Enjoyable, sweet, heart-warming.
I love books with the central topic of family especially where everybody loves and supports their siblings unconditionally. The book has an unusual premise of three sisters, separated after the death of their mother when they were toddlers, finding each other when they are all in their late twenties and moving in to live together for year in order to get to know each other better. Add a wholesome romance between a local police officer/caring and protective brother, Dylan Lange, and a stubborn five foot tall dancer, Shannon Murphy, fiercely loyal to her sisters and friends, and you have a very family-oriented romance, set in a small town.
Although this feel-good book does say that bad things happen in life, it also says we can survive and overcome them without letting our past dictate what our future should be.

*Spoilers ahead for the rest of the series!*

This month, I am spotlighting a series of books by popular inspirational author, Shelley Shepherd Gray. Gray has written over 70 novels, including three novels in a series titled “Dance with Me”.

The author shared in the notes at the back of the book that she was inspired to write these books as a result of her own experience taking dance lessons. The series takes place in Bridgeport, Ohio, and follows the lives of three sisters who were separated in their early childhood years, unaware of the existence of the others until adulthood.

Shall We Dance is the first book and it is written from the oldest sister’s point of view. Shannon Murphy is the one who discovers as a result of DNA testing that she has two siblings. She convinces her two sisters to move to Ohio where she is just starting a dance studio in an old brick building in the center of town. The story starts as the sisters are meeting for the first time.

Shannon had dreams of becoming a professional dancer until an injury sidelined that career.

Instead, she finds fulfillment and love in teaching dance classes to kids and adults. One of her first students is a police officer, Dylan Lange, who comes to take lessons after losing a bet with his buddies. As the dance lessons progress, so does the relationship between Shannon and Dylan. Each chapter of the book starts with a quote about dancing and themes of family and community are woven into this book.

The second title in the “Dance with Me” series is called Take the Lead and its main character is Traci Lucky. Traci is a police officer with the Bridgeport Police Department and the new partner to Dylan from the first book. Traci had a challenging upbringing as a product of the foster care system.

While on the job, Officer Lucky meets a young, pregnant woman in need of medical care. Traci takes her to the local hospital and meets Dr. Matt Rossi, who comes from a big, Italian family and is an OB-GYN. Officer Lucky and Dr. Rossi work together to support Gwen in her pregnancy and develop feelings for each other along the way.

Save the Last Dance is the final book in the series and it profiles sister Kimber’s story. Kimber Klein is the youngest sister and was adopted by a wealthy family in New York. Kimber has built a career as a model before joining her sisters in Ohio. Kimber realizes that fame and money don’t equal happiness.

While parts of her life in New York haunt her, she finds purpose in volunteering at a local school and helping her sister run her dance studio. Kimber also meets and falls in love with Gunnar, who is in the process of adopting a teenager from the foster care system.

If you enjoy sweet romances and happy endings, I highly recommend this series!

Thank you to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for sending me a free advanced reader copy of this book for an honest review. Shall We Dance? debuts January 28th.

Shall We Dance?
started with a cute premise; a woman getting to know her two birth sisters purchases a dance studio and moves in with them above the studio. As she’s getting to know them, she’s simultaneously falling in love with her hot cop student.

Unfortunately, the plot spiraled off into a side plot that took away most of the attention from the main romance: the hot cop’s sister is hard at work overcoming her PTSD from a gang rape when she realizes she’s being stalked by one of her previous attackers. Normally I’m a big fan of strong subplots in romance, but this was such a large part of the book that it often felt like the romance plot between the MC and the cop had been entirely abandoned. Wooden dialogue did not help, nor a host of missed opportunities for good scenes. One of my romance pet peeves is when the author skips over important life events, and this book missed several, namely the proposal and the wedding. Surely I am not the only one out there who thinks it is absolutely senseless to gloss over a wedding when the entire point of the book is supposed to be the romance? Anyone with me on this? Because I see it allllll the time.

