2 books in one. Lindsey and Maddy live in Georgia and both venture to North Dakota where winters are harsh. Lindsey had relatives that once lived there but the town of Buffalo Valley is dwindling. She takes a job as a school teacher expecting to stay only 1 year. Lots of new people to meet and interesting stories about each one. These books are mostly about many romances, marriages, pregnancies and break-ups on and off. Interesting read. Only thing that kept me engaged was the ongoing change of stories of the different people.
