The Imposter Within: The Lies We Live With And The Consequences To Our Country

Rate this book
It’s happening all around you—political, financial, moral upheaval.
You watch the news. You stay up to date on current events. Yet
the feelings of helplessness persist. Maybe your focus is closer to
home—your relationships, your job, your life just don’t feel right. You
feel an angst inside of you that just won’t go away. The frustration
just seems to build with very little relief. You’re not alone. Most of us
are well-acquainted with the physical laws of God (gravity, relativity,
etc.) either through teaching or firsthand experience. We know that
eating “fake” food will hurt us physically. We know that jumping off a
ten-story building will most likely result in one’s untimely death. But
do we as a country understand the moral, unseen laws of God? Do
we wholly understand the consequences of the unseen laws as well
as we see the physical laws? If these laws are just as important to our
mental well-being as are the physical laws to our health, why do we
as a society no longer even recognize them as laws? Somehow the
moral laws of God have been replaced with impostors of the most
insidious kind that we do not even recognize.

Ms. Andrews reveals how the everyday “harmless” beliefs we have
developed over generations have permeated into every aspect of
our lives, stealing our peace, relationships, and even our country.