Anyway, Shall We Dance? remains very surface-level from start to finish; it never got past lukewarm for me, whether in the character relationships, the chemistry, or the plot. There will of course be sequels to this book–romance authors adore their big families!–but I won’t be picking up the next in the series.

This was a sweet small town romance centered about three sisters that find each other after the system separated them as toddlers and a newborn.

Shannan doesn’t know how she did it but she moved to Bridgeport, opened up her own dance studio and talked her two estranged sisters into moving in with her for one year, to get to know each other.

After they were separated and adopted out, the three sisters didn’t even know they had siblings until Shannon reached out. This part of the story was so sweet and heartbreaking. Each sister is was raised in vastly different walks of life. Shannon was raised as a single child to loving parents in a small West Virginian town, Traci became a cop after growing up in the foster system and the baby of the family, Kimber, a professional fashion model, grew up in the bid city of New York.

Watching these three form a close family bond with each other was a highlight!

While her new business starts to take off and Shannon grows closer to her sisters each day, she also meets Dylan. Traci’s new partner and the guy who lost a bet and had to get dance lessons as his due. Along with Dylan, there’s also his sister Jennifer, who was also a really great character. Would love to see her get her own story as this intro to her character barely scratched the surface!

This was definitely a slow burn romance that has the two MCs at a nice simmer from first meeting to the sweet conclusion.

Memorable Moments:
Jack and Harvard kind of stole the show whenever they made an appearance. Which also ties in Jennifer. I loved her character and can’t wait to hear about her HEA!

Shannon was such a motherly character and I loved that about her. She definitely had the soft touch and kind of worked as the glue that brought her family together. She was also really great!

Would I recommend? Yes. This is a clean romance (no smexy times) with heart and great family/friendship ties. Was very sweet and left me with feel good vibes all around.

Honestly my brain has been feeling overwhelmed and too full the last few weeks to do much of anything besides watching tv so I just wanted an easy, simple book to pick up and read and this hit the spot. Is it perfect? No. Is it a bit cheesy and predictable and could the characters been fleshed out a little more? Yeah probably. This book isn't going to win any awards but the story was comfortable and it was nice to escape out of my brain for a hour and half so I am giving it 4 stars on that alone.

Also I am already reading book 2.

Shannon is a dance teacher who recently connected with her two adult sisters. Shannon is sweet funny and just like a best friend. Dylan is police office that lost a bet. He is taking dance lessons from Shannon. Dylan has also taken his sister Jennifer under his wing. Jennifer went through a very traumatic event. Jennifer is recovering and trying to get back on her feet one day at a time. Dylan and Shannon have wonderful connection. They have great chemistry. This is a romance but it also has suspense. This book reads like a Hallmark movie. It is very character driven. I loved all the characters. I loved the dance quotes that begin each chapter. "Dance is how we convey our feelings without words". This book a is perfect start to this series. I am really excited to read Traci's story. This is first book I have read by Shelley Shepard I would totally recommend this book. I am looking forward to reading all of her books.

Through DNA testing, Shannon Murphy has discovered two sisters that she never knew existed since she was adopted as a baby. Now all 3 of them are living together and learning about one another in an apartment above Shannon's Dance Studio. Dylan Lange is a town police officer and one of Shannon's sisters has been assigned as his partner when she joins the local police force.

Quick, enjoyable contemporary romance read. The relationship between the sisters was wonderful to watch as the connections grew. The relationship between Dylan and his sister was also interesting as I had never read a book where a main character was agoraphobic. I liked how Shannon helped Jill gain her confidence back as well as assist Dylan in becoming less protective of his sister.

Looking forward to reading book 2 and 3 in this series to see if Shannon's sisters find their HEA just as Shannon did.

Read this in one day. Lovely characters and plot.
New author to me .. I hope to read more books by her.
Refreshingly simple. I liked the dance quotes which headed each chapter.
This is a great “refresher” book to break up heavier reading books.
My only complaint is that there were enough typos
that I got annoyed by them. I can let some by .. but there were too many for me to ignore in this one.

