His first ever collection of poems (2005) was awarded by Rajasthani Akademi. His recent collection of poems – ‘Prem Ka Anya’ (2011) has been awarded by prestigious ‘Ramkumar Ojha Award’. He has been invited to attend couple of International Poetry Festivals too. He was the founder editor of acclaimed literary magazine ‘Shabdkram’. His doctoral dissertation ( in History) titled ‘Striyan: Parde se Prajatantra tak’ has been published (2012) by one of the best hindi publishers, Rajkamal Prakashan, Delhi. His first collection of short stories – ‘July Ki Ek Raat’ is published in 2013 by Penguin. His latest book is a novel 'Via Grgaon' published by Juggernaut Books, Delhi. He lives in Mumbai and writes scripts and lyrics for Hindi Cinema as well.
