अमर न्यौपानेको चौथो उपन्यासको रुपमा रहेको गुलाबी उमेर पुस्तकले टीनएज भनिने १३ देखि १९ वर्ष उमेर समूहले अनुभव गर्ने शारीरिक र मानसिक परिवर्तनको कथा बोकेको छ । यश पुस्तक मार्फत उनले दिन खोजेको मुख्य संदेश भनेको १३-१९ वर्ष उमेर समुहका किशोर किशोरीहरु सामान्यतया गम्भीर हुदैनन् तर यो नै जीवनको सबैभन्दा गम्भीर उमेर हो ।

अरूको कुरा नसुनी खुला मन राखेर पढेकी थिए। पढ्दै गए ठिकै लाग्यो , अमर न्यौपाने का अरु किताब जति राम्रो नभए नी पढ्नै मन नलाग्ने होइन रहेछ जस्तो लाग्यो। हरेक व्यक्ति लाई आफ्नो बितेको गुलाबी उमेर को याद दिलाउने सरल भाषामा लेखिएको रहेछ जस्तै लाग्यो। तर किताबको अन्त्य चाहिँ फेद न टुप्पो जस्तो भयो।

On positive end this book freshen the memory of teen age days and all ups and downs it brings on every individual life. The writer has beautifully illustrated about distance a child maintains with parents during adolescent days and results it brings.

But on negative note the ending doesn't make any sense at all and I think no one can be perfect at everything- Study, Sport,Drama,Poem,Creation all at same time while going through mental battle continuouslylike protagonist of the story.

Had high expectations from writer of Seto Dharti but it is not up to the expectation. Left little disappointed but I am sure Amar Neupane will come with bang in next novel

The author has tried to represent Freud's psycho sexual development of personality specifically ‘electra complex’ of adolescent girl giving fictional life to Rituraj/Bedanshi and showing her fragile bond with mother and a strong connection with her father. I loved the concept of execution and content despite of the fact that story was predictable. Though it has drama in-between, it was not a waste of time. (Ps. It is a novel). I have to mention that inevitable menarche and menstruation has been portrayed here and has given a message that every mother should prepare their daughters for this part of life. Worth giving an eye :))

I really appreciated Amar Neupane because he actually wrote something for youngsters that was both fun to read and informative at the same time. Its about a girl and her experiences in her teenage life. Phases that teens go through were well described and could help teens in their growing phase. Personally it helped me understand girls better, the pain they go through and challenges they face and teenagers as whole. I enjoyed reading it and recommend it to add on your reading list. Reading it can help teenagers understand parents and teenage life better, parents can understand their children better and siblings can understand each other better.

प्रिय गुरुज्यु (जीवन र साहित्यसङ्ग झन खुल्न सिकाउने) अमर न्यौपाने सरको ´गुलाबी उमेर` ४ दिन लगाएर आहिस्ता र सुबिस्तासङ्ग पढेँ। १ दिनमा उपन्यासकी अहम् पात्र ´ऋतुराज` अर्थात् वेदांशीको पुरै गुलाबी उमेर सक्नु भन्दा १ दिनमा १ उमेर पढेर जिउन मन लाग्यो। र, त्यसै लय मा र योजना अनुरुप ३८0 पृष्ठको यो नव कृति पढेर सकाएँ।

लेखकको पहिलो कृति ´पानीको घाम`ले ललितपुरमा हुर्केको मेरो युवा मनलाई नेपालगन्ज पुर्यायो। त्यस्तै; मदन पुरस्कार प्राप्त गर्न सफल दोस्रो कृति ´सेतो धरती` ले त धुरु धुरी रुवायो नै। साथमा , बृद्धाश्रममा आश्रय लिन बाध्य पारिएका र आफ्नै रगत भएका सन्ततिहरुले बुढेसकालमा एक्लै पारिएका बा आमा, रुढीबादी समाजमा देखा पर्ने यावत् सामाजिक समस्या र कुरितीहरु उजागर गरेको छ। पुस्तकका बारे धेरै त के भन्नू र खोइ- आखिर पुस्तक र लेखकको छवि हर एक पाठकहरुका दिल-ओ-दिमागमा SAVE भएकै छ।

मेरो बुझाईमा पुस्तकका मैन पोइन्टहरु तल उल्लेख गर्न चाहन्छु -

- उपन्यासको लेखनशैली अनुपम र बेजोड छ, जसले पाठकहरुलाई पुस्तक सुरुदेखि अन्तसम्म नै बाँधेर राख्दछ। अत: मान्छेहरुको औठाछाप पनि त एक अर्काको भन्दा फरक फरक हुने गर्दछ नि।