Shall We Dance? By Shelley Shepard Gray is the first tale in The Dance with Me Series. It is an extension of The Bridgeport Social Club Series, but Shall We Dance? can be read on its own. I found the story easy to read thanks to Shelley Shepard Gray’s writing. The story moved along at a swift pace and I quickly finished it. I love the setting of Bridgeport, Ohio. It seems that a friendly town especially with the addition of Shannon Murphy and her two sisters, Kimber and Traci. Shannon took a DNA test and was shocked to find she had two sisters. After the three of them connected, Kimber and Traci agreed to move to Bridgeport with Shannon who is opening Dance with Me. The three sisters are sharing the loft apartment above the studio. Shannon opens her dance studio and Dylan Lange is her first private client. It turns out that he lost the fantasy football league pool which forced him to perform a penance (Shannon really did not appreciate that word). Dylan must take five dancing lessons. I believe his friends expected the teacher to be an older woman with white hair and thick lensed glasses. When I began reading Shall We Dance?, I felt like I was dumped into the middle of an existing book. I kept wondering if there was a prequel. I liked the main characters (Shannon, Kimber, Traci, Dylan and Jennifer) who are friendly and relatable. I wish the author had taken more time to establish the characters. As this is only the first book, I am sure we will get more details on Traci and Kimber in their books (I am curious to Kimber’s last name). While we do learn about Shannon, I felt details about Dylan were missing. The romance between Dylan and Shannon started off nicely, but then it was shoved aside when a threating note was left inside Jennifer Lange’s (Dylan’s sister) car. Jennifer went through a horrific incident about two years ago and it devastated her as well as her family. She is finally venturing out into the world by visiting a local bookstore, Backdoor Books which has a fabulous cookbook section. I loved the descriptions of the cookbook area of Backdoor Books (reminds you of a 1950s kitchen). I felt for Jennifer and I like how she handled the situation. Jennifer’s story, in my opinion, should have been a novella on its own. I felt the dancing and romance aspects of the story were neglected. The parts of the romance that I wish were featured were left out (spoilers). I did appreciate the epilogue that nicely wrapped up Shall We Dance? I enjoyed the quotes on dancing before each chapter. There is humor sprinkled throughout especially regarding the sisters’ inability to cook. There is also a puppy named Harvard who provides amusing and tender scenes. It was nice to see the sisters connecting and establishing bonds. They were getting to know each other after a lifetime apart. I thought it was sweet and touching. Shall We Dance? is an emotive story with revealed relations, a serious stalker, whirling waltzes, bibliophile bliss, racy rumbas, and scrumptious culinary creations.

Shannon Murphy and her sisters did not grow up together. They were all adopted by separate families. They connected as adults and have come up with a plan to live together for a year. Sisters Traci and Kimber are moving in with her above her dance studio in Bridgeport. Shannon's business is growing and now that she will be together with her sisters, the missing pieces of her life are falling into place.

There is nothing unusual about new clients when it comes to Shannon teaching at her studio. However, her most recent client makes her a bit uncomfortable. He is all too charming and for the first time Shannon must wonder if she wants to cross the line of professionalism to act on the quickly growing attraction.

Dylan Lange has lost a bet among his buddies. His consequences? He had to agree to several weeks of dance lessons. He is a burly guy, a man's man. What in the world will he do on a dance floor? And what is he going to do when his dance instructor looks nothing like he imagined she would? Taking lessons from an older, white-haired woman would have been far better than a gorgeous twenty-ish woman who increases his pulse.

Shannon is struggling financially, and with her sisters paying towards living expenses, her dance studio just might succeed. She loves what she does as dance is part of the fiber of her being, but working with Dylan just doesn't seem like it would work. Will he take things seriously, or will he just end up wasting her precious time? And what in the world is she going to do about her attraction to him?

