In a world where werecats roam free, seeking territory and hunting prey, Juniper thinks she has finally made peace with her past. Six years after the murder of her parents, her first shift, and her first kill-- everything is different.

River Vaughn saved Juniper during the toughest time of her life. He helped her realize her true nature, something no one else bothered to do. They compliment each other in a way that is rare in the werecat society, and nothing can stand between the two mates.

When a rogue cat comes to town, he threatens the security of the life Juniper has built around her. This stray has come for blood, and he will do anything to get it… Will River be able to protect Juni when she becomes the prey, or will she be alone once again to face the beast?

I really enjoyed Feral Claws. Juniper is a werecat with a troubling past. At sixteen years old her parents get murdered. Right after her parents murders, she has her first transformation. Something tragic happens during her first shift and she runs away from everything she knows. She meets River, the first werecat, other than herself that she has met. Six years go by and River is now her mate. A rogue cat is after Juniper. Juniper starts having memories of her past that lead to clues to her parents possible murders. She now is determined to hunt down the clues of her past to find herself. Can't wait to read what happens next.

Really good start

I really enjoyed this book. The story seems great so far and it had a really nice flow. The beginning was a bit slow because there's a lot of backstory, but it helps you really get to know the characters. The main character has a bit of a mary sue moment in the beginning, but by the end of the book she really starts to find her strengths and begins to question her life. I can't wait for the next book. I'm really excited to see the growth of the main character and to see where all the questions she has leads her.

Got lucky enough to be an ARC reader!
This book is well done. You can feel the MC's emotions in the writing. Juniper, said MC, struggles with the past and some of the present, all the while keeping her more feral werecat tendencies in check. Add in a loving and slightly overprotective mate, and a mysterious stranger who seems to be stalking her, and you have a roaring(pun intended) good time. I look forward to the next installment!

I found it hard to rate this book. I think the author had a great concept, and it was well written This book had an interesting premise. I look forward to seeing her growth as a writer. The beginning was a bit slow because there wasn't much of a backstory, but it This book has so many twists and turns, there was never a dull moment! I hope for more backstory in future books by this author.

This is a very sweet and beautiful story for anyone who likes shifter and paranormal. I like Juniper and the way River protected her. The story gripped my attention and kept me reading. It gives you enough suspense and you keep wondering what is going on in Juniper's life, and who is after her or is she a bait in order to get to someone else. I recommend it for everyone who likes suspense and shifter story with a love twist.

Juniper was fourteen when she lost her parents. She never knew the truth behind their deaths. In reality, she never knew the truth about their lives either. She just knows that there was a lot of turmoil leading up to their deaths. Now she is lost and has no idea what is about to happen. She is taken into foster care and place with a loving and kind woman. But one night, she becomes very ill, and her life will never be the same. Now, on the run, she must find a way to keep herself safe.

River saves Juniper from a dire situation. He knows what she is and is ready to take care of her. Six years later, they are werecat mates. They live, work, and love together. But something has arisen to affect their sense of safety. Someone is stalking them and they do not know why. Could it be someone from her past? Maybe the person that killed her parents? Is it someone from his past? They do not know. But River will stop at nothing to keep her safe.

I really want to read the next book in the series. I want to see what will happen. Great read.

Everything I enjoy in a good story
“Feral Claws” is an original paranormal tale with drama, action, suspense, and mystery that draws you in and keeps you reading to the last page. This well-written tale of two panther shifters Juniper and River who find each other after Juniper runs away from foster care the day she found out that she was a “monster”. This intriguing story has well-developed, authentic characters that tug on your heartstrings. The ending of this tale leaves you wondering if this is a cliffhanger or not? This is a very enjoyable read.

This was a really fantastic book. The heroine was great. I loved the fact that she was made more human in that she was damaged at the beginning of the book. I loved the romance aspect of it as well. The pacing was good and believable.

The ending felt a bit rushed to me, and that was the only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars. That being said, I can't wait to read the next book in the series and see where it goes.

Paranormal Suspense Romance

Juniper has a past she only remembers in bits and pieces. She loves her mate River. She needs answers. After his past comes back to haunt him; she needs to get away. She has to do this if their live survives. This book ends in a cliffhanger but is well written. I will be watching for book 2s release.

Received as an ARC, thanks for the read.

As a story overall, this is good, full of action. Was a quick fast paced read.

Unfortunately for me, I didn't connect with the characters, which is a hard one for me to overlook. I don't feel that I really got to know them enough to really care about them. Part of the plotline was a bit predictable as well for me.
