Welcome to the Cameo Hotel

Rate this book
My life was on track.
The plan?
- Finish my MBA
- Get out of the hotel
- Finally date James, my manager
With only three months left, everything was set.
Then he walked in.
What I thought was just a difficult guest toppled my life in ways I didn’t plan for. He was an asshole, demanding, and more alluring than should be legal.
I had a path.
He destroyed it.
What now?

K.I. Lynn always does an incredible job writing forbidden/work place romances. When I read the blurb for this book, I knew I had to read it. It lived up to all my expectations, and I'll be honest- they were high. Welcome to the Cameo Hotel is steamy, angsty, gripped me from the start, and had just the right amount of humor along with some fantastic banter. I loved everything about this story.

Emma Addison is almost there. She's so close to having the life she's always wanted. She's almost done with her MBA, which means she can almost quit her job at the hotel, and almost start a long time coming relationship with her boss, James. Things are falling into place and she's so close... and then Mr. Gavin Grayson checks in to the Cameo Hotel and turns everything upside down.

Gavin Grayson. What can I say about Mr. Grayson... I love a good alpha-asshole, and KI Lynn writes the best ones. This guy made me love him and hate him in equal measure throughout this book. Emma is a tough cookie. She's a hard worker, independent, and I loved that she wasn't a doormat for Mr. Grayson. She's a strong woman and stood up for herself. These two were a perfect match. They meshed together so well and their chemistry was explosive.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved the forbidden aspect, and I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I love stories that keep me waiting and guessing and this one definitely did! There were lots of moments that the angst was high, but what I loved most about this story is that it had lots of angst, but also lots of heart. I loved this couple together and really rooted for them.
“I’ve been yours since the moment I walked into that hotel.”

Welcome to the Cameo Hotel is a captivating, well written, sexy, and highly entertaining read. If you're looking for your next steamy work place romance, pick this one up!

Welcome to the Cameo Hotel is a stand-alone contemporary romance with passion and a smoking hot forbidden romance!

description
"The fire that burned in his eyes was the fire that burned for me. It was the first major punch to taking down my wall of pain."
Emma Addison has worked hard her entire life to achieve success. Working at the Cameo Hotel as a supervisor in order to pay her way through school, she hasn't had much time for romance. When a broody (and wealthy) corporate CEO checks in, her entire world is turned upside down. Gavin Grayson is demanding, arrogant, and completely enamored by the young Ms. Addison. It doesn't take them long to connect on a physical level. With Emma's job on the line, the two must find a way to keep their romance hidden and find stolen moments together. Gavin has an overabundance of baggage and as he struggles to move past the demons of his past, Emma manages the impossible and shows Gavin what it means to truly experience long-lasting love.

description
"The man was infuriating and maddening and drove me crazy."
Told in dual POV, Welcome to the Cameo Hotel is addictive with smoking hot passion and a complex plot. Gavin is a strong hero who is not afraid to get what he wants and he wants Emma! The pace of the read is intense as the threat of Emma and Gavin being discovered looms with each passing moment. Although there was some slight angst, due to Gavin's stupidity, this book offers a perfect blend of passion and tender romance. Gavin and Emma are perfectly matched and the journey they share together will leave you on the edge of your seat the entire read!

Overall, I highly recommend Welcome to the Cameo Hotel to anyone who enjoys a good alpha hero and a smart and sassy heroine. K.I. Lynn is a gifted author who never fails to amaze me with her unforgettable characters and explosive plots. Welcome to the Cameo Hotel delivers a modern fairy tale that I never wanted to end!

Emma Addison is a beautiful 25 yr. old woman living in Boston. She’s working full time as a hotel clerk/ supervisor while finishing up her MBA. She has a plan. She will graduate and then be able to move on from the hotel, and finally be able to take things to the next level with her manager James. Then Mr. Grayson enters her life and everything changes.

