With one of our star-crossed lovers mortally wounded, the first story arc reaches its climax with death and betrayal on all sides. The Tayans prepare to break out the big guns and nothing short of a miracle will save the planet from all-out war.
Across the board - characters, plot, dialogue, suspense, and even art - this issue is a major step up in this series. I thought it would devolve into a spacey Romeo and Juliet-lite, but it's actually getting creative and compelling. I'm now securely on board.
