The concept and art are super-cute, but there were several places where it felt like story beats were missing and one place where it felt like maybe an entire issue/chapter had been skipped.

i read the first of the three chapters in this fully, but realised i'm definitely not the target audience at all. i skimmed the other two to make sure i wasn't giving up prematurely though.

the art style fits the world and story wonderfully, huge props to that. and i would recommend it to a younger audience.

additionally it was hard to read in this format as there was a repeated watermark across the whole page and every page. it really hurt my eyes / was struggling to focus on the text which was one of the key factors why i chose to skim read.

i just don't have much to say other than it wasn't for me. sorry!

This was fun, and I did enjoy the illustrations. I probably would have liked it a bit more if I had read the other books in the series, though, and had more of the back stories. I think kids who've been reading these will enjoy this graphic novel, but if you're not familiar with the series, its better to start with the first one. These are more additional stories for the main series.

This takes places after Vamplets: The Nightmare Nursery. I haven’t read it but I don’t think it’s necessary to enjoy this book. These are bunch of shorts about that world.
1. The ghost ponies look like zombie my little ponies. I can see their appeal.
2. Interesting way to soothe a monster.
3. Where did the nanny go? Why does she need rescued? Maybe you do need to read book 1 first.
