thorough book on prayer
I live in Albuquerque and have been a part of Pray for New Mexico. I had no idea how prayer had changed my state until I read this book. You can imagine my surprise when I found the author lived in Albuquerque and the Lord had told him to start a 24/7 prayer program covering for NM, later the USA and finally the world. A wonderful and inspiring book. I highly recommend it!

Good book, but...
The context of the book and the message of the author is overall a good one. However, too much time was spent on what sounded like self -promotion of the ministry the author started instead of telling the reader how to actively engage in prayer.
Perhaps I simply missed the point of the book.

Lo quiero en español!!
Al comienzo me costaba seguir el hilo de la historia que contaba y no entendía el punto, pero me atrapó por completo. He puesto en práctica las ideas para orar y me he sentido renovada en mis tiempos con Dios. Me encantó encontrar referencias de otras vidas que he leído.

Many books are very informational. This book is inspirational. It is very practical but doesn’t stop there. I highly recommend this book and this movement to you.

Lo leí en inglés y me gustó bastante, el autor nos recuerda sobre el poder de la oración y sobre lo que podemos llegar a lograr con ella. Sin duda es un hábito muy bueno que necesitamos practicar con bastante frecuencia.
