Beg for Daddy is a delicious daddy-dom story that I actually wish was longer. I devoured this story by Aubrey Cara. I am excited to see what comes next out of Club Domum Deorum.

3/5- le sigh
Honestly for an erotic romance there wasn’t nearly enough steamy scenes. And the steam/heat/ whatever wasn’t very intense. The book was mostly an angsty best friends EX WIFE trope, and our hero has been carrying a torch for over many years. Oh, he’s a sadistic sexual Dominant too (but you never see him being particularly sadistic).
There are tons of BDSM references and terms. The beginning of the book even takes place at a swanky high-brow kink club. Some may say this is even full tilt kink. I don’t think so, maybe BSDM light? Butt plugs, anal sex, and “punishments” isn’t BDSM, it’s having an affinity for deviant sexual acts. The author points out every time someone is wearing a plug or what bejeweled design is on a plug that it gets old.
Most of the scenes are vague. And most of the story is an angsty retelling of when they first met and how they always wanted each other. Throw in some cringe “daddy” and “baby girl” references and that’s the story. *** for the record I’m not against the term Daddy or baby girl BUT it’s ineffective in this story.
For a 124 page novella, I skimmed a lot. It was redundant and became boring. I’m bummed. I wanted to love this book but Noah was not enough for me.

Usually it’s the instalove that gets people. Here it’s the instachange his mind. Like on a dime. Went from he was too busy at work to commit to...um, yeah too busy at work but it’s always been you. Whatever. Shortish, ten percent is a preview for another book. Author uses “pixie face crumples” twice within a page, then crumples again a page later. No cheating per se, but they were eyeing each other during her marriage. Sorry if that’s a spoiler but it’s a dealbreaker for many - even with the dead husband’s purported invite (“be her dom while I’m away”).
The daddy stuff really didn’t work. Especially with the H’s tendencies. At least it didn’t for me.

Not what I was expecting
I thought there was a disconnect between the set up of the story and the execution of it. It wasn't overly Daddy/little, which I like,but I just don't get the whole, "I love you therefore I will severely hurt you to prove it."

More angsty than deep; more titillating than sexy.
Paige and Noah are connected by Paige's deceased husband, who was Noah's best friend. They've carried torches for each other for years, and the reasons they haven't gotten together since Paige's husband's death seem a little spurious. Paige misses her husband's dominance, so she auctions herself off at a kink club's annual sub auction. Predictably, Noah steps up and buys her and they head off for the weekend. Both the auction and the weekend had the potential to be very kinky but really didn't go there and there's more heartache and conflict between the two than sexy-times. I understood why this might be from a characterisation perspective, but it was a little disappointing as a read.
The HEA comes very abruptly and I'd have liked to see things develop a bit more.

Aubrey Cara has created a scenario that absolutely melted my heart and made my princess parts tingle. She's given us Paige, Cam, Noah, and Roan in this book and each of them play an integral part in her tale. There's BDSM scenes, friendship, unrequited love, secrets, and a good dose of fate. What more could you ask for? Oh, I don't know, maybe a Daddy Dom with a sadistic streak?!? Yup, it's in there. This was a wonderful, titillating read.

This Daddy is way too conflicted
It took until 72% of the book for the daddy to get his head out of his butt, and to be a man not a jerk. That’s way too long. If Paige was my friend, I’d tell her to kick him in the nuts and tell him this “baggage” is going to do some traveling. The writing is good, the characters are codependent and weak. Not what you want from a Daddy book. A woman begging a guy to be with her isn’t sexy, it’s sad, and that is not a fun read.

This terrific read offers a compelling blend of scorching heat, intense emotions, steamy kink and a sprinkle of sweetness. I really enjoyed this book. I thought Paige and Noah were great characters and their chemistry was off the charts insane! I loved this wonderful read and its perfect balance of heat and heart. This is my independent, impartial review.

I have read many BDSM stories, and I have read many "Daddy/Little" stories and "Daddy/Dom" stories so I am not a spring chicken to these concepts. After completing this book, I conclude that Noah's behaviour was immature, emotionally abusive and just plain nasty.

This was a fast paced quick afternoon read. It was scorching hot with a possessive, hot daddy dom. I liked this nook it was really sweet but also hot. Just wish it was a little longer. No worries though. Good job!