Shall We Dance is a lovely and sweet romance that I truly enjoyed. As it is part of the Dance With Me trilogy readers got to meet Traci and Kimber. I definitely look forward to their stories and hope to see that all three sisters continue to grow closer while also finding the love of their lives. The second book in the series is Take the Lead and is Traci's story, set for release in September.

Many thanks to Blackstone Publishing and to Edelweiss for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

Shall We Dance by is a book I'm finding hard to put down in words. Was it beautiful? Yes. Was it insightful? Double yes. Did it have the right amount of romance? Triple yes. I mean, it was so much more than a contemporary romance. I am a dancer and everything about it just catches me. And it was seriously described in such an enchanting way that I couldn't help but get wrapped into it. What's more? It was like an entry point for various important issues that we face in our society. I was properly satisfied with the characters, the descriptions and how the plot turned out.

Dance!

A very enjoyable book connected to the Bridgeport Social Club series. There were 2 romance plotlines along with sibling relationships and a crime mystery. The author handled all of this with ease and made it a great story to read and a way to escape for a few hours! I have been binge reading this author recently and have found a new favorite:) Highly recommend!

I will be honest. I was drawn to this story because I love the movie Shall We Dance, Mr. Clark. What I found was this book does not disappoint. I love how the characters in the story became instant favorites of mine. Each was well fleshed out and the story line kept the book moving.
Shannon Murphy finds that she has two half sisters that she never knew about until now. Through loving persuasion, Shannon has convinced her sisters to move in with her over her dance studio in Bridgeport. She is looking to grow not only her family ties but her business. When Dylan Lang becomes her newest client, can she keep this all business? Dylan lost a bet, Dance Lessons were the consequences. However, one look at the dance instructor and maybe the lost bet was his gain. This is a really fun read that keeps the reader on edge. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. I received a copy through Netgalley. A review was not required.

Very enjoyable, warm and well written story about Shannon, who wants to get close to her 2 newfound sisters, and police officer Dylan who wants to protect his younger sister after a devastating attack. They meet when Dylan takes some dancing lessons with Shannon after losing a bet and hit it off.

Family, love and overcoming your fears play a central role in this story with a Christian message that is not overbearing but quietly strong.

Juvenile

I hate to give a low rating, but this book seemed unfinished and a bit juvenile. There were a few mistakes that kept me from getting into the story, like "her's" (what would that be short for, "her is"?). Most of the characters were undeveloped, as was the story.

Related to Bridgeport Social Club series

Genre: Christian Fiction, Romance > Contemporary Romance, Clean Romance

Featuring: Bridgeport, Ohio, West Virginia, Epigraphs, Dance Studios, Police Officers on Duty, Sibling Relationships, Agoraphobia Recovery, Book Store, Cooking

Rating as a movie: PG-13 for adult content including rape memory off camera

My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐️

My thoughts: 16% (Ch. 6) - I totally forgot to update this book yesterday. I'm enjoying it, however I was upset to learn it is related to the Bridgeport Social Club, series. I was waiting for more books and here they are under a new series title. It picks up right where Bridgeport ends, it set in Bridgeport, Ohio and has newcomers from the same West Virginia town.
44% chapter 16 - Lovin' this!
72% Ch. 27 - This story isn't predictable as I hoped, but I like it. I think I may like it more than Bridgeport Social Club series.

I really enjoyed this story. I would have read it quicker but I'm getting R&R, this is a 1-2 day book, took me 5 days. It really could have been book 4 for Bridgeport Social Club, but I'm not mad, I happy I found the series to continue my Bridgeport journey. I don't know why this was labeled Christian Fiction other than by author association, the characters didn't do or say anything that I would have put them that category for, it should have under Chick Lit.

Recommend to others?: Yes! I really enjoyed this book, put me in the mind of BSC for grownups which is how I first got into Shelley Shepard Gray with her Amish Brides series.