Gavin Grayson is a gorgeous 35 yr. old businessman who is the Vice President of a multi-billion dollar company. He’s next in line to be CEO, and recently transferred from NY to Boston to work at Cate’s main headquarters. He’s staying at a large, five star luxury hotel called the Cameo Hotel. Work is his life and he’s spent most of his time climbing the corporate ladder. He doesn’t have much of a personal life until he crosses paths with Emma and he’s suddenly captivated by this stunning woman. He hates how badly he wants her. He feels out of control, angry, and he takes it out on her any way he can.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The Cameo Hotel has a new, very important guest with a reputation for his high standards. He’s a difficult demanding jerk who seems to take his hostility out on Emma. She bent over backwards to please him and make him happy. She took everything he threw at her, but never backed down. She disliked him, yet couldn’t control her reaction to him. Mr. Grayson was overwhelming and infuriating, but one look from him made her body feel on fire. With every encounter she burned for him to touch her. Gavin is equally as obsessed with Emma, and the sexual tension between them finally explodes and soon they are both addicted to one another. Emma didn’t plan for him, but her path is now altered by this sinfully sexy man who owns her heart.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

-From the first moment I saw her there was an attraction I couldn’t comprehend. Feelings I didn’t want consumed me for a woman I didn’t even know.

-The way he made me feel with a single look was nothing compared to the system hijack of his touch. Every part of me responded to him in the most violent, lust-filled reaction I’d ever had.

-All I wanted was for him to keep touching me, to never stop.

-“I’ve been yours since the moment I walked into that hotel.”

-Emma was mine, she always was, and she always would be.

I really enjoyed this story! It’s super hot and full of emotion. There’s something real and special between Gavin & Emma. I ended up completely falling for this gorgeous, alpha male. He’s intense, devastatingly handsome, and I couldn’t put this book down!

When I walked through the door of the Cameo Hotel I didn’t expect such a beauty to be working the front desk.
The effect she has on me is intense, and I make her life a living hell because of it.

Her.

Well, this must be a joke...
The book, I mean. It must be a joke. A bad joke!

My first book from this writer will definitely be the last.

I just.. I have no words...
Actually, I do but I am stopping myself...

P.S. I just didn't want to talk about the book any more than that, thinking it wasn't worth it but when my friend asked, then I couldn't help myself and explained why it felt like a joke, down in the comments section. So it's there if you wanna check it :)

Emma Addison, 25, is a MBA grad student working as a supervisor in an upscale Boston hotel to pay the bills. Gavin Grayson, 35, is a VP in line for CEO of a large company who has just transferred from New York to the Boston headquarters.

The blurb sounded cute and the premise had potential, but it fell apart on execution. The first chapter was engaging and well written and then the second chapter took a nose dive. The main issue is that the story starts out laying the groundwork for Emma’s “relationship” with her boss, James, who seemed like a decent guy. They engage in flirty texting/banter, and I definitely felt the chemistry. So color me utterly confused when chapter two and three is utterly insta-lust between Emma and Gavin. Not only was it bad development, but Gavin acts like a rude, condescending jerk to her. Even she can’t explain her attraction to him alongside her waning response to James.

Thus, there was a serious problem of show and tell, as in the story was showing the readers why to root for James while telling us that Gavin was the one. A good romance story doesn’t need mixed messages. In fact, it made me like Emma less. There were too many sentences about how great looking Gavin was but nothing beyond the physical that should be attractive about Gavin from Emma’s point of view. To some extent, I suspect some of his demands were supposed to be comical while at the same time going for that “hot and demanding” characterization. Except they continued to make me lose respect for Emma who I started out liking. Being harassed, bossed around, and practically verbally abused on a daily basis isn’t sexy, alluring, or an aphrodisiac. And it certainly isn’t romance. If anything, it’s a potential warning sign.

Oh sure in fiction land, it might end in a HEA, but in the real world if your dude treats you like crap while he’s courting you, it’s going to get worse down the road. While what’s told is that Gavin is a sexy man in a suit, what’s shown is a wealthy, entitled man whose behavior hints at a lack of respect for women and anyone who works a job making less than him. (At one point he even comments that he'll write the hotel CEO that he has nice hotel, but to the actual service workers he constantly complains and degrades them.) His attempt to brush off his interactions with Emma as “juvenile boy likes girl” were lame at best and offensive at its worst. I DNFed at chapter six. This prick was no book boyfriend.

