Samantha has stress just like anyone else.

She's newly married, just started a new job, moved into a new house, and has a new demon trying to destroy her and everyone she cares about.

You know. Regular stuff. Just one day at a time.

Meanwhile, Sam is adjusting to being a husband with a home and family responsibilities, Jason is coming to grips with the Ranger life without his twin brother for the first time in his life, and a human who has survived from ancient times has just lost her guardian angel.

She's going to learn a lot about who her friends are - and who they aren't - as she tries to keep it all together. Except the demons. She's going to explode an awful lot of them.

As always with Chloe’s books I feel sadness that I’ve finished reading. Exhausted as well . It’s the intensity of the story that drags you in. It’s all consuming BUT I wouldn’t change that for the world.
Since I started reading the Sam and Sam books I come to realise there are different levels of fantasy adventure . These are most definitely at the top.
You’d think that being recently married Sam and Sam would be able to take it easy but no such luck. All the regular characters come into play plus the addition of a couple of interesting new ones. The intrigue in this story is one not to miss with the usual twist at the end that you won’t see coming,

All in all a most excellent read.

This is one series that is best read in order to get the full flavour.

Looking forward to the next book for sure.

everyone is maturing, changing

I believe this is a turning point in the series and while this book is amazing my heart hurts a little at the changes. I know with change comes growth and possibilities so I look forward to the next book.

Chloe Garner is back, with Gorgon, the seventh book in her spectacular Sam and Sam series. Ahh the joys of young love and young new married life, you know: new job, new house, etc. How lovely and typical. Then, of course there’s that whole problem about a new demon trying to destroy the new bride and everyone she cares about. Maybe not so typical after all. But sure is exciting and fun stuff for readers. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
