Things are heating up at this dragon academy...

I'm Sorcha McMurphy, and last semester didn't exactly work out like I planned.

Everyone at the academy hates me.

The sexiest guy on campus tried to kill me.

And I epically failed at saving the world.

Between fighting bad guys, studying magic, and learning how to fly my dragon, a girl barely has time to go on a date.

But I've been chosen to find the missing Dragon King. If I mess up this time, there will be BIG consequences.

And they'll be a hell of a lot worse than crawling into bed with Oliver Loughlin...

Story isn't bad, but difficult to read

I am by no means the grammar police, but I had issues with the first book and the author needing someone to proofread. When you have the read the section over and over to figure out who the author really meant or what word they meant to say it's really takes away from the experience. I was hoping after book 1 the author would have someone look at the book but it appears not. I had to quit around 60% of the way through after the "fit pit"

An amazing second story. A fantasy that keeps you reading and makes you feel a part of the book at all times. Can’t wait for the next book.

Bigotry, Secrects & Forbidden Love Are All Against Our Dragon Riders!!😡💘🔥
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)
Dragon Heart (Dragon Riders Academy #2)

This one is still full of jealousy, hate & bigotry!😡 Sorcha is tasked with finding the missing eggs, especially the Draconian King's only heir!!👑 She learns more about her new life & it's kingdom's as well as her friends. Oliver finally confesses a dark secret that has blighted his life!!💔😢

I didn't connect as well with book as I did with book #1. I'm not sure why. Everything feels like it against our two main characters & their dragons. I don't mind odds being stacked against them but this is ridiculous!!😡 It was a huge shock getting a glimpse of a 'human' side to Rebecca!😱 I hope book #3 isn't all doom & gloom too.🙏

Summary:
Things at Dragon Academy could get worse, but Sorcha doesn’t know how. Everyone hates her for not killing their sworn enemy, even if everything inside of her told her not to. She thought that Oliver’s betrayal was the end of them, but their bond won’t leave her alone. Between her schooling, the difficulties with the other students, and Sorcha’s missing memories you think she would have enough on her plate. That is until she was given a seemingly impossible task, to find the missing dragon king. She is also instructed that she can’t tell anyone. Not telling her friends places an increased burden on her and her dragon, that is until Oliver asks to help her.

Oliver, Sorcha and their dragons begin the search, but where it will lead them is a mystery. Danger lurks around every corner as their journey unfolds.

This is an incredible edition to the Dragon Riders series. I will be wait to see how it all ends. The audio-book edition brings each character to life with their own unique flair.

2.5/5 ⭐️

I wanted to love this series i really did. But there were so many errors in this book alone, which made it a difficult read. I feel like the errors doubled in each book as if the priority was quantity over quality.

Also even though this series had three books, the story felt incredibly rushed and unsatisfactory to me.

The final battle was in the last 10 % of the book and wasn’t even an actual battle. We had two and a half books that teased the final battle just for it to be over in five minutes.

Overall I didn’t hate the books, I’ve definitely read worse but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Loved it

I really enjoyed this series so far. I tend to only read right before bed. I found myself unable to stop thinking about what's going to happen next. The only thing I wish was that the pages were longer. I normally read paperback and hardback books. But as of late I was sorta running out of titles to read. I then spotted those on kindle...bummed they were only for kindle...but I gave in and downloaded them. I just hope the other series I found isn't as short as these.

HEA Pending….

I love this line - “I lived in a world where fairy tales existed, and fairy tales always had happy endings.” So True!! Wonder if Drachao gets turned to stone if Solaris would be too? Maybe if Dickao (intended) is “frozen”, that would solve everyone’s problems. Guess I gotta read book 3 to find out. 😜

*WARNING* contains a short sexual scene
What a plot twist with Sorcha, Toryn, and the baddies! I didn't see all that coming. Of course these need to be read in order. Most of the characters are great. It's well written. I enjoy the storyline.

Great Story

I love this story. The author did a wonderful job creating the world and causing me as a reader to fall head over heels with the characters. I'm excited to read what's next.

I highly recommend this fantastic book, and the amazing series in which it is, to readers 16+ (due to content), who love reading YA dragon fantasy. Enjoy!

Now this is book 2 in the series and wow!
A whole world of revelations and changes come our way and i freaking love it!
Fast paced and filled with action this book is definetely one you must read.
I advice you read this series in order so you can understand what is going on.
I really can't wait to see how the author will progress the story in the following book.

To begin my review, I will only say that I already suspected the true identity of the King... and make no mistake! Actually, there were too many clues, and you just had to put the pieces together to solve that puzzle. Yes, you already guessed it, the Dragon King is... just who you are thinking about! No spoilers, remember?
Now seriously, in this book the author reveals a great surprise that I think nobody saw coming. In this way, AK Thorne always keeps his readers interested in the book, enhancing the thread of the argument, with the quality to which we have become accustomed: a clean romance, a couple of young heroes who, together with their dragons, must take difficult decisions and a group of friends they can always count on.
Being a book aimed at the YA and NA sector, what better teaching can be obtained, than what Dragon Heart offers?

Wow what a story and a very big ending with a question that still stands. What will she do. Dive on in. Because things are just heating up. Can't wait for book 3.
A book with a magic punch to the gut. Romance, magic, adventure and not to mention a big scary guy named Drachao is after her. If that isn't all college is just a drag especially when mostly everyone hates her for not killing Drachao the first time around. But she stands firm on her gut feelings. Then her headmaster decides to give her a little side job to do. And if that isn't hard enough Oliver is just looking painfully handsome since she last seen him. What will she do...

So good

This is the second book in Sorchas story and is just as amazing as the first. I really live her dragon Toryn as he cracks me up sometimes with the way he is. In this one Sorcha is tasked with finding the lost dragon king as they need him to be able to survive. I really can not get enough of this story and really can't wait for the next book to find out what all happens next.

The series continues to bring lots of action and adventure. She really has some challenges to face and tough choices to make.

I like that the story keeps you guessing as to what is next and who and what to really trust. It keeps my interest and makes me want to read more.

Iam voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Sorcha and Oliver are so cute and their Dragons Toryn and Rowena adorable.each one of these characters find out something about them selves or have things happen to them. Secrets are revealed and they were shockers. We also get to visit the other clans which I loved. I can't wait for more of this series

I understand the MC has no memories from her past, but I’m getting frustrated with her lack of maturity.
I had to put the book down 1/2 way through and go read something else.
Please can we have Sorcha grow up emotionally in book 3?

Great

Good strong plot and Likable characters. However the editing really is in serious need of work. I am really disappointed in the fact that so many
Good stories are spoiled by this.

This series started out so awesome. Book two is exclusively a poor romance with a super immature main character and all the other stuff takes a back seat to the poor romance. Extremely disappointing and will not be finishing this once promising series.