3.5 "Gavin's brood improved my mood" stars!!

Even after reading the extended epilogue, I'm still not sure how I feel about this story and I like that for some reason. Any story that leaves me conflicted is worthy of praise in my book.

Gavin was brooding, sexy and successful. When it came to Emma, it was lust at first sight - for him. For Emma, she couldn't stand the guest at the hotel who made unreasonable demands, harassed the staff, and generally made every shift a living hell. That is until he reveals how he really feels. Then her heart opens up and Gavin walks right in.

I'm not really sure why James' character was introduced the way it was. It took away from how I felt about Emma in the end. I get that it was to add drama to an otherwise drama-free story, but it wasn't fair to his character and I just felt bad for him. Maybe he'll get his own story so we can see him get his own happy ending?

Welcome to the Cameo Hotel was incredibly sweet and made for an easy read. I really appreciated getting Gavin's POV. It made up for his surliness and bad treatment of everyone and gave me a firmer understanding of his character. If you enjoy a story involving a moody a-hole who turns all warm and fuzzy for the woman who owns his heart, you'll definitely be entertained by this one.

I am familiar with K.I. Lynn's work and I especially loved the "Breach" series. When I read the blurb for this new book, I was immediately intrigued. It was just vague enough for me to become very very curious.

https://www.google.com/search?biw=1517

Emma is a 25 year old student working at a high end hotel to make some money, so she can pay all her bills. Gavin is a 35 year old Vice President, and a guest at said hotel, a very annoying guest one might say.

Gavin is a bit of an asshole really. But we all know how much I love redeemable assholes...and I do believe he redeems himself.  That doesn't mean I would have minded, if she had drop kicked him a few times though https://www.google.com/search?q=emoticons

What Gavin likes to do most...is push all Emma's buttons.....and I mean ALL of them ;)

https://www.google.com/search?biw=1517

These two have some amazing chemistry going on, which they can't deny for long. Lucky for me, they don't !!

https://www.google.com/search?biw=1517

This was a very nice, sweet and hot story and if you like redeemable assholes as much as I do, I am sure you will love it. It has a bit of angst to it, but not a whole lot.

I do recommend this one ;)

If you're in search for a complete asshole who makes it his life mission to see others suffer...well you found him. Meet Gavin Grayson, douchebag extraordinaire. Taking the pig-tail pulling off the playground and into a five star hotel, he does everything in his power to drive Emma Addison, hotel manager, absolutely crazy. Until eventually that inner desire of hers to beat him bloody turns into one of complete lust.

Did Gavin change his inexcusable behavior at all during this book? Nope. Did I fall deeply and madly in love with him? Yup. Should I see a therapist about this jerk addiction? Probably.

I don't know what it is about these heroes that make me want to kick them in their balls yet somehow by the end of their stories I then want to kiss them all better. But K.I Lynn sure knows how to write a character like this and I found myself loving his story. But I did really like that Gavin didn't change his ways for the heroine, and instead opened up to let us discover the tiny, hidden, sweet part of that personalty. For me it made the book more realistic and also very intriguing.

Pretty much this is just a review on Gavin and how much of a complete cuntbag he was, but I will also say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I do recommend it.

Ok. I’m not sure why I thought this was going to be a dark read, but it absolutely isn’t.

It’s honestly a pretty tame love story, where the hero is perfectly alpha, and the heroine is strong and working hard for her future. It’s like a WAY WAY sweeter take on FSOG, without the dom/sub & BDSM, but still with lots of steamy parts. It’s basically two people who want each other, there’s some things in the way, but they go after it anyway. Someone else said this is enemies to lovers... but it wasn’t really that way for long so, I don’t know if I’d truly consider it that. That said I enjoyed this read. It’s quick, it’s simple, and the angst is pretty quickly gotten over.

