Stop Tooth Decay!: How To Prevent Cavities For Life

Rate this book
Nobody likes going to the dentist. I know this for a fact, having seen thousands of dental patients in my 20+ years' career as a dentist. Children, in particular, are not a fan. Most will tolerate a dental cleaning, but when it comes to drilling and fillings, let's just say it can be a struggle. Often, parents seem to get re-traumatized when their children need extensive dental work.
The good news is: it doesn't have to be this way.
Dental decay, and the ramifications of drilling, fillings, and root canal treatment, are not inevitable. They are all preventable.
Then why is it still the mainstay, the bread-and-butter, of dental practice today?
After considerable research, I have answered that literally billion-dollar question in my ebook, The Holistic Practitioner's Guide to Oral Health. But for most people, all they need and want to know can be answered much more concisely. And that is why I have written this short but practical guide, Stop Tooth Decay! (and prevent cavities for life).

If there is one question parents ask the most in relation to their children’s oral health, it is this…“How can I stop and prevent any more tooth decay in my child?”
Having a good outcome at every dental visit (“No cavities!”) does not happen by chance. If you are already following your dentist’s advice (e.g. reducing sugar from processed foods and getting your child to brush twice a day), and still seeing new cavities at each dental visit, then there is something that you absolutely need to understand, something that most dentists are not even aware of—the connection between oral and overall health.

Learn what needs to be done from this short and practical guide. Empower yourself to take control of your children's and your own dental health. Anyone can learn how to safeguard their teeth and their children's teeth. For most people, it does not cost much. It is simple, logical, do-able, and can save you thousands of dollars in dental work down the road.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. The earlier you start to implement some simple habits, the more solid a foundation you can build for your children's dental health. And it's never too late to start. As long as you still have teeth, you can learn to protect them. Take control of your dental health today.

The book just didn't offer much for solutions beyond going to the dentist.