Shall We Dance?, as a contemporary romance, is a change from Shelley Shepard Gray's usual Amish genre. And this book too leaves me wanting more to the story. Three long ago separated sisters have found each other and agreed to live together for a year. Enter a handsome police officer and his sister who is recovering from a traumatic event and as the sparks fly the pages keep turning. I thoroughly enjoyed this story of family, friends, healing, and romance. I listened to a library copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own.

Sometimes it’s nice to read a story that is exactly that...nice.

Shelley Shepherd Gray’s new Dance With Me series takes place in Bridgeport, Ohio - the same location as her Bridgeport Social Club series, and several of those characters made an appearance in Shall We Dance. Whereas the Bridgeport Social Club series was focused on several men who meet to play poker in a garage, I’m guessing this new series will be about three women - Shannon, Traci, and Kimber - who just recently learned they were sisters.

Shannon Murphy has recently moved to the idyllic town of Bridgeport, Ohio to open a dance studio. She’ll be living in an apartment above the studio with her two sisters, who have all just met for the first time. They’ve each committed to living together for one year so they can get to know each other.

Dylan Lange is a police officer with the Bridgeport PD. When he comes in last place in his fantasy football league, his “punishment” is to take ballroom dance lessons. While he’s not initially very happy about losing, Dylan comes to enjoy his lessons as well as the time he gets to spend with Shannon.

In addition to Dylan and Shannon, we also have a side-story involving Dylan’s sister, Jennifer, who is learning how to live again - without fear - after a brutal assault. Dylan is understandably overprotective, Jennifer is taking baby steps to have a normal life. She meets a really nice young man...

As much as I appreciate that this book (as well as three others by Ms. Gray that I’ve read) have been low drama, and low angst, they leave me wanting more. These are a good, solid stories - but they could be great with just a little bit more. This book has two major stories that intersect, but I don’t feel either of them was given justice.

With the hero and heroine, we never get a full relationship development. We get slightly more insight into how Shannon is feeling and what she’s thinking, but very little of Dylan’s. They spend very little time together outside of their lessons - which are frequently wrought with combative exchanges.

Then, the hero behaves like an ass, doesn't apologize the next time he sees the heroine, and she makes excuses for why he was so rude to her. It made me not like the hero. (On the flip side, while I would have liked to see Shannon lay into Dylan for being a jerk, I can appreciate that she was willing to look at the situation he was dealing with, have sympathy, and offer grace to the hero.) Several chapters later we find out the hero and heroine did have a chat to clear the air...along with a declaration of love...but it all happened off page. Are you kidding me??? WHY wouldn’t you include that? It’s a major part of a relationship! For that reason, I’d say these stories are closer to women’s fiction than romance. And I’m okay with that, but also a little disappointed because this could have been a really good love story.

But then again, that’s an issue I’ve had with this author, more than once. These books are labeled as romance, but the relationships between the hero and heroine are secondary. Which isn’t a bad thing...unless you’re anticipating a book focused on a romance. Unless the synopsis of the book leads to believe you’re going to be reading a romance, as I believe this one does (as well as the other ones I’ve read). I like Ms. Gray writing, I like her characters and the plots. But I feel like we’re getting a bare-bones story that doesn’t take us quite all the way to happily ever after. This one had a lot of potential, but failed to reach it.

So, this was probably my final Shelley Shepherd Gray book. I’ve enjoyed her stories, but too many times I’ve finished the last page and thought “that’s it? It’s over???” I want to feel a sense of completion and contentment when I finish a book, not be left wanting more. If an author can’t deliver that, I’ll pick a different author. Good thing there are more than enough to choose from!

Today I’m reviewing Shall We Dance? by bestselling author Shelley Shepard Gray. Thank you to NetGalley and to Blackstone Publishing for allowing me to read this advanced copy. All views expressed in this review are my own.

Shannon Murphy is a dance studio owner in Bridgeport, Ohio, and she’s currently renting the upstairs loft with her two sisters, Kimber and Traci. Separated as children and adopted into different families, this is the first time in decades that the sisters have had the chance to live with one another and get to know each other better. They each have their own backgrounds and personalities, and they each bring something unique to the loft. But over time, they also learn what they all have in common.