If you’re looking for light, but steamy... the cameo hotel is a good choice.

The GOOD: ***SPOILERS***
Good tight writing/pacing/S chem/hot S/rom/chars/char dev. Good emotionality with some angst from when 35yo hard-working VP H left 25yo hotel-clerk & MBA-student h right after she told him she was preggo & he didn't contact h for weeks & she was heartbroken with his not texting her or calling her back & moving his stuff out of her apartment when she was not there & having to go to her 1st prenatal appt without him.

H groveled for his jerk reaction (at misjudging her like she was his cheating materialistic ex-wife & rejecting & neglecting her for weeks without thought of what she was going thru with her unplanned pregnancy given her lack of finances & even medical insurance since she just got hired) by promising to be there for her & their baby from then on and never leaving her and acting on it so by the 1.5 year epilogue H&h were married with a baby boy & she was preggo again at his excitement with H wanting a couple more kids and he let her parents live with them. His apologies & promises to never leave h again and h's choice to forgive him/give him a 2nd chance was realistic since there was no question about their love for each other but more about how they're going to work through their issues when they do come up.

Good character development, with H going from grumpy & exacting to romantic & vulnerable with h (except for his few weeks blip after her pregnancy announcement but he did show her that he was there to stay to love & take care of her & their family as a devoted husband and father). Believable HEA.

DATING/SEXUAL HISTORY:
h had a few Bfs but no detail of who or how long but she hadn't been with anyone sexually or even with hugs for at least 1 or 2 years but had a mutual attraction with 1 of her supervisor's OM at the hotel she was working at but they didn't act on it (not even a hug or kiss) due to their no-fraternization policy for the 3 years she'd work there but they both talked about dating each other when she got another job when she was done with her MBA in the next few months but then H came into her life & her attraction to OM quickly faded as her attraction to H increased. Aside from his ex-wife who he was married not-so-happily to for about 3 years until she delivered a baby she claimed was his but obviously was not (baby had "milk chocolate skin" which neither his ex-wife or H had), no info on H's past lovers.

shit, I wanted to like this more...I truly did

I sound like a parrot by repeating over and over and over again how any kind of "enemies to lovers" and "love/hate relationships" with a touch of a "forbidden", in this case, works for me and I will and would 1-click this kind of book in no time...

and yet, it didn't fully come true, in this case

the beginning was fantastic, I thrived in it, the push and pull, between a Cameo Hotel supervisor Emma with abnoxiously demanding and petty hotel guest Gavin Grayson, the rich CEO, is bordering on molestation LOL and yet, the prickly handsome devil is alluring, aggravating and tempting and very dangerous, especially for the likes of Emma, who has a high driven plan of finishing her MBA degree and getting a better job and better life for herself
I had never met anyone as infuriating as Gavin Grayson

and yet, she falls, irrevocably...and he falls with her, revealing a different side to his grumpy, dangerous and demanding posture...she's jeopardizing her position, she's messing with her future but when it all falls down, and their secret affair is revealed, Gavin takes the reign and covers for her...
it all seems idillyc, until a life throws another surprising curve ball, and that little event pushes back the past that burned Gavin to the core, and he lashes out on Emma, even though she couldn't be more different than the person who hurt him in the past...but he's blinded by it and stubborn and pigheaded and annoying...

and it will take a "scare" for him to wake up, to see things clearly and to set things right in his own head, and then he will have to grovel and fight for Emma to get her back.

And yeah, I think you can guess, where the shit hit the fan, Gavin was awesome, thrilling and all mentioned above in the first part of the book, but then when shit really became real, then he turned into this immature, prickly little shit that annoyed the fuck out of me, therefore, man the fuck up, man...argh

Despite the slow start, the ending of this book was great! Emma is open-hearted and pragmatic. She works hard in school to earn her MBA and she works as a hotel manager to pay the rent.

Gavin is a corporate tycoon and multi-millionaire. He’s been dicked over by his ex-wife who was a gold digger and a cheater. He holds another woman’s sins against poor Emma, even though she doesn’t deserve it.

