When a serial killer escapes from jail, Detective Sara Hunt becomes his only obsession. While bodies are found with her name on them, Sara has no choice but to send her family away to keep them safe. Only then can she focus on the case and put this monster down... or die trying.
KILL FOR ME is the third and final instalment to a gripping new serial killer series. It features Sara Hunt, a no-nonsense homicide detective with a big secret, and that secret is on the verge of coming out.
The Detective Sara Hunt trilogy co-authored with Adam Nicholls is Natasha's first foray into thrillers focused on serial killers and all things dark. She enjoys finding a balance between lighthearted topics and the bleakness that typifies crime stories.
One of her favorite things to do is watch Scandinavian-influenced crime series with an occasional episode from random HGTV shows thrown in to balance the gloom.
Otherwise, she can be found taking her Pomeranian to the dog park, doing yoga, or drinking California red wines.

Unfortunately, this book did not resonate with me. There’s something about the character Sara that doesn’t sit well with me. The story begins with a brutal crime that captures the city’s attention, prompting Detective Sara Hunt to lead the investigation. As expected, the case becomes personal, revealing connections to Sara’s dark past. The book thoroughly explores Sara's emotional and professional life, highlighting how her past trauma and rebellious behaviour influence her investigations. This series will appeal to readers who enjoy thrillers in which the detective’s personal life is as dangerous and complicated as the crimes they solve, with continuous action throughout.
The pairing of Adam Nicholls and Natasha Luke has once more delivered a book that I hated to put down. When the third book of a series is released that you’ve enjoyed your expectations can be unfairly raised at times. I absolutely loved the first two books in this series and looked forward to more of the same, especially after the cliffhanger at the end of book two, Forget Me Not. I wasn’t disappointed. This is once again a top notch thriller that continues the story of the series well. As with the other books the writing is superb and the pacing well maintained throughout. For me the other books had a little something more about them but that mustn’t take anything from this one, it's superb. There’s murder, tension, mystery and edge-of-the-seat thrills and a final stunning end to the series. Great work.
Deranged killer Tommy Pope, dealt seemingly a lifetime of misery to Sara Hunt for her unknowing part in her past, for helping assist her Father long ago, when he asked for her help. Then her past help finally caught up with her in Kill For Me, ending it all. NO SPOILERS. But was it really the end to the nightmare she had been living? MUST READ, Kill For Me, turned out to be a breath holding, skin chilling, mystery and intrigue book, by skillful writers Adam Nicholls, and Natasha Luke. Delivered edge of your seat reading with some mind numbing action, and even that doesn’t cover what is between the page turner pages in Kill For Me! HIGHLY recommend Kill For Me as a MUST READ book in the Detective Sara Hunt series!!
This installment answered a lot more of the questions I had from the beginning. At the same time in brings into question is this really the end. I see many ways this series can continue. Guess we will have to wait and see.