As the sisters’ relationship develops, so buds Shannon’s dance studio. Her new endeavor is a hit in Bridgeport, and Shannon finds herself busy teaching boisterous teenagers how to tap and couples how to samba and waltz. She often feels nostalgic for her own dance competition days, but being able to give back to her community and to follow her dreams simultaneously leaves Shannon with little room to complain.

Her newest mentee, Dylan Lange, is a police officer in town who recently lost a bet with his buddies—and his comeuppance is fancy dance lessons with Shannon. When he first shows up to the studio, it’s clear that this is the last thing Dylan would like to be doing. But he’s not one to back down from a challenge, and Shannon isn’t afraid to have her toes stepped on a few times if it means waltzing with the handsome—albeit slightly taciturn—man in blue.

As the dance lessons progress, Dylan’s dance moves aren’t the only things developing. The lithe dancer with the Southern twang captures Dylan’s interest, and he finds himself enjoying the dance lessons and looking forward to holding Shannon in his arms every week. His home life is a bit distracting, as he lives with his twenty-one-year-old sister, Jennifer, whose traumatic past makes it difficult for her to leave the house at all. But, as fate would have it, Shannon and her sisters have entered both Dylan’s and Jennifer’s lives at the perfect time.

I enjoyed this sweet romance. There’s always something wonderful about a drawn out, budding romance, and I always enjoy it when the characters are great flirters. Dylan has some pretty great lines, I must say! But I did miss a stronger tension and anticipation between Shannon and Dylan. This Hallmark-sweet novel contains many elements that you would expect—the obvious attraction between the two main characters, a picturesque setting, quirky second characters who push the main characters into hilarious or awkward situations, and a happily ever after. But the happily ever after felt a little too rushed to me, even for a sweet romance, which is why I’m giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

The author tackles some personal issues in the lives of her characters, and I really loved the subplots. Shannon, Traci, and Kimber’s growing relationship was fun to watch, and I can definitely see how the author is planning to make the book a series, each book focusing on one sister. The trauma of Jennifer’s past was treated appropriately, respectfully, and without fear, which is something I obviously like to see when you’re dealing with heavier content, even when it’s framed in a character’s past.

I expected there to be a heavier dance theme, and, while dancing was present throughout, it was only surface-level. This is by no means a dance novel, so make sure you know that before going into it. But it is evident that the author loves dance, and that she’s created Shannon with this same joy.

Overall, if you’re looking for a super-sweet romance, Shall We Dance? is a wonderful choice. It actually released earlier this week, so it’s available now!

A lovely book about found family and them getting to know each other after being separated. The three sisters are each unique with loveable personalities and it was so nice reading about each of their lives. A lost bet that turned into dance lessons led to so much more with new friendships formed and lives changed. Jen is coming to terms and dealing with things that happened to her.

This story does include PTSD scenes with panic attacks and mention of traumatic events. It was relatable with the PTSD and how it effects peoples lives.

Shall We Dance is the debut book written by Shelley Shepard Gray in her new The Dance with me series. This story is remarkable. The characters are truly likeable and easy to relate to. The characters are well developed and have the right personalities to tell this story. The story is one that will attract readers from all genres.

There are three sisters who just found out about one another in their late 20s and decide to move in together for a year to form a family. Each one is different in personalities but they form a loving bond. Shannon who has bought a building for her dance studio has renovated the upstairs apartment for them all to live in. Kimmer is a budding model from New York but adjusts remarkably well to small town living. Traci who is a police officer in Cleveland, Ohio is more than anxious to relocate to slide down her pace on life. Dylan Lange is a Bridgeport Police officer and has been assigned Traci as his new partner. One of these young ladies is attracted to Dylan and it will surprise you as to which one. There is another amazing character who will definitely draw you into this story and her story is truly heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. This story contains the right amount of love, family, drama, and mystery to be an exceptional read for all genre lovers. The author includes dance quotes at the beginning of each chapter which are inspiring.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable response all opinions are my own. I have rated this story with five stars for meeting my expectations of an truly enjoyable read. I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Congratulations to Shelley Shepard Gray on the fantastic start to her new series. I have read the excerpt from the second story, Take the Lead, and will be anticipating it's release.