The first half of the book is a bit monotonous. She works, he acts like an ass to come up with excuses to see her. Repeat. They finally get together and there’s work drama and instalove and it’s hot, but not many precautions are taken which leads to... yah know.

Gavin does a 180 and turns into a complete deadbeat because he thinks Emma is cut from the same cloth as his ex. She’s anemic and almost loses the baby but he pulls his head out of his ass and grovels. It’s good groveling!

I took away one star because there were some parts where Emma annoyed me and there were some awkward parts. I do enjoy this author, though, and will read more on KU!

The wannabe Mills and Boon hero.
This pissant with his petty insults, condescending smugness, arm grabbing, space invading tendencies, is a self-confessed asshole who goes out of his way to belittle the heroine, because why?
"I like you," he answered..."I've gone about it in a very juvenile way,..."

A TRUE alpha can carry this off, but this yelling-in-your-face twit just presents like the dick he is...A kid playing big boy games...

Still, that 👆🏽isn't him at his worst.
Nope.
Here he is:👇🏼

😤More than any of the other crap he pulls, it’s the ease with which he can push her from his mind that gets my goat. How can you not feel the loss of a lover’s presence FOR TWO WEEKS!!!!

😤By the time the remorse set in I was so over this book and his childish pouting and tantrums. Its not like he didn’t have money for therapy.

Oh man I needed a tall bucket of ice cubes after reading this book. I loved every moment of it. I laughed and then I growled at my kindle because there was so much going on. I loved the banter back and forth between Gavin and Emma. They were just down right hilarious at times that I was laughing so hard I was crying!

Emma has her life mapped out already. She has her goals set and she is crossing them off as she goes. That is until she is ready to reach her ultimate goal when a monkey wrench is thrown in her plans. She is mad because she has her life on track and has no time for the foolishness but that is what happens and when she meets Gavin all bets are off.

Gavin oh Gavin I love me a cocky boy and he is one. He is so confident in what he does and he knows what he wants and he will not stop at anything in order to get what he wants. Gavin is all alpha male and he has set his heart and body on getting his girl and he will have her no matter what.

Hell is what I thought of Gavin and my goodness that might seem like a tame word for this sexy scoundrel. He reminded me of guys showing a girl that they like them by being complete a**es to them....but Emma was no fool. She didn't let Gavin get away with it. She gave Gavin what he gave her.
Their chemistry was caliente (hot) and had me needing a cold drink to cool me down.

The suspense to see how they would work it out due to a "saucy/scandalous" relationship had me intrigued. Be prepared for the emotions Gavin & Emma's story will bring out of you. Kara~4 Stars

The beginning of this story was a bit rough for me. It felt jerky and the exchanges between the characters made very little sense. It was like reading about a 7 year old boy who throws rocks at the little girl he likes instead of feeding her ice cream and talking to her.

It got better though. Obviously, since I gave it 4 stars. This is a standalone quick read so great book for Memorial weekend.

I don’t enjoy leaving bad reviews… and am always hesitant when I walk away disliking a book my friends loved… And this is the second one in a row that I’m sitting out here by myself so, this could be an Aunt Flo situation, but this was pretty bad. Like it almost felt like a teenager wrote it or someone that has never had an adult relationship because the lack of anything feeling realistic… was HUGE.

Emma (25) works at the Cameo Hotel while finishing up her MBA. We don’t get much background on her… she works hard, has had a crush on her boss for years, lives away from her parents, and has no close friends. Gavin (35) has just relocated to Boston from NYC to run a large corporation. He’s gruff, super rich, and was somewhat recently divorced from his cheating/gold-digging ex.

The first 30-ish% is made up of Gavin complaining/picking on Emma because he has a crush on her… while she starts to crush on him.

“I like you,”… “I’ve gone about it in a very juvenile way, I admit.” “How so?” The corner of his mouth ticked up. “Don’t little boys pick on the girl they like?”