Beg for Daddy by Aubrey Cara is a first for me. This story was a fast paced titillating story about Paige who is trying to get on with her life after the lost of her husband. She finds she is in need of a Dom so she decides to auction herself off at Club Domum Deorum with the help from her friend Roan who owns the club. Noah comes to the club but doesn't want to bid, until he sees Paige who he has always wanted but stayed away as he was her busband's best friend. Unknown to both of them Roan is setting things in motion so these two can finally be together. When Noah sees Paige onstage, he is outraged with Roan and her and now all bets are off as he bids for her. Paige has no idea that Noah is the bidder until he whispers in her ear. Paige is shaken up as she has secretly had feelings for Noah while married to Cam will she finally achieve her heart's desire with Noah? The chemistry and connection between these two was hot and intense as these two have unfinished business to resolve. Will they give into their desires at last? Will Paige get her Daddy Dom or will Noah walk away? This is one Daddy Dom romance story that is a must read. Aubrey Cara has done an amazing job with this story.

OMG! I LOVE this story. It is filled with overcoming grief, care, desire and humor. It is jam-packed with eroticism, enticement, desire, yearning, insecurity, anxiety, dominance, control, punishment, pleasure, pain and intense orgasms. This is my first read by this author, and let me just say that I am pleasantly surprised. I quite enjoyed the storyline, the characters, and the author's writing style. It is a steamy romance, with BDSM elements, between Paige and her late husband's best friend, Noah. These flawed characters are likable, the chemistry is combustible, and the unique plot makes for an interesting read. What starts out as a BDSM auction win turns into something more. It is a sexual adventure with enough drama, intrigue, humor and steam, plus engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. Overall, it is a quick read with heart, heat, and a happy ending.

Hot Bossy Dom
The first part of this book is so look hot!! The H is grumpy for the h so once he wins her in the auction, he shows her and TELLS her exactly how he wants her! I enjoyed Aubrey Cara's writing style. Great hot dialogue, descriptive sex scenes, hot secondary male character. This is my first Cara book. But just picked up another of her books in KU so it will not be my last. My only complaint is the ending felt a little rushed at times like there was a maximum word count limit. I expected a little bit more of a struggle bw the H/h in order to come to terms with their feels, guilt and control. Felt like I was missing a small piece of their background. But not enough to ruin their story and their HEA. Yay!

Wow, this book has set the bar so high for all Daddy Dom books I read in the future . It gave me all the feels I even cried. The storyline was so well written I felt like I was living inside the characters lives. It all came across so naturally . The daddy Dom and baby girl kink worked as part of the story line so seamlessly that it felt like I was reading someone’s actual life not “ A story “ ! I wish I could give it 10 ⭐️. If you’re a fan of this genre or looking to try it out I can’t recommend a better book 1-click you won’t be disappointed! I loved this book so much it is going in my top 10 for the year !!!

Wow Aubrey Cara, what a great book this was to read, totally enjoyed it from the begining to the end. I just loved the interaction betweeen the two of them, they confess to hate each other, but in reality they really love each other.

This is a Daddy Dom story (you could probably tell from the title,) but it also goes into the characters past, their grief and feelings of guilt they need each other for closure of the past so they can start a new future. One starts with the main characters late best friend and his feelings for his friends wife that convince him to keep his distance, that changes when she puts herself up for auction at the local club.

This book was everything I needed! Sadistic in just the right ways with chemistry off the charts! I wasn’t sure if I would like it given Noah being Paige’s husband’s best friend but it was written perfectly and I loved every second of it! Their relationship is complex and raw full of fights and romance and a lovely happy ever after that made this book perfect.

A wonderful BDSM story with two fated characters who give you that warm and fuzzy feeling about this dark world. Even after her husbands death Paige needs an emotional attachment to a good man but is Noah that man? Noah knows he can take care of her but as her Daddy. These two have such a captivating story you will just tear through the pages to get to the end.

This is a good steamy little read and I really enjoyed it. Noah has been in love with Paige for as long as he has known her but she was his best friend's wife until he passed two years ago. When he finds out she is going up on the auction block he decides it is time to make his move. If you like a good Daddy Dom romance then you won't want to miss this one.

Okay, so when I started reading this book I could not put it down. Both these characters were attracted to each other, however, she was married to his best friend, now deceased. I loved how this author brought these two together, with passion and kink. The characters are well developed.