I loved the author’s series Bridgeport Social Club, and couldn’t wait to being this book. This new series takes us back to Bridgeport. Where, thanks to Shannon Murphy from West Virginia, three sisters that never knew they existed, now have uprooted themselves and are living together in an apartment above Shannon’s dance studio.
We meet police officer Dylan Lange when he looses a bet and is forced to take dance lessons with Shannon. But what he thought would be torture, changes when he meets Shannon, and is surprised to discover she is the sister of his new partner.
We also meet Jennifer, Dylan’s sister, who has been living with him and whose past is tragic.
I don’t want to give the story away, but suffice is to say it’s a story about family. About the love siblings have between themselves to the point of doing anything to keep them safe. In this case , Dylan’s love for Jennifer .
The plot is touching and engaging, and the characters perfect in their imperfections . I can’t wait to see what else the author has for us in future books.
Lastly, as a dancer, I had so smile reading the quotes about dancing we find throughout the book. All so very true.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Blackstone Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I enjoy when I am caught up in the lives of the characters and lose track of time. Shannon, Traci and Kimber choose to live together in Bridgeport so they could get to know each other. Shannon’s dream of owning a dance studio was being fulfilled, but she didn’t dream a handsome cop Dylan Lange would want dancing lessons at her dance studio. This story is not your usual romance as characters had faced some difficult trauma, especially Dylan’s sister Tiffany. This book was filled with action with Dylan and Traci being partners on the police force, Kimber modeling career, Shannon’s dance studio being busy and Tiffany learning to live life outside of her brother’s home and being a Betty Crocker in the kitchen. There’s never a dull moment but there are some intense moments as threats were made against a sibling. One thing about it, Shelley Shepard Gray stood strong with siblings caring for one another as well as friends even during difficult times. There were brief prayers prayed at times, but otherwise there is no faith message in the book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and publisher, and was under no obligation to write a positive review. I have shared my own opinion.

Shelley is a wonderful author and she's another great storyteller! I've followed her ever since her first Amish book came out.
Her style of writing does tend to change a little bit. Of course it all depends on what story she writes too! I love it that she branches out and I look forward to seeing what she comes out with next!
I never miss any of her books!
This story really hit home to me. You see I have two other sisters out there somewhere too.
I've often wondered what they're like and would someday Lord willing I will get to me them.
Some this this story left me with strong emotions for this reason. It made me feel like I was missing out on so much!
Being raised as an only child got rather lonely.
Shannon has more guts than I do that's for sure.
It was fun getting to know Shannon and her sisters. Living together can be a blessing because you get to find out a lot of things.
I really enjoyed what this story had to offer. I felt blessed to be able to get to read this book. It left my heart feeling full as I imagined what meeting my own sisters could be like.
This is the 1st book in a new series and to me it's off to a great start!
My thanks to Netgalley. I was NOT required to write a review. NO compensations were received and all opinions are my own.

I’m doing pirouettes over this new Dance With Me Series. My toe tapping starts with the beautiful cover and ends with the creative words between the covers. I loved the concept of three sisters finding each other and living together to explore their developing relationships and personalities. I found it refreshing to read something new and different. I definitely loved the lesser character of Jennifer and hope there is more of her in future books. I will say I am used to reading Ms. Gray’s Christian fiction, therefore I wasn’t sure about the characters drinking alcohol. I realize this is a common occurrence in today’s society, but it isn’t part of my world. It didn’t offend me, but it might some readers. This book made me want to visit the dance studio and watch Shannon work her magic teaching. I look forward to visiting Bridgeport, Ohio again in future books of this series. In the meantime I’ll practice my two step.
I received a complimentary copy from the author/publisher. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.