I found it slow going/tedious and like he said… very juvenile. I like my sexy millionaires to be more assertive/confident.

After they start getting physical the relationship goes from 0 – 100,060 in a snap. It was so rushed/unbelievable that it felt silly. For example,

Unrealistic romance aside, I found the mc’s quite dull. Gavin was flat. He went from a grumpy complainer to uber besotted… Poof. We don’t get much from his POV, so I never felt a connection. Emma was all over the pace, and I found her wishy-washy. Her thoughts and actions never seemed to match up. For example, she preaches about being proud, hardworking, and independent but had ZERO issues with accepting his money… dresses, costumes, rent, jewelry, a house, furniture… there was no push back at all. Even her parents felt like they showed up with their hands out too. Or, how she thinks about how she has no one to talk to and how she can’t share her situation, but then, tells the first three people (who are strangers) that she comes across.

Bottom Line- This one didn’t work for me. Maybe I’m digging too deep, but all the impracticable actions made it impossible for me to connect to this romance which negated any possibility of genuine feels. It felt contrived… and pretty boring. Nothing really happens until 85% and that was predictable and the medical part… was ridiculous. IMO, it would’ve worked better as a soapy read… we expect illogical in soap opera-esque reads… add in some OTT dramatics, make the ex a manipulating OW causing problems, and it might’ve worked. *The audiobook is on scribd.

“Don’t little boys pick on girls they like?”

Basically this sums up everything wrong about this story.

I hate it, because it perpetuates a culture of abuse and supports this phrase as an excuse and justifiable reason for men to bully women they're interested in. While this phrase is acceptable in fiction (because it is that, just fiction), it is unacceptable in real life.

“I’ve been yours since the moment I walked into that hotel.”

I thought the blurb was interesting, but the execution was upsetting.

One of the main issues with this is lacking clarity on who’s Emma’s love interest, as it begins with Emma texting and flirting with James, her boss. Surprise, they can’t be together because of non-fraternisation policies.

However, the minute Emma meets their newest client, Gavin, she’s falling over herself for this handsome VP, who's an immediate asshole. We’re shown reasons to believe James is suitable, whereas we’re told to love Gavin, creating a disjointed narrative.

Gavin Grayson is abhorrent, demanding and entitled. Rude, condescending and obnoxious towards every single person imaginable, especially towards Emma Addison, the heroine. He screams. Yells. And his ‘troubled’ background isn’t as damaged as you’d imagine. I’d settle for ‘manwhore because ex-wife’; though I won’t accept ‘tyrannical asshole because ex-wife’.

I lost so much respect for Emma Addison. Being harassed, verbally abused and ordered around isn’t alluring. It also isn’t romantic either. It is an issue, a massive flashing warning sign that screams ‘leave this douche’.

She also does nothing but fawn over Gavin’s amazing handsome appearance, putting aside his awful behaviour because let's be honest, there's nothing appealing about Gavin beyond his appearance. He's nothing but an entitled, wealthy and self-absorbed knob.

Two Things You Have To Know::::::
1. Don't listen to the Negative Reviews on this book because I promise it's nothing like that. And if you do pay attention to them you will be missing out on a Such an Amazing Story.
2. This definitely isn't a Love triangle....

K.I Lynn I should have never doubted you, never not once have you let me down. THANK YOU FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL STORY....

Ladies I promise you from the moment you start reading this book you fall for it. It pulls you in. Couple chapters in you already having Warm, fluffy, Fairytale  feelings. I love love that about a story.

Emma is such a strong woman. She is Kind and hard working, she has struggled to get to where she is in life. She really holds her own. Even when she meet the Arrogant Arsehole Gavin Grayson.
Gavin has all the making of a hero I knew I was gonna fall hard for and boy did I fall for him.

I loved their interactions from the Beginning. I loved watching Emma break down his walls. More than that them coming together was earth shattering... I have so much love for that Hotel Wall now.
It's so evident these two are meant for each other. So many instances I felt Julia Roberts in pretty woman Except Emma definitely isn't a Call girl, though Gavin is definitely the billionaire Prince charming....
This Man Owns My Heart. I Fucking adore him even broken he is still so Swoony.