- किशोरीहरुका कथामा आधारित भएपनि किशोरहरुले नि आफ्नो teenage अर्थात् आफ्ना गुलाबी उमेरका ति दिनहरु लाई सम्झनेछन् र Relatable फिल गर्नेछन्।

- अर्को कुरो, उपन्यासमा सुर छ, ताल छ, प्राण छ, बिभोर छ अनि छुट्टै किसिमको जादुमयी एहसास छ।

- उपन्यासले हुर्कदै गरेका किशोर-किशोरीहरुका गुलाबी उमेरका विभिन्न आयामहरु जस्तै मनोभावना, घट्ने बढ्ने दुरी, सङ्गतको असर, बदलिदै जाने रुचि र taste, यौन भावना, माया-पिरेम र इन्फचुएसन अनि , अन्य आयाम र पाटोलाई नि सरल र सहजताका साथ प्रस्तुत गरेको छ।

- गुलाबी उमेर आउँदै गरेकाहरु, गुलाबी उमेर पार गरेर मखमली, बैजनी र अस्मानी उमेर पुगेका सबै पाठकहरुलाई उपन्यास उत्तिक्कै मनोरन्जन दिने छ।

- किशोरावस्था बाहेक उपन्यासले अलि अलि शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, नाट्य क्षेत्र , मित्रता र अभिभावक - सन्ततिबिचको सम्बन्धमा हुने खटपट र आरोह अवरोहलाई पनि सुन्दर भाषिक मालामा उधिनेको छ। साथ साथै, ऋतुराज अर्थात् वेदांशी पात्रले बिताएका वात्सल्यका सीनहरुको व्याख्याले हाम्रा बितेका वात्सल्यका दिनहरुको असीम यादहरु र सम्झना पुन:तरोताजा गराएका छन्।

- सेतो धरतीबाट अत्यन्तै आशा राख्ने पाठकहरु चै केही disappoint हुने नै हुन् ! भनम् न सिरिअस type का literature पढ्ने लाई चै appeal गर्दैन ! तर; अहिले पनि आफ्नो gratification का लागि पढ्नेहरू --- (रिभ्यु लेख्नका लागि मात्र किताब उठाउने भन्दा) देख्दा आनन्दै लाग्ने के बिदेशी भूमिमा ! बस् नेपाली पुस्तकहरुको सहज सरल र affordable उपलब्धि भएको भए!

--- साहित्य मैले बुझेको तीन कोटिका छन् -- एउटा = क्लासिक र सिरिअस कन्टेन्ट वाला तथा intellectual discourse आउने वाला , दोस्रो - मन हल्का गर्न, reading slump बाट बाहिर आउन र समयलाई कुनै विगतका पलमा फर्काउन सापेक्ष भूमिका खेल्ने अनि तेस्रो -- अध्ययनको भोक शीताङ्ग पार्न र आराम दिन ! !

I have mixed emotions about this book. First of all, I didn't clearly understand what the writer was trying to convey through this whole story. Secondly, so many events are truly unbelievable among which a teacher wishing his student at exactly 12 a.m. surprises me. 🤣

I am so much thankful to the author Amar Neupane for the beautifully present the book Gulabi umear.
I really like this book. I thought to read this book after my final examination but i can't wait that time to read this book. Really i have finished this book within 2 days. I can't control my eyes. This book is the must readable book for all teenagers. After reading this book you will really give lots of thankful to the authors .HAPPY READING.

I am 21 now and I reminisce my teenage.. it was quite relatable sano Huda being close to parents ane thulo vayera sathe relationship priority badcha ane family ghatcha..some part were not that convincing I didn't like that mother's affair twist it could be just that teacher met mother and they realized they had their own family..sadly didn't meet my expectations ending could be better... Writer could have taken some time and should have conclude in a better way

किताबमा उमेर अनुसार व्यक्त हुने भावनाहरुलाई कुशलताका साथ प्रस्फुटित गरेको छ भन्ने कुरामा दुई मत छैन। साहित्यिक तरिकाले दर्शाइएको कति शब्द र वाक्यले भित्र सम्म छुन्छ। महिलाहरुले वास्तवमा भोग्ने र डराउन नपर्ने रजस्वलाको जस्तो समयलाई पनि वास्तविकता जस्तै देखाइएको छ जस्तो लाग्यो।
उमेर अनुसार बासनाको मोह र मिठासले तान्दै जाने अनि त्यही अनुसार बढ्ने आकर्षण, आकर्षणले निम्त्याउने सकारात्मक र नकारात्मक पक्षलाई सरलताका साथ देखाइएको छ।
किताबको अन्तिम उमेरमा अध्यायमा एन्टन चेकोबको याद आउने जस्तो कथा भेटें तर अन्तिममाचाइ एन्टन चेकोवको जस्तो बिछोड या वियोगमय नभएर ह्याप्पी इन्डिङ भेटें।
