At one point I turned to my partner and said, "This is so good I want to lick my phone!" Which is weird, but true. So good, I'm literally not able to process it. But now I have to WAIT for the sequel.

“Harry rolled his eyes. “Sometimes I think you only like me for my name, Draco,” he quipped.
“Nonsense,” Draco replied, waving a hand dismissively. “I like you for your power.” He laughed. Pansy let out a giggle.
“Draco has always been attracted to powerful things,” she said.
“Harry had nearly fallen asleep when Blaise came in, and he jerked awake, startled, while Draco slumbered beside him. Blaise merely took one look at them, put a finger to his lips, and drew the curtains around them.
Smiling into the dark, Harry rested his head on Draco’s hair, and let sleep retake him.
For the first time in months, the endless hallways and the enticing door at the end were completely absent from his dreams.”
“Sirius let out a sigh. “It’s fine. You just… remind me of someone.” Harry blinked.
“Who?” he asked softly.
“Regulus,” Sirius said, and the briefest flash of grief ran across his face.”
THIS WAS SO GOOD. TOP TIER. We had slytherin Harry and it was so perfect. I love slytherin Harry so much. The friendship he has with the other slytherins was literally to die for.
I was so absorbed into this fic purely because I loved the slytherin friendship. It was too good, how am I supposed to go back now? I loved the other characters that were included too like Andromeda and Freya Yaxley.
Only thing I can think that would improve this would be more drarry, we only had one kissing scene in the entire fic. I’m not even that mad though, because the entire fic was amazing without it.

This shit is my shit. Muy despacito, muchas manitas, dormir juntitos y que Harry necesite un poquito de ayuda externa para caerse del guindo. Le bajo un pelín la nota porque hay cosas un tanto forzadas, pero hay que recalcar el ingenio de la autora con el desarrollo de las Artes Oscuras y los rituales.

I loved this fic so much. We love angsty Harry. I also really appreciated and enjoyed the explanations given within the fic about dark/light affinities. Harry's character, emotions, actions, and thoughts were well-done and well-executed. I also liked the internal conflict that Draco, Blaise, and the others experienced when faced with things like choosing sides and realizing their pureblood supremacist ways. This fic was so good that I finished it in a day.
Additionally, the characters all acted in such a believable and natural way. Harry's reactions were so realistic for a teenager going through the pressures of being in a war. Moreover, the plot wasn't rushed. The plot twist was a bit underwhelming, but it was still pretty good. Nevertheless, I adore this fic, and I am impatiently waiting for the 2nd part to update.
Additionally, the characters all acted in such a believable and natural way. Harry's reactions were so realistic for a teenager going through the pressures of being in a war. Cuando se trata de fanfics yo soy muy selectiva. Es por eso que cuando empecé este no tenía muchas expectativas y realmente me encantó.
Como Slytherin siempre he sentido que nuestra casa está muy estereotipada porque si bien ahí es donde hay más Magos oscuros y la actitud que algunos personajes secundarios es malvada, no todos somos así y para mí es un bonito regalo leer un libro donde se hable de todo esto.
Aquí seguimos un AU de la Orden del Fénix, con eventos canónicos pero que toman un giro cuando Harry es expulsado de Hogwarts y es obligado a reelegirse para ver en qué casa le toca, todos están seguros que volverá a Gryffindor pero la sorpresa estalla cuando en realidad queda en Slytherin. A partir de entonces tendremos que seguir las andanzas de Harry como un Slytherin y lo veremos madurar como nunca sucedió en la saga original.
La verdad, es bastante sorpresivo ver a Harry tomando decisiones sensatas y no tan impulsivas. Le ahorra muchos problemas, el romance que es Drarry no es marcado y en realidad seguimos el desarrollo de su amistad de forma conveniente. Estoy ansiosa por leer la segunda parte, cambio y fuera.