I see myself Re-Reading soon. That's how Phenomenal this story was.
I have to warn that Around 70% for short while get the Tissues. My heart breaks for Emma. And for God's Sake don't throw your Kindle please.
Lynn takes care of you and you will all smiles, with Hearts in your eyes....
Ohhhhhh that Epilogue 1Word: Fan-Fucking-tastic
Enjoy this beautiful and Heartwarming story as much as I did...

Welcome to the Cameo Hotel is a fantastic read by KI Lynn. I have been following KI Lynn for quite some time now and all her books are fantastic, and this one has just about every emotion there is. You will laugh, cry, get angry, and whoa the sex. Steamy. As. Duck. Yes, duck. I wanted to go in the book and trade places with Emma quite a few times.

Emma is a manager for The Cameo Hotel where Gavin decides to check in at. The first rule of the hotel, Never Date/Hook Up with a Guest. Gavin catches Emma’s eye and she catches his. Gavin knows going after her is wrong, so he does the next best thing. Makes her working hours quite the chore. Gavin does everything he can to make her come to his room. When they finally give into temptation, it is HOT!

Yes, you will want to beat Gavin’s behind a few times but once you know his story, you feel for him.

Is this just a hookup? Or is it forever?

Read. Read. Read. One click. Do it. You will not regret it.

My first KI Lynn book & I loved it. I have wanted to read this author FOREVER. I’m so happy i started with this story.

You meet Emma hard working, supervisor at a big shot hotel. While finishing up her MBA. She works all kinds of hours to make ends meet and is doing her best to finish out school so she can start her life.

In walks Gavin. Sexy, powerful, rich. He is staying at her hotel and will do everything and anything to complain, yell, and make Emma want to pull her hair out. These two were dynamite. The tension. The push. The heat. The electricity. I just loved everything these to brought to this story.

The taboo layer added so much anxious heat to the already heated.

This book was so much more than hotel supervisor meets crazy, rich as sin customer. The layers that transformed to bring these two together made the story that much more addictive. I cannot wait to read more by this author.

I liked the way K.I Lynn wrote the story however Gavin got on my nerves. Sure he had reason to be suspicious but I felt like he was to rude and let his emotions go to far. He could be a real jerk at times and I didn't think the excuses redeemed him. But would like to read more by this author

It's only January, but I think I already have my "worst book of the year."

Emma is a grad student working at the Cameo Hotel as a supervisor. Gavin is a hotshot asshole businessman who just moved to the city. Mr. Hotshot doesn't have time to look for a house, so he just spends $800/day to stay at Cameo Hotel.

You know that asshole customer who complains about the pettiest little shit? The customer who's never satisfied and always has something new to complain about? The customer whose nonsensical complaints can get hardworking employees fired? Well, that's the "hero" of this book 🤡

Now, you may ask, "Why is Gavin so dissatisfied all the time??" Well, he's not. Not really. He just thinks that being a petty asshole to the hotel employees is the only way for him to get to see Emma and spend time with her 🤡 He even compares himself to the young boy who bullies—excuse me—teases the girl he likes.

He knows that being a petty asshole customer could get people fired. But he doesn't give a shit. And neither does Emma, by the way. Once she finds out why he's been complaining everyday, she's ready to drop her panties for him. Who cares if her colleagues' employment records are getting filled with this asshole's complaints? It's cool, as long as she gets some of that D. Who cares about figuring out how Gavin found her address behind her back? It's cool, as long as he's sending her cutesy notes and flowers. Who cares that she's leading her coworker James on and refuses to tell him she no longer has feelings for him? Having fun with Gavin takes precedence!

Then again, Gavin and Emma are the types of people who call hotel employees "lowly" simply because they have the audacity to only have a high school level education 🤡 They're idiots compared to smart cookie Emma who's pursuing an MBA while working.

