Farris When I first saw Banner, two thoughts occurred to me. I was going to marry him some day, and his face was way too smooth, He needed to laugh more. And then I proceeded to all the things that made him frown and glare.
Banner When I first saw Farris, two thoughts occurred to me. He had the most beautiful smile I'd ever seen, complete with dimples, and dragging his down with my gloom and doom personality was out of the question. So, I proceeded to try to avoid the unavoidable.
Wow! Love this one a LOT! Banner and Farris were so adorable together! There were a bit more tears for me in this one, most very happy but some in relief. Another excellent addition to this series!
This was sweet if short and rushed. I was a bit disappointed in the fact that certain areas of the book were rushed through. I know these are supposed to be short and just quickies but this could have benefited from being a little more fleshing out instead of getting general synopses of different points in their lives. There were also a lot of editing mistakes. It was definitely not my favorite in the series.
The whole gym saw this duo coming way before they did. :)
Farris, the prankster of the gym, flirts with the very serious, Banner, by irritating the hell out of him with pranks and jokes. Farris is always smiling and laughing—usually at Banner’s expense. Banner, on the other hand, never smiles. That doesn’t seem to stop Farris from trying to make him though.
These two are cute and hilarious together—once they start opening up and talking. It takes a scare and a huge wave of protectiveness to bring these two cuties closer.
“Somehow, over the time that I’d been working at the gym, I’d, for some crazy reason, started to kinda think of Farris…as mine.”
I’m all for and adore shorty reads, but I could have used more background and details with this one.
Is Farris alright? And can banner survive the horrible jokes and pranks? Join the gym and find out.
OK, just for clarification... when I post in a review that quotation marks come in sets of two... I didn't mean to use them at the beginning and end of a sentence that has TWO quotes in it... that would require four actual quotation marks! *headdesk* ;p
I honestly would have liked to have all four books in this series, so far, to have been longer (with fewer errors, of course) because each one touched on a specific subject that I felt didn't get adequate page time to really let us feel the emotions that these issues truly deserved. But, alas, this did not happen, but Farris and what's his name (Banner?) were as Ms. Light's characters always are... ADORABLE!!! ;D
Aww, Farris was so so good. I absolutely adored him, from the moment he started all the crazy shenanigans against Banner to when I realized he'd not always been so optimistic. I absolutely adored him and Banner.
Another enjoyable book you cannot help but fall in love with Farris and his out going behaviour. I am glad Banner finally bite the bullet and get his man they both deserved happiness.
Joking is Farris way of making his day brighter especially when he directs them to Banner. Banner is too serious but Farris gets under his skin. Loved it!
Opposites attract!!! This is the definition of grumpy/sunshine in action. The pigtail pulling antics are hilarious. Not to mention the corny jokes!!! Fun times
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or 'Liberty' from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey’s books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times a year (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time- reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok). It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
I enjoyed reading Farris and Banner story. The Training Day series are short and funny watching the men that work at a gym fall in love. Farris tried to mess up Banners day by messing with his equipment to trying to make the serious man laugh because he wanted him. But when Farris got sick Banner had to be the one to take care of him. See if Farris was able to make Banner smile.
Another great book to the series. Farris is a jokester, always trying to make Banner laugh, thinking he's too straitlaced and stuffy for his own good. Banner is attracted to Farris, but he wonders why such a bright, vibrant man would like someone as boring as he is. But as something comes between them that might drive them apart permanently, Banner steps up and is there for Farris. This is a really sweet read and I highly recommend it!!
Farris is the fourth book in J.D. Light's Training Days series. It is a quick read that has a cute story about co-workers who ho from annoying each other to turning each other on. The characters are great together and very likeable. It is sweet and funny, relatively low on angst but high on smile inducing fun!
I love all of J.D Light's books. I absolutely fell in love with Farris the pranks OMG too much. This book is a must read for me along with everyone book this author has written.
I absolutely fell in love with Farris and his quirky attitude . This whole love story between Banner and Farris made me smile so much . I would read it again in a heartbeat .
This is another phenomenal book in this series. J D Light does not disappoint. All I can say is that I highly recommend reading this book and the entire series.