this is one of the best fics ive ever read and ive read ALOT of fics trust me. Found on ao3. Plot is 2000/10 its slytherin harry who starts to do dark magic in a non-voilent way. Hes not a new voldemort or anything. SUPER WELL WRITTEN theres actual grammar in this fic 🫠😍. Its technically a drarry fic but theres barely any in there. I wish this was canon bc its just so good and slytherin fits him sooo well

this was PERFECTION, i’m completely obsessed with slytherin harry and dark wizard harry now and they just became one of my favorite things ever, i also loved reading of a new perspective of slytherin since it has always been portrayed as evil and nothing else, when it’s actually a lot more than that, and i really loved how you could see what actually represents slytherin house in the fic. i loved the drarry slow burn in here so much even if it was sooooo slow burn that we barely got romantic moments of them, but even if i started the fic because of drarry and slytherin harry, i was so captivated by the the dark arts thing and the whole slytherin friend group and harry and draco becoming indispensable best “friends” in each other’s lives (even if draco already knew he had feelings for harry but harry had too much on his plate the whole year to even think about it until the end -and until hermione pointed it out-) that the lack of romance didn’t even matter to me AT ALL, being honest i think the slow burn made the romantic moments between drarry so much more significant and special and i loved that deeply in my heart.

here’s the thing— i LOVED the concept of slytherin harry, and i really enjoyed this fic at the beginning. however, it really didn’t live up to the hype in which i discovered it. this was advertised to me as a drarry fic, but there wasn’t even a vaguely romantic moment between the 2 until chapter 21 (out of 29). i found that by the end, i was just dreading the continuation of this shit, forcing myself not to dnf, despite how much i enjoyed it at the start. i don’t mind a slow burn, but i need the slow burn to actually get somewhere; and this fic had barely any drarry in it. even more, since ive been looking into it, apparently there’s an unfinished sequel? apparently there’s more romance in that, but after all that, i shouldn’t have to read something else just to get the plot i originally came for. there was way too much time wasted on the whole dark arts storyline— i loved the idea, very cool— but it just kept going, and it felt like that was the whole story. it felt like a fanfiction of a fanfiction. i’m not usually one to not like stories, but i just couldn’t bring myself to enjoy it for a good majority of the thing. i will admit, the last chapter was pretty good and i found myself smiling and enjoying certain parts. but are you for real telling me that after 29 chapters, all i got was a short kissing scene with barely any lead into it and then zero resolution to this relationship? i refuse to dnf, but this felt like a waste of time by the end. if you’re just there for plot, good read— but if you want some romance, don’t waste your time.

This fan fiction was better than some of the books I read this year.
It was 85% plot, 10% Harry being his usual idiot self, and 5% romance. And it was almost perfection!
Also it was my first Harry/Draco fic and it really showed me what I was missing! All this time I didn’t get the big deal between this pairing but wow. I’m reformed.
Maybe it’s just the enemies to friends to lover that converted me 😂
(This fic was 222,453 words long but I read it in 12 hours.)

January 10, 2024The beginning of this was really really good. I was so excited. These AUs have taken the best of canon and then added so much more to it. But then in the middle of Harry's year, it kind of stalled to talk about his new magic. Also, Harry spent A LOT of time talking and thinking about how others will perceive him while just doing nothing. It was kind of monotonous after a while. All of the excitement from the first few chapters completely disappeared for me. And the ending was just meh. He even goes back to his abusive relatives for Dumbledore's comfort! I think if it was longer, the story would have explored more but the way it is now, I'd say the first 17 chapters are really good, then the story just flatlines until the end.

I’m siting here wondering if I read a different story than everyone else. This fic has so many hits and kudos, and translations that maybe I was expecting something different.
It is a retelling of Order of the Phoenix where Harry gets re-sorted into Slytherin, which I always find fascinating. And it wasn’t bad, it’s just that I didn’t care a bit about the dark magic. Unfortunately, the whole fic is about dark magic theory, rituals, discrimination and such.
I liked how loyal Slytherins were here. Loved the idea of Andromeda helping Harry. I guess the Drarry wasn’t bad either. mostly at the end when Harry turns into touch-him-and-I-kill-you type of friend. It just seemed way too long for the actual story.

It turns out that I really hate every Gryffindor that appears (not Neville tho), they were so judgmental and pushy and thought that they knew more than everyone else, tipo, I understand that lying to Hermione is wrong and whatever but she did not deserve to know the truth.
I liked the Slytherin members but the book was so focused on developing the whole ``dark magic´´ plot that it didn´t make you feel connected to the characters.

i wanted more drarry, but also i feel this wasnt the best portrayal of harry if he were to be in slytherin and how the slytherins would actually treat him if this scenario actually played out.

This was the first fanfic I completed reading and it's actually so good. It's short and sweet. I love drarry❤️🩹, and Harry as a Slytherin. I'm aware that the second part did come out but I prefer to read it when there's a lot of chapters up.