Gavin may be proud that his girlfriend is a smart cookie, but damn, he hates her cheap Corolla car and her small apartment. He judges Emma for being poor, but it's cool because wow he gifts her jewelry from Tiffany's! Our smart cookie gets the shock of her life when she finds out that the jewelry is platinum with real diamonds. Because Tiffany's obviously sells fake diamonds 🤡

What is the climax all about? It's about Gavin's man pain and trust issues because his ex wife was a gold digger, so obviously that means Emma is also a gold digger who got pregnant on purpose to steal all his money 🤡 Cry me a fucking river.

description

Surprising sweet, filled with a whole bunch of sexy and a Grade-A asshole.

I have read a few of this author's books and while I was expecting something a little grittier, I was pleasantly surprised by the tone and content of the book. I was a bit sad that it wasn't quite what I was expecting but equally as happy with the finished product.

Emma is a smart girl and hard-worker. Going to school, working full-time, studying hard to make something of herself for when she finally graduates and gets out of the hotel. Everything is going according to plan until the worst day ever happens at the up-scale hotel she works at. Not only does the catastrophe never end, but in walks the most beautiful and rudest man on the planet.

Gavin Greyson is a dick. He is customer service's worst nightmare. He complains about everything, like no joke, everything. Unfortunately, he is also quite attractive, rich, equally as hard working and smart. Every night that Emma comes into work he finds herself attempting to cater to his needs. But it is what is behind the ridiculous complaints that I found myself swooning over him.

There was certainly some insta-lust and some almost too quick to resolve issues, but this book was filled with sexy banter, sneaking around, some giggles and feels. Even though it wasn't quite what I was expecting, the writing was engaging. Emma became my hero and perhaps by the end, Gavin even grew on me. It is always a pleasure to read on Ms. Lynn's books and this was no exception. It was a nice summer read, lots of heat and chemistry, witty conversation and banter, interesting side characters and a romance story that pulls at the heartstrings.

I am in cover lust!!! This cover is sooo beautiful and perfect for Welcome to the Cameo Hotel!

I tell you what, I have been in 5 Star Heaven lately and K.I. Lynn's book was my next 5 Star read!! I absolutely loved everything about this book. It was very funny, very bantery (that's a word...right??) hahaha and very HAWT!!!

This book starts off with Emma, she works the front desk at a very swanky hotel in Boston. It is more for the elite clientele, such as celebrities and corporate CEO'S. She plans on getting out of the business and finish her MBA. She has her life planed out until the very needy, grumpy, very HAWT but very unruly patron takes up residence in her hotel. lol

Emma is sooo pushed to her limits with Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome but she does everything she can to keep her cool and she always does it with a smile. Of course unbeknownst to her, Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome has a hidden agenda for this beautiful desk clerk.

"What's wrong tonight?" I asked as I stepped into his room. "You're not in it," He said.

Eeeeppp see....OMG go one click on release day..Welcome to the Cameo Hotel will have you checking in and never want to check out!!! Thank you for another great read K.I. Lynn...love reading your books girlie!!!

Welcome to the Cameo Hotel was an ok read for me, I didn't love it or hate it. I don't have much to say about this book but that there was insta-lust, sexy rich man who is a major jerk wants beautiful woman working at the hotel he is staying at, than insta-love. While the chemistry was hot I guess overall I needed more. I did love how all in Gavin was when he finally gave in to his feelings but I hated the way he treated her towards the end and a little communication could have saved all the heartache. I liked Emma a lot, she was independent and determined to do things her way. Overall I didn't love it as much as Six but I'm glad I read it and will read more books by this author.

This book has some secret love, and lots of ups and downs. K.I. has written another book that kept me completely consumed. This book is mostly written from one POV with some chapters written in the other main characters POV.

Emma is an independent, strong woman who has worked hard for 6 years to reach her goals. She hasn’t had time for romance in a long time. “Faith. Karma. Kismet.” changed all that though. Suddenly she has someone who will find any way to see her; even if it is in nefarious ways.

This book kept me up at night, for all the right reasons.
