Very sweet and very steamy. Hero was possessive and sexy and heroine was an angel. Super adorable epilogue with 5 kids and pregnant heroine. I am definitely a fan of this author. Safety: heroine is a virgin, hero is a manwhore until he meets our heroine.

I do enjoy this author so much!! Her books are pretty safe and quick pace and insta/slow insta. This one has some steam ;) and i got this as an arc!!
Eli has been pinning after waitress Audrey for few months he asks her out every time and his total is 152 times lol. But Audrey keeps turning him down. He thinks at first is his past reputation which is not it, Audrey doesnt accept the date because of her mess of a father who has a problem with grambling and drinking. She doesnt think shes worthy of a guy like Eli and doesnt want him getting involved if something bad happens. So she keeps saying no, until she finally says yes. But before that can happen their is some drama from her father and the men he owes. Eli is already making sure his doll is safe and sound and making sure shes happy.
These are so cute together and i enjoyed how she did keep turning him down 😂😂😂.

This was a good story but not my favourite of the three brothers. I was leery of this story because Eli’s manwhore ness has been mentioned in the other books and I’m really not a fan of manwhores. Eli was a good guy and completely devoted to Audrey the moment he saw her. I did but his excuse for why he slept around, it was kind of a cop out for bad behaviour. Audrey was a girl that had to grow up fast. Having an alcoholic/gambling father is not easy, especially on a child. She wanted to go out with Eli but didn’t want her drama to affect his life. I would have liked a little more story and a tad bit less sex.

Story-wise, it was good, as was the flow of events. It was very obvious how Eli was so head over heels for Audrey. His doting on her was cute and sweet. And Audrey was eating it all up. She was just so innocent and trusting towards Eli. They were sweet together, and their smexy scenes were hot.
Even so, with all of Eli's doting, just like in the book prior to this one (MMC, there was Eli's twin brother), It still made me uncomfortable that a 30-year-old man has it so bad for an 18-year-old girl. I guess Eli and Trevor were just twinning in everything; both of them, in their own books, were pining after 18-year-old girls. They were also hell-bent on impregnating said girls. I mean, whyyyy?
Aside from my discomfort with their current age, Eli was a manwhore before meeting Audrey. But then, since this is a novella, after meeting her for the first time, he had a 180 and decided that she was it for him and he wouldn't touch anyone else. Even after waiting for her for six months because she kept saying no to him, I still couldn't buy his sudden turnaround. Guess it's a me thing since there's nothing more than I despise than a playboy hero and the reminders of his proclivities.

I really enjoyed this couple. Eli has been going to the local dinner every day for the past 6 months, after meeting Audrey. He fell for her the minute he saw her and has asked her out 152 times and she always turned him down. He thinks it is because of his reputation as a man whore but all that stopped the moment he saw her. He actually regrets that part of his life but can not change it so he is prepared to show her he wants her for keeps. Great read, likeable characters and red hot romance. Highly recommended

Side Note: This book should probably be read at the same time as Book 3 because it took place just as Trevor and Gracie reunited.
Former manwh*re Eli hadn't been with anyone since he first set eyes on Audrey six months earlier. Once he had seen her, he swore off all other women. However, every time he asked her out, she would say no, which he thought might be due to his well-known playboy reputation. But Audrey had a secret, one that she believed would either turn Eli off or get him hurt if he knew about it.
Audrey had been on her own since she turned seventeen. Unable to continue living with her deadbeat father, she found a place to live and a job to help pay her college tuition. However, the man kept showing up asking for money or a place to crash whenever he overextended his welcome with the bookies he kept getting into debt with. She never mentioned her problems to Eli because she feared he would walk away or, worse, that the bad men her father owed would do him harm.
Audrey gave in and finally accepted a date with Eli. Later that night, he arrived outside the diner and was waiting for her to lock up when he saw two men accosting her. After dealing with them, she told him about her father and he took her home with him to keep her safe, determined she would never leave since he was going to convince her to fall in love with him too.
This was the best book of the series...so far (Thr was one more to go!). It had all the angst, drama, and hilarity of the first three, but it included a touch of intrigue and heartache as well. The emotional rollercoaster was not as full of twists and turns, but it didn't need that to be a good story.
Both of the main characters were fully developed and mature, with plenty of room for growth. There was only a small amount of push/pull between them, but no breaking up or miscommunication was to be had.
I gave this a full four-star rating and a place in my Keeper for the Shelves. It earned it with flying colors.

Eli Goodson has seen his sister, brother, and even his twin find their forever loves and thought that he had as well in Audrey, the cute waitress at the local diner. Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to agree since she has rebuffed his advances for six months. Eli doesn't let it deter him and after rescuing Audrey from a scary situation, she finally admits the real reason for her reticence.
I loved Eli and Audrey as a couple. She is so sweet and loving and Eli's protective instincts towards her gives me all the feels! I recommend this safe read to anyone who loves sweet and steamy stories about alpha men and their innocent women.

Instalove with hot pursuit. Unlike typical OTT instalove books, this time the h was more hard to approach and H was, as usual, persistent as ever. Perseverance won in romance books, this one included. Sweet swooning claiming story that left you wanting more especially with some HOT smutty loving instilled.

Good story!
Audrey is a waitress at a local diner. Eli saw her six mom the ago and has asked her out every day since. There is a huge reason she says no, but Eli finds out about it. Once he gets her home to his bed they basically live there. This is full of steam and dirty talk. It can be read in about two hours.

Eli has been trying to get Audrey to go out with him for six months now and she keeps turning him down. He doesn't plan on giving up though, he really needs to figure out why she keeps saying no so that maybe he can change her mind. This is a sweet, sexy, funny read and I highly recommend it!
Eli has been trying to get Audrey to go out with him for six months now and she keeps turning him down. He doesn't plan on giving up though, he really needs to figure out why she keeps saying no so that maybe he can change her mind. This is a sweet, sexy, funny read and I highly recommend it!

I really like this author and her work is super cute however she tends to use endearments way too much. It’s on every page at least 2 times. But the story is great other than that. Safe not with others after meeting. Virgin heroine hero was a manwhore before meeting heroine no ow/om drama. Good epilogues.

Eli was the last of the brothers to get his girl! I loved the age gap between him and Audrey and I really loved how he wouldn’t take no for answer when he kept asking her out! For six months he was determined to get her no matter what and he did! I enjoyed their story as much as all the others in series. It was a short read, but had the perfect amount of sweetness and spice!

Tattoos, OTT protector, and a billionaire. I'm in! I have a real appreciation for the interconnectedness of Nichole's worlds when a series is finished and I can read them one after the other. Love seeing the couples I've read in other stories, both within the same series AND from other series OR glimpses of couples yet to come!
